This place was awesome! Puzzles werent too easy or too hard. Staff was nice. We played the random room. I has a really good time. I would definitely recommend!

Well laid out escape room. Played Ransom and there were at least 3 aaaahhhhh! Moments with well timed puzzles. Lots of fun and the staff was very friendly and but not too overly accommodating so as to keep the challengelevel up.

My boyfriend and I escaped from the Egyptian tomb and it was so much fun! This challenges your mind and is a great bonding experience. Perfect way to switch things up for date night or just do something different with your friends. Jenny was the best guide too, super sweet and helpful. Will definitely be back to try all the other rooms!

The Egyptian Tomb room was such a cool and unique experience. Not only did we have such a fun time, but our host did an excellent job of explaining to us the rules of the game and the layout of the room. Would highly recommend!

Jenny was awesome. We booked an escape room but got caught in traffic. She called and was sooo helpful with getting us into a different time. It was a breath of fresh air to receive such awesome customer service. I was kind of blown away, too be honest. With everything going on in the world, everyone has been so uptight. The escape room was awesome as well. Super immersive and challenging. Going to be coming back for sure very soon.

I was trying to find something fun to do in the Charleston area on a rainy day and stumbled across Escape in 60. So fun, and definitely worth an hour of your time. I highly recommend!

Our family did Davy Jones locker and had a blast. We escaped with 1 minute and 35 seconds to spare. I thought they had the room well decorated as well.

Fun except some of the props were a bit warped needed replacing all some of the puzzles were a bit unclear but fun when we solved them. the staff was very friendly and Helpful!!

It was my first time I have ever did an escape room and it was spectacular. The staff is super friendly and the room was so much fun. The deeper you got into the room and the more you dug yourself into the adventure the more hidden features and puzzles you’d find. I loved it! I will absolutely be back to complete the rest of their rooms.

This was a lot of fun while still being challenging. I took my 14yo son and were locked in with two others. It was a first time for all of us so we didn’t know what to expect. It was challenging and my son was able to help out some but we did end up escaping with a little time left on the clock after using all of our hints. Great fun though and I would definitely go again and try one of the other rooms!

I have done two rooms here and had a blast both times! One time I was with a group of friends and the other time I had just a couple friends but it was actually really awesome to work with the other people who joined our group! Everybody that Ive taken to the escape rooms are trying to plan a time when we can go again. Its super cool!

We had a fantastic experience! Our family chose to book “The Egyptian Chamber” room on the last night of our vacation. We had such a wonderful time, we decided to make it a must-do activity every time we come back to Charleston! The staff was friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to meet. The room was challenging and exciting with enough puzzles to keep you engaged and completely entertained! I highly recommend Escape in 60!

My wife and I did the Prison escape room. It was so well thought out. We had so much fun! This is the best one we’ve ever done. It really had the perfect combination of challenging clues yet excitement that encouraged you to keep going forward as quickly as possible. It was well worth it. One of the highlights of our trip to Charleston.

Ann was our hostess and she was phenomenal. We had a enjoyable time and really had a blast this evening.

I’ve done 2 of the rooms here and they were both great and I can’t wait to do the others! The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and very well designed and they’re priced well. If you’re coming to Charleston and you like puzzles, this is a must do!

We have done Escape in 60 twice. The first time we did it with our children and did the Davie Jones Locker and last night we went for my birthday with friend and did the prison escape. Both experiences were awesome and very well put together. It is crazy the detail that goes into each room and we will definitely continue to go back and do the other rooms. We highly recommend Escape in 60!

Went for a team building exercise and was delighted with the level of difficulty offered in the Davy Jones locker room. Polite and courteous staff. Wished we had little signs to hold for pics afterward though. Would go again. Everything is really automated and enjoyable.

Great experience, a must do on market street, you will only be disappointed if you fail to work together. Leave the Alpha types in the lobby, this is all about diverse perspectives.

The rooms were very nicely decorated. The people came through when my group was stressed and stuck. The clues and games were well planned out and the story lines were gory and made you feel more in the moment.

Had a great time in the Egyptian room. Challenging and fun. Escaped with 5 minutes remaining. Definitely recommend!

My two friends and I decided to do the Egyptian room, and it was very exciting in the beginning. The room itself was well decorated and well themed. I found it unique and liked the room overall. However, some of the hints weren’t helpful or we’d get a hint that we didn’t need (because we already figured it out). It was really frustrating towards the end because the hints weren’t as helpful and weren’t given as quickly as we needed them. We also had to smell for specific scents, and one of my friends was sick and couldn’t smell any of the scents. I think it should be posted in the description of the game that you’d have to smell for specific scents so people can be prepared.

