We celebrated an adult birthday party in the VIP Room and it was a blast! Lilly Bynum, the event planner, made the planning so so easy and was quick to respond. She greeted us before the event began and showed us around and introduced us to the bar staff, all of whom were so nice and fun. The food was good and came out exactly when I had requested. They provided everything, even for the cupcakes that we brought. We were even able to pick our own music as well, which was very accommodating. Highly recommend!

We rented the VIP Suite and it was worth the money. The food was excellent and no one bothered us while we played unlimited bowling. Great music and terrific wait staff. The Laser Tag was the best. Everyone had fun!!

We had a wonderful time today! Thanks very much to Connor, the Arcade Supervisor. He was super helpful and helped my five-year old calm down after she got scared of the darkness and sounds from Laser Tag. He had such a friendly and helpful attitude and made our familys experience awesome!

Absolutely terrible. Looked up something to do with my son online and decided on this place. Well after getting him excited that we were going and driving 30 minutes there we were told they had a league about to start and they had nothing for us. Thanks. What a complete waste of time (which I dont have much of.) Heres an idea: maybe put a note on your website that says possible limited availability of lanes, call for info! I would think that a league or an event where all lanes would be taken would be scheduled out, so you would know in advance about such an event and thus this all could be avoided. A family of 10 walked out behind me with the same issue.i have added screen shots of what I read online. It doesnt state anywhere that I would be a league night. Maybe Im blowing this out of proportion or maybe Im just tired of being hosed like most Americans these days. I wonder why places like this go out of business .

We had the best time for our sons 6th birthday! Our party host Kylie was amazing, she was helpful and made everything so easy. We will definitely be back for future parties.

We have come twice to bowl on Wednesday and was turned down both times a young lady was at front first then told us to wait a minute a man came from back and said they were doing every other lane and everyone was doing the special my husband said we would wait and see if anyone left then the man said it is 10 05 so we would not have much time to bowl. The time before that we was told they was closing and it was 10 15 I think it is ashame that they turn people away because they want to get out of there early. We are very disappointed !!

Had a blast and love the atmosphere!! The 2 hr bowling special from 9pm-11pm for $10 is awesome, but we felt like they were trying to close down early. They closed the game shop at 10:15, and started announcing last call for food/drinks at 10:20, but after we asked if we could still play games they opened it back up. They ended up shutting all the games down at 10:55, but I nderstand that is probably their protocol! Overall we had a good night! I give it a 3 star rating and would visit again

We needed a day out. This was what the kids wanted to do. We arrived early it wasnt busy at all. Very clean and even better looking inside than the one we had in Vermont when we lived there. The set up is nice and the staff was helpful and friendly. We purchased two large pizzas and 5 colas and that seemed expensive, over $50, plus a tip. The pizza was pretty good, not $50 good, but the kids liked it quite a bit. The bowling was great, we arent awesome bowlers, but still had fun. The arcade was clean and fun. Its super expensive, but that wasnt a surprise. There were a few games not working properly and they gave the kids back the money they lost on one or two of the games, and when two of us lost $1.25 each on a two player game, they said theyd give us a free swipe on any other game we chose to play. Only thing is, she only swiped for one of us, not both so it didnt add up to what we lost. I was sick of asking this particular young woman for help, she didnt seem very outgoing or like she wanted to be there really, so I didnt want to bother her for another issue. Overall the arcade was fun and a big hit with the kids, they love the intoxicating noise and lights and adrenaline. We finished up with a family game of lazer tag. Super fun, as hoped. We are going to return again and hope to have as much (or more) fun next time. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful.

Amazing facelift!! Haven’t been there in about 5 years. It reminds me of a small Dave and busters. We had an awesome time with the new halo arcade game!!

Went there as a group of 30. Food was great, the service was very good . Had a great time , would recommend it to a friend.

First I one Ive been since the name change and remodel. Took my grandson and nephew. It was very nice and clean. Love the decor. Got to bowl in VIP section! Very nice!

When we arrived we waited 10 minutes for anyone to come to the counter. Then in the middle of the game they had to move us due to the lane not working. Arcade kept taking our money and not working at all. Also the bar was suppose to be open at 5 took till 530 to get a drink with tons of employees standing around. Worst experience we have ever had at a bowling alley. Also the lane kept having to be reset the lane as well very aggregating. Do not recommend them!!!!

They were all nice N friendly. We had a blast. We will make it family more often.

Terrible service. Total of 3 people working on a Friday afternoon. One was just standing by watching. He sent us to laser tag Bc that’s where you paid, waited TWENTY minutes with no body. Find out only one guy working that and the win shop. Then comes back to tell me the machine isn’t working and has to go back to the front to wait all over again. Terrible service will not go back!

