I played golf here recently, and the course is in great shape, and the facilities were nice. All 4 of us in our group were happy with the amount charged for golf and the course itself, we had a great time.The problem we all had was with the staff. From the start, they were rude to each of us (we all went in separately over a period of about 30 minutes). We all commented on how they warned us about completing our round and returning the carts by 7:15 pm. We thought this was odd, since sunset wasnt until 7:15, and civil sunset (when it actually gets dark) wasnt until 7:43. We played all 18 holes, and we finished our last hole in the dark, but we had not trouble seeing our balls on the 16th and 17th holes. When we got in, the guy working the cart return had his car pulled up with the engine running and told us he was about to lock us in. Contrast this with our experience at another course the week before. We go out later, and we couldnt finish all our holes, so we had to drive a bit to get the carts back after it got dark. The reception at this course was much different. We were asked about how our rounds were. We were asked if we enjoyed the course. We helped the young man there clean out our carts and then we sat in the parking lot, comparing scores and settling bets. So, you can imagine which course well visit in the future. This course can keep the attitude, and well spend our money elsewhere.

I golf here every Friday morning. I’m thinking of buying the membership as the cost is probably cheaper in the long run.The good: The course is usually in great condition, the grass is always cut nice, the greens are in good shape, and the fairways are open.The bad: The course can play long, so if you’re new to golf, this will be challenging. If you hit it in the rough, you may lose your ball. (Keep it straight). The hole placement on the greens are usually incredibly difficult. As if the guy creating the hole placement woke up in a bad mood and decided to take it out of the golfers. I’ve learn to read these greens better and instead of 4 putting, I can usually 2 putt.I highly recommend playing here.

Very nice golf course and is in good condition. Kevin who works there is awesome. We have seen and talked to him several times and he is always pleasant and helpful. All of the employees have always been nice.

Doing a great job dealing with Covid-19 safety. Must wear a mask in club house, 1 person at a time paying for round, Okay to have golf cart with 1 person and carts totally disinfected after each use. Course can be challenging, but fair to casual golfer. Friendly and helpful staff.

Pro shoppe staff and kitchen staff are great. Course is in reasonable shape considering it is public track.

Course was in good shape. That’s the only positive thing I’ll say about golfing here. Marshal is a joke. Followed us on every hole touting rules, saying we defied him? We weren’t sure how to respond. Stopped us on the 8th hole at 7:27 saying we were done and he has to put the carts back. This was after they let 6 players ahead of us to finish a tournament. We waited 20 minutes and then didn’t even get to play 9. Our 6 man group as well as the rest of our hockey team golf weekly and will never come back to this course.

Nice link course. I always enjoy playing there. One of the best maintained course in suburban St. Louis.

Nice golf.course. need to work out some.kinks dealing with the masks and social distancing thing. 90 degree day, cannot bring your own cooler and no beverage cart on the course. No water to keep hydrated? There has to be some.compromise here. Have played other courses that have their own app that works with gps on phone allowing you to get distances and see how layouts as you play. Just saying. Seems reasonable.

Friendly people, beautiful fairways and greens. Difficulty fairly low. Could use some trees for shade and hazards.

Great quality public golf course, with a very pleasant staff.

My review was 5 stars until upper management fired everyone because my event coordinator/manager did a better job than the upper level management wanted to admit. A few of my coworkers were incredibly rude and hard to work with so not sad to say I left but working with Jaclyn Tripp was always a pleasure.

The course was nice, minus the water damage. The staff was not good. Very disrespectful and rude. The Marshall followed our group. Very rude, will not be going back.

Great wish I had played better

A nice public facility with range, putting green, wedge and sand green.

The workers were extremely rude. It is not an enjoyable experience when the workers constantly criticize and ask you dumb questions. I would never recommend this golf course considering the rude workers and the average at best course.

Course is in good condition (July 2019). They are working hard to keep the greens nice in the heat, they are receptive but fast right now. The rough is grown out nicely. Overall, this is a pretty easy course that is very forgiving for all skill levels. It’s a fun course and good for the price. The layout can be a bit boring at times, at lot of the holes are very similar, straight holes with not a lot of hazards. It’s still a fun course with birdie opportunities. If you like this course, you could check out The Quarry at Crystal Springs, comparable conditions with a more interesting layout.

Mediocre course with unfriendly staff.

Terrible service. I patiently waited on the phone over 10 minutes because their computer system was down. Once they were back up he was incredibly rude and cut me off before I could finish a sentence. Stating sir I’m in a hurry. Not a great way to handle clients. There are other courses that a actually appreciate your business. I would find those.

The people are very nice and helpful

I felt the course was in great condition. It has very forgiving fairways and rough. However, my whole experience was ruined by the marshal there. We are not scratch golfers and may have been a few minutes slow but we were not egregiously slow. I can understand having tee times and trying to manage that schedule but trying to enforce a time for when you hit the turn and then be done by is ridiculous. I would have understood if there was a tournament later that day but to be reminded 3 times and very rudely at that about our pace is inexcusable. This was the first time I played the course and WILL be the last time I ever play here. I wouldnt recommend this course to anyone and solely based upon my experience with the personell. There are better and more friendlier options available within a 20 minute drive. Have a good day!

