About Friday Night!!!! Yay!!In short... an excellent adult experience. Go out and have a great time!The long... it was my Husband’s birthday and I reserved a VIP space for him. I worked with Vinny who was absolutely wonderful!He was so nice and greeted us when he introduced himself. He checked on us all night. He was very respectful and made me feel good about being there.This was my first time going to the Press Box. I would definitely recommend trying it out. The drinks were great and the food was great and the music was great!!!The environment felt safe. The security did check us at the door, but he was very respectful about it. Everyone in my party enjoyed themselves.

Went to hang out with friends to shoot some pool. They have a lot of tables. Loved the atmosphere. Drink specials are great. Food was okay. Had the chicken wings. (I should have asked for them to be Friday extra crispy). Had a great time! Great location.

I’ve been going to PressBox every Wednesday night for about a Year now. There’s karaoke every Wednesday night, come out and Have an amazing time. If you have a talent this is a Great way to promote yourself. The Staff is always friendly and professional.

A nice place to hang out with friends on a Friday night, play pool, have a few drinks and wind down. Havent tried the food and DJs are cool. Older crowd which is always an awesome vibe. Just wish we could add a little of todays music in the mix.

Never went to a bar and grill and had to pay ten dollars to get in then had to go to the bar to order my food because I never got a server then had to go to the bar to get my food and they charged me 15 percent on my bill if I knee that wouldnt have tip her as 11 dollars

I paid a dollar to become a member, before they told me it was $15 to get in because someone (I didnt know) was having a birthday party, service was slow, bartenders were more concerned with their cell phones than serving drinks, at the time I was there it wasnt that busy that I had to wait, shots were over priced, under poured and came with an automatic 12% gratuity each....... ummmmm no. If I could give no stars I would. I was on the fence about going in the first place because my first experience a year ago was bad. No more worries going forward....... Pass this place over.

Look! It was my first time here! I have to say they need more servers, bc the one they had with the red hair was ALL over the place, but she held It down! But then again I’m In business and It has to be a business need! I enjoyed the food and the drinks! Press box was a great place to visit. The only thing that I didnt like is that the waitress there seem like they would take tips from you without even asking. Other than that the DJ was excellent he played music from old School to new school which made everyone happy in the place. The people were friendly and I had a great time there. Also keep in mind that you do have to have membership there. However it only cost a dollar to join. Once you do you dont have to get membership again.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon at 5:30pm to play pool with my son. Apparently you have to be 21 or over just to get in the door now. Not a good place to spend a little time with your teenage son on the tables.My initial review was 5 star because we visited here before and had a good time.

Always a great crowd however last night they had a stage performance with a Michael Jackson impersonator. I didnt care for this show at all. It took away from the lively atmosphere and good music.

Music is always good, food and drinks are decent. Not the most fanciest spot but always a great time. The dance floor stays packed. Good vibes. One negative- the female bartender by the entrance is rude; tends to ignore female patrons a bit. Its ok the bartenders in the back make up for her behavior.

First time. Unfortunately I didnt look closely at my receipt until the next day. They added an automatic 18% gratuity to my BAR bill. No food. So the $5 bill I left as a tip was just icing on the cake for the bartender I guess.When a place feels the need to tack on a gratuity it makes me wonder for a few reasons. Does the usual clientele not tip? And 18% is greedy. Wont be back.

My cousin and I was very, very disappointed! We brought 2 $30 tickets to celebrate the New Year once we got inside and we showed them our online tickets the tried to charge us $2 a piece extra for a cover charge! Security had us to speak to someone we guess was incharge we didnt have to pay but then once we decided to find a place to seat a waitress told us that we were in VIP seating and it would cost us $300 to seat we explain to the waitress about out $66 tickets she left seconds later security came and told us we had to seat somewhereSo my question to Press Box Bar & Grill is this how you guys do? I mean what was the online $66 for? Because we brought drinks as well. We were so disappointed. We travelled 30mins. for what? to be taked for our money?

This was a great place to enjoy my Birthday with my sister and friends. It was cool yet the drinks were so good I couldnt finish it. The bathroom attendant is a great lady and they need to treat her better than they do. Other then that my time there was fun and Ill go back soon.

Great car meet up. Awesome antiques and restorations, dime a dozen mustangs and bimmers. Will wait for the Speedway meet up next time. Too congested of a venue.

