Not very many people. Felt safe to stay, watch a movie, and eat popcorn. They should check to see if people are sitting in right seats. There was someone sitting in seats that were not supposed to be open.

AMC 18 (forever called the Rave by locals) is currently doing an outstanding job of keeping the inside clean. Its open with limited seating, fewer shows and mask requirements. Negatives are reduced options at concessions and closed caption devices are often buggy.

I had a pretty good experience at the movie theater here. I was disappointed in the fact that they werent doing refills on popcorn or drinks and while they said it was for covid I wasnt happy. They good have given fresh cups or something, especially for the prices.

The smaller theaters have seats that lean back but they are not full recliners. Screens and sound are good quality. Plenty of parking. Clean theaters and restrooms.

Its definitely weird being at the movie theater but the staff is doing a great job of making the theater clean and safe. Theres no refills on popcorn or the drinks so, its expensive to go on a empty stomach!

Out of all the movie theaters in Chattanooga, I like coming to this one the best. Its very clean and very big. On Tuesdays the tickets are only $5 and if you come early in the day, there is plenty of seating and no wait line at the concession stand. The prices at the concession stand are a bit overpriced but all movie theaters are pretty much that way.

People can reserve the best seats online but then show up late? Seating chart wont tell you theres a metal railing obstructing your view. NOISY snacks! Im not paying to listen to someone rattle a candy bag for 2hrs.

Several showing rooms inside. The one I was in was showing Midway and I was pleased with the sound system. Seats were comfortable, rocking with cup holders. Lobby sold the usual food. Soft drinks were dispensed from automated machine with touchscreen. Service was friendly, a nice place for bringing the family.

Nice theater. Seats where comfortable. Snacks were usual price. Overall pretty clean place. Joined AMC member program to get perks including snack discounts. Will definitely go back.

Everyones very helpful The popcorn was terrible and the prices were unreal and then halfway through the movie they decided to turn the air conditioning on we about froze to death but I think for a birthday party that this was a very good deal

One of the NASTIEST experiences I have ever had in a movie theater , people vaping stomping around , will not EVER go-to another AMC again and would suggest no one EVER go there . Give your monies to Carmike instead

Nice big theater but it seems to have gone downhill a little. I dont like that they no longer show the movies on the digital signs at each theater entrance. Theyve just built a new bar that looks nice but seems very out of place. And the bathrooms are pretty horrible overall. Hopefully, they are going to renovate to match their new marble bar.

I worked here for two years between the Rave and Carmike shift, and while Carmike ran this beautiful theater into the ground...when AMC took over they brought it back in all its glory. They were installing a bar, and last I heard it had finished. They are truly reaching for the stars, and are doing quite well. Still one of my favorite theaters to catch a movie.

The only problem I have is the new seating arrangements. Last I was here someone else was in our seats. Im not about to argue with a person over a seat at the movies. Why cant we just sit where we want like its always been? This aint the Grammys!!!

Years ago, when this place was the beloved Carmike (Rest in peace), my friend took me here to for my first movie theatre experience, however I remember not the film. Though it has a new face and ownership, AMC Chatt 18 carries on the familiar homey feel for me. A reprieve from the weeks rigors dissipates for a several hours. And I leave refreshed awaiting the next visit.

I love the AMC Chattanooga 18. Its where we go to watch all the new family movies. The stadium seating is amazing, you never have to worry about people sitting in front of you. I love the reserved seating as well. Their snacks are pricey but their popcorn is sooo good.

Been to this theatre several times. The lines for food were a little slow but not really much more than at any other theatre. The seats and auditorium were clean. I also didnt hear sounds from the next movie over which cant be said for all theatres I have been to. Overall, it was a great experience. On the outside, there is plenty of parking and a nice large entrance.

Bathroom smelled so strong of urine tonight. Very unclean, and then makes me wander about the dark lit theater. The buying of certain seats is a ridiculous idea and the reason I will not be back...No ushers to make sure you are in the right seat,,,,just an overall bad idea and the only place I have been too recently that even did this.....pick another place.....