This bowling alley was extremely nice! Everything was very updated and well laid out. There was a large arcade and nice seating area to take a break for drinks and snacks. The lanes looked good and there was a touch screen pad used to input players and control the options. Super nice! Would visit again!

We were in the VIP section for a Christmas party hosted by my husbands office. So this review is really only in regards to a party rather than the normal bowling experience.The area was very well decorated, secluded, with its own bathroom. It had a little dining area, an area to relax by a fireplace, and a private bar. The staff was amazing and courteous.We had unlimited games on the lanes for the time we were there. Experienced the typical amount of hiccups youd expect with the lanes malfunctioning.The only ding I give them is on the food. For a high end VIP party I would have expected the food to be more than just what they serve at their bar. It was good, but not amazing. Wings, veggie tray, chicken tenders, tater tots, mozzarella sticks, chips and salsa, etc, served in catering chafing dishes. Again, there was nothing wrong with the food, I would just have expected more given the look and feel of the place when you walk in.All in all everyone had a great time. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a cool, all in one entertainment place. Bowling, laser tag, arcade games, bar, and food are all part of the package. Theres plenty to do! Its definitely a bit pricey, though, and you cant use money you put on the arcade card for anything but the arcade, which messed our groups plans up some. They could be a little more user friendly with that setup.

Always good, fun to play and great service

Our company recently rented out a VIP section at this location of Spare Time for a team event. We rented two lanes with the full catering options for two hours. The lanes and the area were clean, and the bowling was fun, but the service was absolutely below sub par the entire time. The waitress begrudgingly opened the bar just for us and wouldnt serve us any food besides the food that had come pre-ordered with our rental.At the end of our two hours, we were having so much fun we were not ready to leave, we asked the waitress if we could purchase the lanes for a few more hours. She told us The only reason Im here is for this party. and would not let us purchase more time in the VIP area.We thanked her for her service and decided to move into the regular bowling area and purchase a lane and a few games there.After our games were finished at this lane, we sat - conversing and finishing our beers when our waitress from the VIP area came and asked us to move from the lane so she could put someone else there....there were at least 13 other open lanes. Absolutely unbelievable.In summation, the game of bowling could have never been fun enough to overcome the terrible service rendered by this Spare Time representative.

They were great and super understanding. They even assisted in my sons pinata.... Which was unexpected, the day turned out great and my son said it was perfect. Thanks to spare time and their attentiveness... Did I mention the bar was definitely on pointe!

A lot of the arcades dont work. And the workers dont care that you waste your money. First time coming, and I wont waste my time or money coming back.

Husband and I had a blast! Wonderful atmosphere for a night out. The staff was very friendly and quick with service. The food was way better than expected and they have a lovely bartender. The lanes are well maintained and the arcade in back is just as fun. Definitely making return visits!

This was by far the nicest bowling alley we have visited. The staff is friendly and professional. There is a nice bar and food for those interested. The design is fun and modern and organized. The equipment and lanes are brand new. We went for my sisters birthday. We had our 4 year old with us. He bowled with ease. Their child bowling assist was a dinosaur which doubled as a slide for him when he wasnt bowling. There is an arcade we played at when done bowling.

We first went to eat at the bar grill. The server “India” was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The food was pretty good. I got the Piggy Burger. Sheesh. That patty was thick. We also got the Cowboy Tots as a starter which was interesting and tasty. The food is a little on the pricey side but still good food. For having unlimited game time on Tuesdays from 9p-12a it was very quiet. Besides my wife and I there was maybe 2 other small groups. Unlimited game play does not allow you to earn tickets which is kind of a bummer especially for the price but we still had fun which is what it’s all about considering we were on our anniversary trip in Chattanooga. The staff at the counter and game rooms and grill were very nice. Laser tag was fun. I got demolished in Free-For-All by wife but oh well.

Went during the Super Bowl where they had a special for roughly $10 per person. It came with 2 pizzas and soda. While the food was sub-par the place was relatively clean and it was a fun take on a Super Bowl party. I would definitely recommend going here with friends!

The reason I say this is because I ordered a top shelf long island, and the price said 12 on the menu however I was charged $2+ for it. I felt it was iced down so the idea of TOP SHELF...NAHHH I couldve bought my own and did it better for less than that.

This place was very over priced. We went earlier in the day and we had 2 lanes for 7 ppl. The lights were off and we could hardly hear music. The atmosphere was not worth the $120 I spent for about an hour of bowling. Two dollars for a 30 second game and $8 for a few minutes of later tag, if you can even get someone to help you. I spent over $250 in just a couple hours and I was very unimpressed with the place. Dave and Busters would have been a much better bang for my buck.

Definitely my favorite bowling alley in the area. The food is really good, there is service at your lane, and the arcade is excellent! Fun for kids and adults alike.