Love is...right on cue! My man and I love coming to The Press Box to play pool together. Its very relaxing and the music is just right. Everyone who works there are very friendly. They have a smoking area outside. The food is very tasty and the bartenders know how to make drinks. I love the older crowd. Just a FYI to play pool they require to hold a ID and credit card. From my experience its always an older crowd, the crowd is very respectful, no issues and no fights. A very calm and fun environment.

This place was amazing club. It was crowded, great vibes. We had a birthday party here and the waitress were on point. They were fast and accurate. This place also has pool tables on the other side of the club.

It was my first time visiting this place. The staff was friendly and the food and entertainment was great I will be coming back.

Absolutely disrespectful people. I went to celebrate my 21st birthday with a party of four and was TOLD it was 18+ but we had to sign up to be members. When we went to sign up they switched up and said everyone had to be 21+ . We asked a question a simple question and was told to leave. I am absolutely disgusted with this service and I JUST move to NC. I will NEVER return.

They will say they need a debit card for pool games saying they dont accept cash but can pay cash for drinks and food ...my card was on file and I checked my account the next day $31 was the amount..mind you the bar tender told me they needed a debit card on file but it will not get charged...I know I paid for my drinks and a pool game in cash ..so where did the $31 bucks came from? Obviously I got took for a ride ... Im an out of towner so I wont be going back there again...and when I tried calling them no answer after multiple times...

I’ve been calling for a few days trying to get through to someone about reserving and getting a vip table and I haven’t even been able to get anyone on the line.

Relaxing spot..

I paid for skip the line tickets online for a event and when I got there it wasnt a skip line! It was 2 types of tickets sold. One was for general admission you just had your guaranteed ticket to get in the other was skip the line which cost a little more. As I was standing in line I asked the person in front of me wonder what was going on why we were waiting she proceeds to tell me she bought a regular ticket for $20 and I paid $40 but we were in the same line and ended up getting in 31st the same time after about a 30 minute wait in line. Next time (if there is one) Ill just buy a regular ticket because that was a joke about the skip line.

Pool side is cool. Food is good. Only 2 single bathrooms and the dance area is always over packed.

Went here for a night out with my best friend and brother. We had lots of fun and time flew pass. We did order some drinks that weren’t to pricey but I did not get a chance to order their food. I have not went back since that night but I am going to try it out in the day time to see how the restaurant is.

Worst mistake Ive made in Charlotte... Overpriced, forced gratuity, horrible service, unfriendly... Oh, they basically stole from me by putting someone else bill on my credit card! 3 weeks of trying to contact the management, now I have to go dispute it with my bank. If you are willing to even visit this place. Dont, I repeat, dont give them you credit card! Although, I dont know why anyone would go there after the experience I had!

It was a pretty cool place went with my wife and two of her cool work associates. Price and decor looked good. Hole in the wall ish about with a lot of space.A portion of the place is pool which you have to rent out but the prices are reasonable. Also the age group is diverse so you got your old heads and young people coming out at midnight too. Would go back again.

The drinks are over priced and the music choice of sounds seems to be much better when you listen on radio before 11pm when they want you there. The dj was not happening this night and thats unfortunate for me cause I had a better expectation in my imagination than what really was.

If you haven’t been here you are missing out, this the best grown and sexy spot in the city. Everyday is a party, if you don’t like that te chef Johnny makes some of the best dishes. The wings are to die for. Bartender jazz has been there for as long as I can remember, and is still the best. Her conversational skill is unmatched. They also have pool table and weekly tournaments for all skill groups and teams as well.

We had a ball. You have plenty of room to move around, which is rare. The live go go band had the place rocking. I definitely will be back.

Bought a $1 membership card upon entering, no big deal. (Im mentioning that we bought a membership because a previous reviewer commented on the auto gratuity and Press Box replied saying something about having to be a member). They have limited beer options, and when someone tried to order an OMB Copper the server came back and said the closest thing was an Angry Orchard (not even a beer so not sure who gave them that info). Menus are paper tri-folds printed out with random Xs and food marked out. All menus had different markings, so hard to tell what they actually had. Stayed for one round of drinks and left. Auto gratuity was added to the receipt that we didnt notice so the server got extra.

I came on Biggie day and the music was trash, they didn’t play biggie songs all the way through and the drinks were trash as well. Charged me $7 for $2 worth of juice and liquor! I will NEVER come back to this establishment! And it was hot as hell!