Its usually clean and the staff is friendly. I miss it being called the Rave but I cant be mad that AMC bought it thy bought just about every theatre. Is what it is the rooms are fairly big and seats are comfortable and have handicap seats and wheelchair access

Comfortable chairs. The previews start at the movie time so if you are 15 minutes late you wont miss the movie. Excited construction for an adult beverage bar is in progress!

Its my go to movie spot. Lots of theaters big and small, pretty clean, multiple options of movie times, as well as 3D options. The staff are really nice.

Clean facility and friendly front end staff but management could use some work.. a manager was extremely rude and degrading to me as I waited in the lobby after exiting a movie. He was very harsh and unprofessional. Im not sure that Ill be back to this facility after this experience.

IMAX is the best with elevator access to the top rows. Its the brightest and clearest screen. The staff is always nice

AMC theater described their seated chairs as reclining chairs. Unfortunately they are not. The amc theater is a nice theater. But not as comfortable as they advertised to be unfortunately.RespectfullyDia

Maybe Im spoiled. At Huntsville theaters Ive gotten used to reclining seats and far more comfort. Im not a large woman but I felt crammed in my seat. The theater was clean though, open and nice looking.

Cleanliness 7/10 Employee attitude 8/10 The only confusing thing is that this theater offers reserved seating which is better because you choose where you want to sit beforehand. However reserved seating here doesnt really mean too much. Folks sit where they want which is ok if the theater is not too full. But if people want to sit in a particular location and reserve their seat online, this should be honored. We had a guy who was in our reserved seats and he acted as if it wasnt a big deal.

Great theater, but man it is gross and dirty these days. The last two times I’ve been the theater was obviously not cleaned between showings- old drinks in the cup holders and popcorn all over the floor.

Frozen 2 was Awesome in IMAX. It was wrong of the employee who stopped the movie during the song at the credits. Many people enjoy that part too. Hey I paid for it! But yes, the theatre is very nice.

-Bathrooms Reeked of pee and very very nasty-waited for 20 minutes for concessions-there was no monitoring of seats, people were in our assigned seats we purchased-rude concession worker when getting refill of popcorn-way under staffed

Its a very nice movie theater. Like all theaters the popcorn and food is way overpriced. What annoys me is that this theater is really the Rave but for some unknown reason the new owners saw fit to change the name.

The Imax is AMAZING! Youll definitely want to see big new releases in here.They also have the smaller independent films here, which is great cause they can be hard to find showings for.

This is a good theatre. Bathrooms are almost always clean and the renovations are solid. Id much rather go here than the one downtown.

Havent been to the theater in at least 10 years. $8 for popcorn and $5 for a bottle of water?At least the seat was comfy

We liked the theater

Recently I went to AMC Chattanooga 18 to watch the new Avengers. I’ve been to this theater before, and this time was just as nice as the others. While purchasing our tickets, the employees were kind and accommodating. The prices were typical of a large theater. The seats were comfortable and clean and the screen had great quality. I always enjoy myself when I come to this theater.

Of the options available for movie theaters in the area I prefer going here for most cases. Comfortable seats, high demand movies tend to be reserved seating. Ive personally had better luck here with pop corn as well.

I’ve enjoyed this theater for the past few months. I do wish that they would upgrade the seats to recliners, and improve the sound quality in the imax theater. Having a big screen is great, but I need those side speakers. The place has been super clean and the staff is very friendly.The only hiccup was deleting the last Star Wars movie off the server on opening night. But they apologized and gave refunds and extra tickets. This is the theater I plan on going to for a long time, I just hope they invest in a few quality of life improvements.

Theater wasnt cleaned after the previous movie let out. I had to go find someone to clean up the seats we reserved. Popcorn and drinks as well as candy boxes still in seats and floor. Wont be going back to that theater

The floor isnt sticky. This may be the best compliment I can give a theater. Sound and lighting is good, and seats are comfortable. I would complain about prices, but thats just the fact of cinema anymore. I enjoy coming to this theater and would recommend it.

Went to go see a movie that was rated “R” there were younger kids in there being loud and annoying on their phones and yelling. I left and told someone upfront that they were being disturbing they said they would handle it and never did. Throughout the movie they FaceTimed people had their notifications on and flashlights on. I informed the lady and officer up front and still nothing happened. Worst experience ever!