This was the second time that Ive been to Escape in 60 and it was just as fun as the first (if not more fun). We had a company event with 25 people split up in the different rooms and had such a fun (and competitive) time bonding together.Im also so grateful that Escape in 60 opened early that day just for us. We would not have been able to attend due to other afternoon obligations but thankfully Escape in 60 went above and beyond and opened early so that we could.I will definitely be returning again to complete the other rooms. This place was my first time doing an escape room, my girlfriend and I did the Egypt room one day and returned a few days later to do the Ransom room. The puzzles were well thought out, challenging without being too difficult and the staff were really cool and friendly. Really nicely done all around. Id highly recommend it to anyone.

I have played dozens of escape rooms and while some may have had less impressive decor or were less creative than this one, none of them have left out a critical item in the room. And if they had, the game master would have been paying attention to realize that — and certainly wouldn’t have been flashing up clues on the screen for things we’d already solved. And, even if all those things had happened, they would have at least taken ownership of it. This is the experience we had in the Egypt room this week. The game master, and being no help during the 60 minutes when we were stating we’d already competed tasks and didn’t need those clues, did not apologize after the fact when we pointed out the item was missing and very nonchalantly said “well it was here before” (referring to the item). It wasn’t. It was nowhere to be found even then. We were stuck on the same puzzle the entire game — but even so, did end up solving everything else except that. Even before this experience, I do prefer the other escape companies one the Charleston area to this one due to better decor, puzzles, customer service/game masters, etc. but didn’t write a review because that was just my preference. I am writing one now, however, because we deserved better, and so do you. Skip this one. Not just because of this one bad experience, but because you have better options. If you need a recommendation, my favorite in the Charleston area is Derailed at Elite Escape Games in Mount Pleasant.

We did the Egyptian Chamber with a group of 7 (3 adults, 4 kids ages 7-12). For five of us, it was our first escape room experience. We all had so much fun! The clues were challenging and it definitely took some full teamwork and splitting up into smaller teams. We did manage to escape before we ran out of time but we had to use up all three bonus clues. We will definitely be back to do the other rooms! Highly recommended.

Escaped from Davy Jones! Weve done in excess of 30 escape rooms and this one had puzzles/solutions we hadnt seen before! Great fun! Pleasant staff. Easy to find location! If we lived in town, wed definitely be back to do the other rooms!

The best escape rooms in Charleston! I have done 3 of the rooms and all were amazing (and so much fun). Took my leadership group of high school students to do two of the rooms - Escape in 60 was accomodating and provided an amazing experience. Fun had by all! We will be back.

Our group of 8 childhood friends on a reunion trip did the Davy Jones Locker. It was very well done. Good puzzles. Well run. Clean. Friendly. No cheap tricks. Clever use of keypads for entering the answers. Everybody contributed. Very exciting to escape with just a few minutes left.

Great place for friends and family. We completed the Davy Jones experience and it was a blast. Lots of great riddles, puzzles, and clues and the room setup was interactive and fun. Better than other similar escape room experiences we have done.

We had so much fun doing the Ancient Egypt room! The puzzles were tough to solve, but not ridiculously tough or random.

Excellent rooms. Friendly staff. We did 3 of the 4 ransom was the best in our opinion. We also did the Egyptian and the jail rooms. highly recommend this place for your first time escape room challenge. Now we’re hooked.

We played the prison escape room and it was fun. I have played close to 50 games and I would say it ranks somewhere in the middle. We are on a trip and have seen some escape rooms in historical areas like this one. And I do have to wonder why the venues do not take advantage of the history and make a game themed towards that history. I think it could be pretty amazing. If I had any complaints about this room it would just be that the puzzles really had nothing to do with the theme. The puzzles in this game were based around a popular board game but had nothing to do with a prison escape. And there were multiple laminated sheets and things to work out and only one marker.We were in a mixed group and our teammates were fun and we all worked together well.All in all we had fun and the staff was very friendly. Rav and Sam made us feel welcome.

Had a wonderful experience today with Escape in 60! I came with two kids, aged 10-11, for their first experience with an Escape room. We were guided through the process by Ann and she made our experience special! She was very helpful when we were in a jam ;) and she really elevated our experience overall. Thank you Ann!!

Weve tried the Egyptian room and the pirate room and both were great! The room managers are fun and helpful, and the decor is spot on so you really get into character. We will be back for another one soon!

Great escape room! Me and my wife (and our kids, who werent with us on this trip) are escape room fans. When visiting Charleston on a vacation we decide to give the Davey Jones room a try. As there was only two of us, we werent expecting to escape, but went for the fun anyways. We escaped with over 10 minutes to spare! Yay us! The room that we did was well designed with some puzzle types that we hadnt come across previously. Our game master (Joe) was great. Definitely recommend this place!

Went here for a work related team building outing. I will be honest when I say that I initially though it would be cheesy and uninteresting. That quickly changed after the guide locked us in the room and with little to no direction, left us to simply figure it out. An hour later my opinion had completely changed and throughout dinner we all talked about what a great time we had as well as what aspects we found to be the most challenging. I would highly recommend Escape in 60 and look forward to being able to return in the future to try a different room.