I had not been to this location since its re-branding and renovation. The alley is contemporary, but almost too much so. While there may be lanes at the location, it feels almost more like a club. That is not to say it is a bad thing, but if you are looking for a traditional bowling alley, this is not it. The lanes were nice and bowlers seating area were comfortable. We did have some trouble with the pins not resetting correctly on multiple frames, as well as at one point it took almost 5 minutes for one of our balls to return from the retrieval area. Of course this is not world ending, but it was an inconvenience nonetheless. Finally, the front desk seemed to be very short staffed for a Friday. It is possible there was a larger client rush than normal that day. However, not having someone available to assist the clerk did result in long wait times. Overall, despite not having the traditional bowling alley atmosphere I prefer, I would return to this location.

Good Lanes and very modernized setup.They had some pretty darn good wings available, and a variety of other food options, plus a great looking arcade, tucked away.At about $11 per person for a round of bowling (including shoes, so the second game is cheaper), it isnt expensive, but it aint the cheapest, either.Id gladly go again.

We always have a blast when we go. Laser Tag and the bowl. The same thing every time. The staff members are always nice and the bathrooms are always clean.

My family and I bowled and played lazer tag. It was a blast, and not too expensive. It was very clean, the wait staff our great, and the bar staff were fantastic!

The lane keep getting stuck the whole night

The place was super nice. We only bowled while there, but I have to say it was very enjoyable. There was a wait, but thats to be expected on a Friday night. Barely noticed the wait as we found some comfy seats and just chatted till our turn. Drinks were good and the venue was super nice. 100% would go again.

The place was very clean. We went early and were able to beat the crowds. Laser tag and the arcade were a lot of fun. If you have 5+ kids bowling I would suggest only one game. you are able to put bumpers up and they have a device that will help kids.

Decent, but only has a few lanes, the rest of the place is a bar and a few kiddie games no pool tables.

Tons of fun! We hit it up on Tuesday where 9pm-midnight was $10 per person for unlimited games and shoe rental.

We came a couple of times now and always have a great time. I think the only thing is that we like to spend some time in the arcade after we play our games on the lane but theres always so many games out of order or not working properly and they took away the photo booth.

Jade was AMAZING! He has an awesome personality and was on top of it! By far the best host ever at Spare Time! Give that dude a raise! Thanks Jade!

We had the best birthday party here! Kirsten, our hostess was amazing! It was a great experience, she took care of everything. We had a great time. And Constance followed up at the end to make sure we all had a good time. Kirsten even sent a thank you card for celebrating my daughters birthday with her. I would recommend a birthday party for a fun, no stress good time! Thanks to you guys!!!

More suited for casual bowlers, not regular/league bowlers, and is a bit on the pricey side.

Came with my friends to play laser tag. We were told to pay in cash because we had around 30 people (as opposed to swiping 30 cards at once). What started out very fun quickly turned sour as we went to leave and realized all of our cash had been stolen out of our wallets (i.e., the money we were told to pay with.) we left our belonging where the faculty told us to, the doors were not locked and we did not sign any waivers. In the middle of police reports and trying to press charges, as we lost well over $300 in cash tonight. Do not come here, and if you do, do NOT leave your belongings out.

Its a fun place for family and friends to go bowling or just hang out and eat at.

First time we have ever been there. Had a very good time. Drinks were a little high priced to us. But thats not going to stop us from going back. We are going to go back for Fathers Day. Have a very good price special for that. Our family is going to start going there as often as possible.. Loved everything about this place. We attended a birthday party there. Our server was very attentive and available for the whole group. Its a great time and place to hang out.

Foods over priced, waited longer than your typical restaurant to get our food and drinks. The Arcade is a joke instead of tickets its now points which are way less than what you would have gotten if it were tickets. The bowling experience was the only thing worth going for.

We rented the Private VIP Room for our company summer party and Savannah the event planner, Jennifer the bartender, and Cindy and Allie the servers all did such a fantastic job, there was minimal tasks for me to do to set up and keep things flowing throughout the night.The food was great, the kids had an endless amount of arcade games and the staff was so very helpful and kind.The majority of our employees at Maksteel Chattanooga, commented on how much they enjoyed the party.So thank you all for making it such a flawless afternoon for all of us... I cant wait to come back and knock down some pins myself.

The place was very busy one the wet day of April 7th. The staff was not friendly at all. We stood in line waiting to be asked if we needed help. It appeared as if managers were there viewing spectators and not offering any help to the staff. A very polite lady finally offered to help us just before being pulled away to handle another task! Rain was in the forecast for the day we were there and a staff member stated they are swamped on wet days. Why wasnt ENOUGH STAFF there?... Despite the above passage my kid and her friends enjoyed and Id like to think on a less busy day their customer service is much better!

Clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great lanes and the laser tag was awesome!!! Very reasonable prices. Also, they participate in free summer bowling for children! We will be returning. :)
