Really amazing Small museum, for a small university town. Solid permanent collection of its own. Especially in ancient and tribal art. And Stunningly well curated shows! A real nestled jewel in our community.

A small museum but not an interesting place to spend some time to look around. There are several artworks on 2/f to depict the social movement in the US which I enjoyed the most.

What an amazing and important exhibition. I was impressed with the work and the audio portion of this show.

High quality permanent collection (in main lobby) with two strong exhibitions upstairs (as of December 2019). Small gems throughout. Good curation for its size. Nice building.

Nice place to visit

Trying to get to the Fralin at least once every time they have a new exhibit - special events for kids and families are great.

It provides very thoughtful educational program for children. I really love this fantastic museum!

The exhibits are consistently well thought out and interesting. Whenever I am in town, it is always worth stopping by.

Excellent staff and exhibitions. The building is a little on the small side for an art museum, but it makes up for it in character and old school class

The Pompeii exhibit was great. Friendly staff and very thankful for the extended hours on Thursday for those of us who work during the day!

Limited parking. Staff was helpful. Interesting and Beautiful Exhibits.

Family friendly. Handicap accessible. Changes exhibits pretty frequently and all FREE.

Doesnt have as much to see but its a nice, quiet place here in town to enjoy

Underappreciated

This is a small university museum with a surprisingly nice collection! Free entry. You can walk through the whole museum in less than an hour.

Have been several times but last couple have been disappointing because most of the gallery was closed off for renovations. Check the website or call before you go. Hopefully it will be fully operational for my next visit. Was really impressed by the variety of exhibits when they are.

The museum is very well-run and organized. The placards by each art piece are detailed and helpful. Overall its a lovely museum, just not very big, so theres not a whole lot to see. The rotating exhibits are cool, though!