Awesome condition. For you who complain about the Marshall, he’s getting you to play faster so you don’t slow down the rest of us. Give it a rest. Loved my experience!

Great golf course! It’s an extremely nice course for what you pay to play. I would highly recommend this course for anyone looking for nicer greens and fairways. The greens are a little tough for beginners but it’s a great course and you can have a lot of fun.

In great shape...greens rolling perfect!

I was here for a wedding so I didnt get out on the course. It is a bit hidden behind the airport on a winding road which was difficult to find. The club house has seen better days. The wait staff was friendly but the bartender was pretty inexperienced and couldnt make basic cocktails without a cheat sheet. It was a very warm day and we were mostly outside under a tent. Overall the experience was pretty good but definitely had some downsides.

It is a decent facility for the location. I enjoyed it. The grounds are in good shape and offers a nice course.Most of the staff was friendly.

Quick greens and playability make this a good couse. Pricey but its close to everyone. Can be a tad slow but you can watch planes take off and land. Solid course.

I was also in the foursome mentioned by a couple of golfers who commented over the last 24 hours. As they said, the course and most of the staff was great...except for one of the marshals. Not only did he bark at us for being behind by 10 minutes at the turn. But then sat on the 10th tee box waiting for us to hit, which was unnerving and rude to say the least. We were only a minute or two behind when we went in to get food at the turn and that is why we were 10 minutes off by the time we got onto the 10th hole. In addition to that, nobody waited on us the entire day, so rushing us was overkill and unnecessary. Had it not been for that, the reviews from all of us would have been positive. Maybe some customer service training for him would go a long way.

Played in a threesome in less than 4 hours this morning. Course was in really good shape and the greens were a little slower than usual, which is good. Very enjoyable day and the staff was very friendly. Always arrange to play here when in town.

Used to be a great course and great experience. I called three weeks in advance to book a group of 8 guys. It was never mentioned to me that 4 of the greens were under construction which is 100% inexcusable. The pro shop should have advised us, or provided winter rates, or offered some sort of concession. Rather than do this, we encountered a really crabby old fella in the pro shop, followed by receipt checking as soon as we walked out of the pro shop as if we were trying to sneak on the course or something and then the cherry on top was paying for 18 greens and only getting to play 14 (and dont let me forget cart path only when it wasnt even that wet!). Dont spend your time or money on this course again until the management is ready to be up front with the players spending money there!!!! These guys think they are running Troon North in Scottsdale or something.....what a joke.

I have never been treated with such disrespect! We had a foursome playing their twighlight special asked Tom what time we had to be in he told us 7:45. At 7:35 we were getting ready to tee off on 17 and he pulled his cart right on the tee box in front of the ball and said youre done you need to leave! When we told him you told us 7:45 he looked at us and said Bull S#!t!. We asked for his name and told him we would be contacting management. We told him all he had to do was politely tell us it was time to wrap it up and we would have finished. We told him that his golf course had just lost four customers because of the way he had treated us and he shrugged and said I have run off hundreds of others! What kind of business can run like this? I will be contacting management and hopefully they can resolve this issue. The course was in great shape and it is a shame that a RUDE employee can ruin a great course.

Well maintained course , yet with spring late its hard to give an accurate course rating. Watching the planes take off and land looks nice yet distracting .

This is a very nice, links-style course, with some of the best, biggest greens in the St. Louis area. Good putting and chipping greens, as well as driving range. The pro, Don Gorin, is really good. My only complaint is the price. While the regular price is comparable to the other top public courses, they do not seem to drop the prices much, seasonally.

Great location for a company xmas luncheon

My husband and I got married here May 2013. Through most of our planning process we dealt with Lori. The week before our wedding she accepted another job so Lisa was going to be in charge (even though Lori said she would be there for our wedding). For our rehearsal Lori just lined up our wedding party and that was it. It had been raining and she didnt want us out on the green which was fine. She spent a whole 5 minutes with us then went to attend to the wedding party for the night after us, and they got a lot more attention. I shrugged it off at the time. I had sent Lori pictures of how the decorations were to be set up, but on the day I got a call saying that nobody knew what to do with all the decorations as Lori had not forwarded those pictures and no one had heard from her. My mother and a few other family members were there to decorate the cake table and gift table (which had been told to Lori on two separate occasions) so they called me and asked for some direction. Apparently while they were working on this one of the staff members said Well if I would have known they were going to be here I wouldnt have f*ing come in this early. Who says that? On top of that Lisa gave them attitude about being there and when Lori finally showed up she was hateful to them as well! My mother said the the arch they set up on the green for us to get married in front of had tulle and ivy hanging off of it all over the place, so my grandmother had to go out and fix it! When she did they saw that the tulle didnt go all the way down so my mom asked if there were plants that could be set in front of it so that it would look nicer for our pictures. My mom offered to pay, and they said it would probably be between $20 and $40 dollars. At the end of the night Lisa came up and asked my mom for $117! On top of all of that Lori walked around our wedding in shorts which doesnt look nice in the picture of me and my father leaving the clubhouse to walk down the aisle! It was not professional at all.
