I have been going to Maeve for several months now and she is amazing with hair, not only with cuts but color as well I wont go to anyone else anymore and I highly recommend her to all my friends and family! She always listens and works her best to make my experience great every time I go.

I could write an epic novel about the day of my hair disaster that led me to the wondrous, phenomenal place that is Hair Klaudt and the dazzling and gifted Megan Amberly. I spent four hours at another salon (I was the first appointment and the stylist was 30 minutes late). I was supposed to be going from my natural medium brown to ash blonde. My hair lifts really quickly so, in the past, the process has taken between 90 minutes to two hours in seat to out the the door. I was in there for over four hours and when I left, I had gone from medium brown to patchy blue and orange striped hair. Clown fish meets candy corn. The stripes themselves were extremely chunky with horizontal and diagonal stripes within, and starting at random places from the roots. Given what I do for a living, I needed this fixed pretty immediately (I also have zero free time and this was the one day I had gifted myself to do something decadent and fun). I scrambled to find a place known for their color correction. Within an hour of leaving the other salon (and I had done my due diligence on the front end too, so it was pretty shocking to me), I was at the doors of Hair Klaudt begging for someone to at least instruct me on what I could do on my own to temporarily mask the horror. Carl used the only free moments he had to sit with me, inspect the damage, and brain storm at-home solutions. And then Megan - bright, beautiful Megan, told me she would start the process of getting me to a place where I could be presentable. She spent the entire night laboring on the jigsaw puzzle that was my hair, almost strand by strand (and because the colors were blue and orange, a fix to one could make the other worse, so it was definitely unbelievably complicated. And It really was the ENTIRE night. It was close to midnight when I left. And she performed a miracle. She is a kind, talented, and dedicated artist!!!! Brilliant really!!!! I wish I had a time machine so that I could have started my day right with Megan but I’ve found her and the marvelous people at Hair Klaudt now. Fabulous, fabulous place!!!!!

My girl Heather knows what she’s doing. She even cut my boyfriends hair while mine was being colored. This place fuels the goth side of me and I absolutely love the decor. This is my spot and I can’t see myself going anywhere else!

Absolutely amazing hair salon. The stylists are extremely knowledgeable and are some of the friendliest people Ive done business with. The atmosphere cuts away from the dreary chic of normal salons. If youre looking to have a unique haircut that doesnt fall into a generic style, whether it be fashion colors or something flavorful, this is the place to go to.

Moved into town recently and needed a hairdresser. I had my haircut with Ashley, and I guarantee Ill be going back with her! She was so sweet, and gave me beautiful waves. I feel like a beautiful Rapunzel. Nice place and quirky atmosphere, definately 5 stars.

I worked with Megan and I am very pleased with my hair! I have really thick wavy/curly hair, and she did an amazing job and actually listened to what I wanted. I highly recommend working with Megan if you are not sure who to work with. You will be so happy with the outcome. This is the first time in years I am happy with the way my hair looks.

Karl has been cutting and coloring my hair for most of the last 30 years. I drive more than 160 miles because hes absolutely the best cutter Ive ever had. He continuously participates in educational leadership and self improvement courses in his industry. Hes an entrepreneur, supports local artist and other local small businesses, and my friend! I highly recommed him, his salon and coloring products. You will mot be disappointed!

I love Hair Klaudt! Ive been getting my hair cut and colored here for over two years. When I moved to another part of town, Id considered searching for a new stylist but I realized that its totally worth it to keep a gem like Karl than to deal with potential catastrophe elsewhere :) Their prices are extremely reasonable given the quality of the stylists.They carry top of the line products and know how to use them but dont try to push them on you each visit. Its a great atmosphere overall and I suggest them every time someone asks where they should go or when someone is asking where I get my hair cut (which is often because it looks so great!).Plus, their studio doubles as a super funky shop, selling vintage tshirts, fresh affordable artwork, and a great selection of unique pieces of jewelry and other accessories.