By far the worst experience I’ve EVER had in ANY theater. First, as soon as I walked in the door with my tickets, the girl that takes the tickets is too busy with her phone conversation to take our tickets and direct us to where our movie is. Secondly, we get drinks and popcorn and the guy is rude as heck. Third, I get a mixed drink and the people that are bartending act like they’ve never mixed a drink before and put a whole glass of lemon juice instead of lemonade...then lastly in this theater you pick your seat to purchase, people were sitting wherever they wanted and in the seats I purchased. This place is horrible!!! I recommend that you go to ANY theater but this one. I’m a AMC member and have been for years, if all of the amc theaters were like this one, I wouldn’t go to amc at all. I never will come back to this theater. Do yourself a favor and go to another theater so you can have a pleasant night!

Not my favorite cinema in Chattanooga but was good, theater was clean and everyone was friendly

The seats were all leather and very comfy and cushiony. They leaned back and rocked. Made the movie experience very comfortable.. Plus if you register your name and phone number with them you get special discounts especially on Tuesdays very cool.

I liked that the armrests lift so that my gf and i can cuddle during the movie. Thats about where the satisfaction ends. The location was severely understaffed for a Saturday. There was only one employee at the ticket counter, so the line was backed up to the doors. Once you finally obtained your tickets, the concession line was completely backed up because there were only 2 employees at the counter. I came back 30 min later and the line was only a dozen customers shorter. Needless to say, we never got refreshments. Wont be going back to this location anytime soon.

Was very great. The service was fast and friendly. Going at night to watch later showings seems to be the ideal time for viewing. Everything was quickly and accurate on our orders.

Usually not a bad theater, but I must say being an almost 30yr old covered in tattoos and piercings the cashier IDd me cause oh, I looked under 18 like WTF!!!!! to see a cartoon with my 4yr old daughter none the less

Very clean! This weekend we went and saw Us and it was actually pretty good. The staff was nice and obtaining tickets was super easy on the touch screen machine at the entrance. The seats kinda recline and theyre super comfortable. Id suggest dropping by sometime!

New seats are great, adding in a bar, the signs at each theater did not display what was showing. That was annoying. Overall though I really like whats happening

I go to a lot of theaters and going to this one felt different in a good way! I enjoyed myself and the movie! 10/10 to both the theater and the movie!

We got carded for a PG-13 movie, and a friend had to run grab their ID from the car. The cashier wouldnt let me purchase a third ticket for my friend, but let me purchase a second ticket with no questions asked. Were a group of college students who obviously arent 13. And even then, what 13 year old would have an ID anyways?

Fandango had an issue but the ticket taker allowed my family to go in while I restarted my phone and logged into the website. Top notch service. We saw toy story 4 at 2:05.

Ticket line moved fast. Concessions has a wide range of food and drinks. Elevator! Being disabled and on a cane, I found the elevator to be a nice addition. Reclining, rocking seats are comfortable enough for longer movies.

IMAX was awesome. The seats are dated, but comfortable. The sound was good, but needed more bass.

Went to go see Bohemian Rhapsody for the second time with my best friend!! Best theater Ive been to in a while!! The only problem I had was this: we had paid for the sing-along version, but there were no lyrics on the screen so we all were just confused about that part. It was still pretty magical. Still wish there were lyrics as promised!

As you know by now AMC is my favorite Theaters AND Im an A- lister! 3 movies a week no blackout for 3D,Imax,or Dolby theatre! They had my favorite Icee flavor ! Mango!

Simply stated, this place is filthy. It hasnt always been this way but over time, priorities have changed. The standing puddles of water in the mens room was the final straw for me. Save yourself some misery and go to another theater.

It was clean, well maimtained, had wonderful employees that were kind, and the seats were pretty comfortable.

This theater is good. Topically seeing movies here is a good experience. I have had some experiences where movies were projected too dark, or audio was too quiet. But is mostly been great.

The bathrooms were filthy. There was, what looked like an extra concession stand that wasn’t in use and there was some drink or something spilled on the counter of it that looked like it had been there for a long time because the puddle was all sticky. The screen where we watched our movie was messed up and kept having green fuzzy lines all thru it. The only good thing about it was that my husband and I were the only two ppl in that particular theater and we got to watch the movie by ourselves.

