What a great experience! I was looking for something interesting to do with my mom and found The Glass Palette online. We drove to Charlottesville and ended up spending a good part of the day here. You choose something to make, design it, then they ship it to you after it has been molded. Mine arrived about a week later.

Discovered this place when looking for things to do when my cousin came to town for a visit. We had a great time, and everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. This is a great way to spend some creative time, and the cost is very reasonable with lots of different sizes and shapes of things to make, with endless possibilities of how to decorate them. I cant wait to pick up my finished piece in a few days, and will absolutely be back soon!

This place is a ton of fun! Definitely come between the hours of noon and 2pm because it closes at 6pm and you want plenty of time to make your artwork. I was surprised that my sister and I took over 3 hours to finish an origami bowl and 4 coasters! If youre local, they will mail you your creations for a small extra fee. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there while on vacation!

Absolutely loved this place. Came here with my wife, the ladies working were super friendly, they tell you what you need to know and let you work. They are close by and happy to answer any questions you may have. We even got a hug from one of the ladies working there when we left. Cant wait to see our finished projects next week.

What a fun activity. Great sense of accomplishment when I was done. I am not a skilled artist by any means, but Ill be proud to put my piece in my house! It took a bit longer than we planned, but the ladies helping are terrific. I went with one friend, but it seems like it would be great for a ladies night or kids birthday.

My son and I were on vacation when we decided to stop in as we were driving through the town. The owners greeted us at the door, had a friendly conversation with us , and then showed us the different projects that we could do. As we sat and waited for them to bring the glass over they explained how to cut the glass, and had another friendly conversation. They made sure they checked that we had all the materials needed. As I worked on my frame ,my son was still trying to figure out what he was going to make. It took him a little bit but when he finally figured it out, he came up with a picture of the 4 seasons on his candle holder. He did a terrific job on it. and they both turned out beautifully. If you are driving through look it up and definitely try it out. Your imagination can go simple or crazy as you figure out what you want to do on it. HANDS UP TO THE BEAUTIFUL LADIES THAT RUN THIS STORE. FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGABLE, REASONABLY PRICED, AND VERY COMPASSATE ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS. Thank you for a great memory on my Mothers Day road trip given to me by my son. Thanks son. And thank you ladies for a great time.

What an amazing place! My son and I drove from Suffolk, VA, just to go to the glass palette. The ladies there were wonderful, and the experience was so unique. My son and I both love art, and any chance to make our own is welcomed. You can spend a very small amount of money or a larger amount of money, so cost is in your own hands. And they will mail you your pieces if you dont live nearby! I encourage anyone who is thinking of going there to go for it. You will not be disappointed. The hardest part is waiting to get your finished pieces. I know they will look great and the ones we made for other people will be such unique, personal gifts! Thanks so much to the owners for having a place like this for us to enjoy!!

My wife and I took a glass fusing class and were very pleased with the quality and wealth of information they provided. The owners taught the class. They were patient with all the questions and mistakes. It was a very pleasant and informative experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone of all skill levels.

This was the BEST afternoon we spent on our vacation! My father, who hates most crafty things had a great time and we are headed back tomorrow to make another piece! The owner was kind, helpful and answered EVERY question we had :) The glass was a GREAT price and I only WISH we had this studio in my home town

Unbelievable. Stopped in while visiting relatives to buy a small piece of glass to finish a project. Was quoted $10/square foot for single glue chip by the store owner no less! This was after the first person I spoke to had no idea what glue chip was. Went back to my normal supplier and bought it for $1.59/square foot. Yes, one dollar and fifty nine cents for the exact same glass, with no shipping charge. Clearly this outfit did not want my business. Cannot in any way recommend them and will NEVER go back.

I have two kids under two who obviously werent going to be making anything with the glass but the owner was very kind and set them up with crayons and coloring books. Very relaxing time. Only thing I didnt like about it is that the parking lot is in the back of the building and its pretty run down and sketchy back there.
