Don’t be fooled by it’s shabby exterior. Upon entry we were pleasantly surprised by the number of historical artifacts, carriages, and artwork. If you’re passing by Cheyenne, you should make a pit stop at this museum , you won’t regret it !

Awesome museum more of a cowboy and rodeo museum so if u love the rodeo or cowboys or just wanna explore a taste of the old life of the frontier like I did this is def. The place to go. I must say the country life and rodeo life has been growing on me and they had a great video inside showing the courageous and wild cowboys and cowgirls in the rodeos and theyre winnings of belt buckles and high stake cash prizes . They take a lickin n keep on tickin awesome

Cool museum, lots of historic bull riding and old west artifacts, must see Cheyenne attraction. Frontier Days was closed due to COVID-19 but it was as close as you can get during a pandemic.

I really enjoy a good Museum and this was certainly a good Museum. Admission I think was about $9 a person. Covered a lot of the frontier days activities that goes on annually in Cheyenne but also had numerous old timey covered wagons and horse-drawn equipment. There is a lot of Western Art including paintings and sculpture there for viewing and I believe they are also for sale. So if youre in the neighborhood might as well stop by and take a look if you like Western museums and museums about the West you will enjoy this one.

If a good museum is your thing then this one is going to transport you back to days of old. The carriages are a great way to spend time contemplating how the ladies got in out. I personally think that could be the start of the custom of opening the door for a lady. If you have a hour or four stop in check it out.

This is a pretty good museum. They have lots of neat things here, like old safes, the old town hall sign from the 1800s and others. They also have tons and tons of carriages from a long time ago and lots of things on rodeos. The only reason I am giving it four stars and not five is that it wasn’t about the “old west” as much as it was about carriages and rodeos. There is nothing wrong with that but I was expecting something a little more about Old Western things. Overall it is a good museum and I would recommend it to people looking to learn or see things on rodeos.

Push, shove, be a jerk. CFD officials do not care CFD officials at all levels believe it is a free all. Not one CFD employee or volunteer would support us after we had been in position for hours. Much aggression from them but no support after people pushed in on us after hours of the same position on the concrete.