Large theatre - not enough staff. Bought tickets at the concession stand. But it was fairly fast, and the theatre was nice with comfortable rocking seats.

So me and my friend went to watch endgame and it cut out more or less the end of the movie and the amazing before black screen credits. If you do like this theater then do not sit in 16 it has made my experience so bad I may never come again.

I love this theater. The lady greeting my party at the entrance was the most kind and helpful employee i have ever encountered at a theater. And she really knew her movies. Imagine someone who actually loves the work they do and the service they offer. At least that is what it seemed to me. I was impressed with the concessions here and its multiple convenient self serve drink stations. Thanks for making it a pleasurable experience.

I will not be going back there again! The movie was great but $12 for two medium cokes and $9 for popcorn! And thats after paying $12 a piece for me and my 10yr son! Its insane at their prices!

I like what they offer (snacks, 3-D, digital), but lately every time we go there, no matter what time of the day, the place is very dirty with trash and popcorn everywhere. They need an employee dedicated to just walking around and taking care of that. Theyre are times Ill go to a theater farther away just because I know it will be cleaner and therefore more enjoyable.

Tonight our auditorium was SO hot. There werent many people in the showing, but several behind us were complaining. A man left to tell someone.. Came back and said a boy was taking care of it. Nothing happened. My friend went next and asked for a manager. She was gone for a while, only to come back and say no one ever came back to talk to her. Apparently at a certain time, regardless if a movie is still playing, they leave. The movie ended a little after 11:30pm and we were going to speak to a manager. The front of my blouse was wet with sweat! NO ONE who worked there was in sight! We waited in the lobby for 20 minutes and not a soul from AMC around. Very unprofessional. Sounds crazy, but it was literally hard to focus, it was so hot. And a very easy fix! Sad a simple problem couldnt be handled within a 90 minute span...

Melificent was a very good movie. The AMC is always a comfortable place to go.

If your going for comfort these seats arent it.

Good screens. The seats in the IMAX are nice. Need to up date the other theaters. Being able to choose your ticket at the time of purchase is the best thing ever. Also Coke Freestyle

Very disappointed. Called before driving thirty minutes to pre purchase tickets for the special showing of Christmas Jars for tomorrow. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone said it would be fine to use my gift tickets to purchase tickets. There were still seats available. When I drove 30 minutes to get the tickets I was told by the manager that I was given misinformation. Nothing they could do for me. That is very poor customer service. I left with no tickets.

Good food and decent service. Never have a problem with any of the staff. Great location.

Now at this theater you pick your own seats. No one in the theater to enforce sit selection. The last time we went someone was in our seats, to avoid a confrontation we sat in other sits. Apparently they didnt belong to anyone. This will be an issue for someone in the future. We now go to Northgate AMC. We liked this theater prior to this change.

Only AMC in Chattanooga that I know of that has the priority lines for Stub members. Just put in reserved seats in all their rooms. It’s always a great feeling to know you have your seat saved even if you are running a little late. Staff is always kind and helpful.

We were watching Star Wars, The Rise of Skywalker, and almost half way thru the movie the entire theater went dark. The power went out and shut down everything. Not sure what caused this to happen because the stores around the theatre had power and it wasnt storming. However, they did give everyone a voucher to come back to any AMC to see any movie at another time. So overall, it was a little disappointing but we will go back.

I love going to the movies. AMC 18 or as others in Chattanooga still call it The Rave is a good place to see a show. The concession stand serves all the typical stuff popcorn, candy, coke products. I like the fact you can put your own butter on your popcorn, of course i use too much. The best part about the theater is clean seats and clean floors. I will go to AMC Chattanooga 18 again.

I do not like the new changes they have made. They no longer have the names of the movies in front of the theaters. If youre upstairs and you go to the bathroom downstairs you better remember what theater youre in. I got turned around and without the names I went into 2 wrong theaters. It made me mad. They run out of sodas way to fast too. Theres no one here that can seem to manage to know how to fix it either. Half the sinks dont work in the bathrooms. A lot are dirty and out of soap too. Now they no longer offer refills on popcorn unless youre a stubs member. Not impressed with the changes at all
