Nice little hike with pretty flowers. Not too difficult or long. My daughter and I both enjoyed it. There is a box there for books where you can leave or pick one out.I wish there were bathroom facilities there but other than that no complaints. It was well kept and we had a good time.

It was an easy walk, nice gravel path with some off to the side small trails that lead back around to the main trail. It has stone benches to take a break on throughout. Also, one off path showed a beautiful of the Chase Bank and part of the surrounding area.

Beautiful little trail hidden across the river from downtown Charleston. The bottom lot entrance is right next to Bridge Rd at the light and can be hard to miss. Well-kept gravel trail is just over a mile round trip and has lots of tree coverage, so its perfect even on hot, sunny days (can make it a bit dark and creepy when its later in the day though). The hillsides are covered with daffodils in the springtime, and the trail is lined with honeysuckle!

Lovely greenspace in downtown Charleston, within walking distance of Bridge Road. Deer are frequently seen in the woods. Lovely gardens line parts of the path.

A winding footpath that connects South Hills to the Dickinson Street Bridge, the Sunrise Carriage trail offers a great view of Charlestons downtown at the top and a peaceful, gently sloped hike with benches and stepped cut-throughs. Parking is available both at the top and at the bottom of the trail.

Beautiful park and trail system just across the bridge from downtown Charleston. A real hidden gem just a short walk away from the downtown skyscrapers. Enjoy the history and the scenic nature walk all rolled into on short trip. Thank You to all the parties that helped preserve the historic carriage trail.
