We put in a request for a reciprocal reservation and were put in waitlist. We received a very nice call and were at the top of the list. When we arrived everyone was very nice and attentive to the precautions and our needs. Boat was clean and when we finished the staff again was quick and nice. Everyone we came across was pleasant and wished us well. Great job!

Prompt and courteous. The training that is provided is second to none and had made me more confident in my boating skills. Clean and NEW boats all the time. Would recommend to anyone!

Freedom boat club at lake Wylie has been great!!! They do whatever they can to get you availability on a boat, dock staff is nice and super helpful. They are very organized and have taken great safety measures when dealing with COVID that we are very appreciative of.

I appreciate the availability of new boats, personable and friendly staff, and the quick response time of the dock manager and club owner to inquiries. Thank you for helping make a difficult time much better.

I cannot say enough good things about Jeff and the maintenance team at Pier 49. Im a new boat owner of an older 2001 Maxium used boat. Im an engineer and pretty solid car mechanic -- but boats are new to me. When I have had maintenance questions Jeff and team have always been extremely helpful, honest, and transparent. When appropriate, recommending low cost ways to work through issues at home vs. coming in for repairs. I really respect this type of service where they work with you vs. always trying to get the boat in for service. They have my trust and I will continue to come back for ongoing maintenance. This is the way all service shops should run.

That was the best lake house I hve ever lived in in my life

I was trying to review the boat repair part of this business, however, could not find anywhere else to post a google review. We took our boat in for a valve job and some other mechanical work. After 5 days of no one getting back to us regarding an estimate, and obviously not even looking inside the engine compartment, we had to call to find out what was going on . Tony told us that his guy told him we needed a new lower end for $4000.00. Now, I asked Tony, how can you tell me what the boat needs, when you havent even opened it up and turned a single wrench. He said his guy told him that is what we would need based on the problems and concerns we had. I again said, $4000.00 is a big ask when nothing has even been looked at yet. They also told us that they do not do valve jobs, unless you buy a new lower end. With all of this sounding very unprofessional to me, we took our boat to another mechanic, who immediately diagnosed our problem as needing everything BUT a new lower end. Sucked a valve, 2 cracked heads, riser and exhaust manifolds needed replaced due to being cracked, but SURPRISE....nothing wrong with the short block. We would have spent $4000. on a new short block for NOTHING...and still needed all that other work to repair properly. I, in good conscious cannot recommend any mechanical business that tells you to spend lots of money on something they have not even taken 5 min to look at. PLEASE beware of this type of business practice and deception.

Most places where telling me they were 2 plus weeks to get my Supra repaired, but Pier 49 got it fixed same week. I had it out running great on the lake by the next weekend in the middle of July!
