We had an amazing experience here! Chris was extremely helpful. He made the experience very enjoyable. The environment was very welcoming. The staff and the guests were very friendly. We felt right at home. The price for what you get is very reasonable. We will definitely be coming back for more fun.

If you are looking for something new and different to do, definitely give this place a look. At about $20 an hour, its a relatively inexpensive outing as well. Harder than it looks, but you eventually learn how to hit the targets. A lot of fun and will for sure be back!

My husband and I did this on a date night and we had a blast! I came in with zero expectations since I had never done anything like this before, and we left laughing. We are already planning our next trip and talking friends into coming with us. The staff is great and engaging. Very fun!

Me and my husband came up from Atlanta to come and check out this place, and let me tell you it was AWESOME! My husband loved it and Chris and Brian were the best! After about 30 minutes my arms were tired and I just couldn’t keep going, but my husband could and Chris and Brian filled in for me and played with him and taught him a few tricks! I defiantly recommend! Family friendly and the best service we’ve had in a long time at a place like that! Thanks guys!

First time ever doing this today. Had a TON of fun. The owner was way down to earth, an amazing host, and terrific teacher. Very safe atmosphere. This is a great activity for a date night, family night, or just to decompress and blow off some steam. Extremely affordable, clean, great location, well set up. I have never seen anything like this. Probably the most fun we have had all year. Very reasonable pricing. No bar(wait for it) or concession stand taunting you with way overpriced items trying to compensate for the affordable door pricing. If alcohol is on the agenda for the night that’s not at all a problem, the Civil Axe is a “BYOB” brown bag establishment. The atmosphere was exciting and up beat, yet still relaxed. If your in the mood for something new I highly recommend, Civil Axe Throwing. You will have a good time.

This was a really cool experience. We went for my wifes birthday with a group of 8 people. The staff, or axeperts were very kind and did a good job of getting us started with the axe throwing. Its just fun. The game we played was competitive and overall just a good time. Bonus: you can bring your own food and drink. Eating pizza and drinking beer while throwing axes was a great experience.

I have no words...This was one of the most fun experiences I have had in a while and surely worth the drive for us! I definitely did not expect throwing axes to be so fun, but when you throw in family time, competition, and the wonderful staff that’s exactly what you get. I think all of us were a little unsure of what to expect but with the help of Camry we were having a blast in no time. Camry was instructional, fun, patient and actually took the time to ensure we were having a great time! An overall, amazing experience!

This place was an absolute blast!! We had 8 people in our party and did it as a birthday surprise for my husband. Brought a bunch of wine and beer, which just topped it off. The instructor was super helpful and made us feel comfortable. The hour flew by! I wish we had booked longer. Id encourage booking more than an hour. It took us at least 30 minutes to really start getting the hang of things. Another hour still would have gone by quickly and would have given us a chance to land some more solid throws and nail a few trick shots.

Brian was AMAZING!! He taught me super fun trick shots and was able to watch me throw and tell me what I needed to do to fix my aim. He was a rockstar host.

When I do reviews theyre usually not good, but in this case if I could give this place 10 s I would. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, fun and cute. My friend and I got their early but we were so comfortable just waiting and watching trying to learn what to do. We will most definitely be back

Had a great time! Very polite instructor. They weren’t very busy, I’m assuming because of the snow, so they let us stay a little longer than the hour we paid for. We were able to bring in our food (birthday cake), that a plus.

Our church small group decided to do this (group of 10+) for an outing, and we had a blast! Hunter was our trainer and he was really helpful with teaching us how to throw, encouraging us, and making the evening fun. Would definitely recommend Civil Axe Throwing - we will be back!

Fantastic and satisfying experience. We set up an event for our office on site and it was fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful and the instruction was top notch. We were landing solid hits within 15 minutes of instruction. Kris was our instructor and she was great and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. 10/10 will visit again

I had an afternoon to myself, so I decided to give this a go. The price was very reasonable and the instructor was great! I had great fun throwing an axe and had surprising success. Everyone was friendly, even the folks in the lane next to me.

Had a great experience at Civil Axe Throwing! We had a group of 4 which allowed everyone ample time to throw the axes - any more people would have cut down on the time each person had, sort of like bowling with a time limit vs a game limit. Randy was super helpful and knowledgeable about technique, and was able to give small tips to our throughout the hour, all while working with 3 other groups. Definitely a good time with friends!It is BYOB too!

We were a very large group. Had the whole place and Chris and Randy were amazing!!! We had people who hadnt ever thrown and some that had. After a quick intro they broke the group up and helped the ones who needed it more. We all had so much fun and I know well all be back. Excellent experience. The staff is super helpful and spends a lot of time setting you up and then troubleshooting your throws to help you stick the axe. They have three sets of two lanes that can handle 8 people per set. The weekdays are usually fairly light but Friday and Saturday get booked early. I recommend setting up your reservation ahead of time to ensure you get a spot. They have leagues too. Similar scoring style to darts. We had a group of 4 and had a blast. They started us out with a 2 handed axe, once we got the hang of that they showed us the 1 handed technique. Before we knew it our hour was up. You will not be dissapointed.

Come here to throw axes at wood. Thats pretty much the gist. Picture throwing darts, only with an axe. There was a few minutes of instruction, followed by just a plain ol primal activity. Highly recommend. Beware, the hour go fast! Its all at your own pace, so throw as frequently as youd like or take your time.
