I’ve been to Trio time and time again over the years, and it’s only gotten better with each experience. I’ve spent New Years Eve’s there with my best friends, as well as casual Saturday nights out, and both experiences are just as fun with exceptional service and amazing music. If you want to have a more casual, low key night, the downstairs lounge and live music is perfect. If you want to get the full DJ club and dancing experience, the full effect upstairs never disappoints. They even have an outdoor patio, which is great for a quieter vibe to catch up and grab a drink with friends. The staff and owner put their all into Trio, and you can most certainly tell in the ways it’s improved year over year. Would highly recommend without hesitation!

This place is AMAZING! Beyond exceptional service. The owner, Eric is truly superb! Treated us like family! The place has three different levels/areas, so something for everyone. It’s super NEAT! The ambiance in the back area is more laid back, then downstairs there’s always some great music and upstairs is if you’re ready to PARRRRTYY!!! Gotta check it out if you’re ever in Charleston!

#takemetotrio is all i have to say! went for the first time last fall for my 23rd birthday and my friends and I had the times of our life. Bottle service was great, and the staff was even better. My friends and I were hammering green tea shots all night and ended the night with some nice Dom Perignon 2008 crystal champagne. 10/10 experience and I can’t wait to come back.

I recently went to Trio to try one of the night clubs recommended to me in the area for my vacation I was more then excited of the fun and music I was treated to. The drinks were magnificent Claire, was my bartender and she always went above and beyond to satisfy every need of drink I had never have I had such great attention and service in night club by any bartender or night club compared to here. I will be more happily going about going back on my next visit and recommend it to anybody and everybody to go!

Love Trio! One of the first places I was told to visit when I first moved here and Ive been going back ever since. Bartenders are great to talk to and became good friends with some of them there. Anna is wonderful and always has a smile on her face! Highly recommend checking this place out.

I’ve been going to Trio for the last couple years and it never disappoints. Whether it be the phenomenal service from the bartenders, or the delicious bar snacks, I always leave happy. Sunday is one of my favorite days to go for the awesome dj sets and outdoor patio. Aimee has been our bottle server multiple times, and she never fails to make sure we have the best night possible. I can’t wait to go this weekend!

Trio is definitely one of my favorite places downtown. The fact that there are two different vibes all within one bar makes it more appealing to stay all night! We have had so many positive experiences with the staff there as well. Specifically, Mercury is always extremely kind, friendly, and helpful any time we’re there! Would 100% recommend this place to anyone coming to visit Charleston looking for fun nightlife!

My experience at Trio has always been positive! I loved seeing The Midnight city band there play live, as well as some festive Tito’s events I’ve attended there. Never a dull moment! And Tessa is as always my favorite face to see while there :), prompt and great service.

From the minute we walked in the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They checked on us throughout the night to make sure we were taken care of. Very clean facility and great atmosphere with an upscale feel to it. The bathrooms were extremely clean as well!

Ever since I started going to trio, I havent wanted to go anywhere else. Trio really has outdone themselves with their new sound system and lights, staff, and amazing pool to have top level DJs perform. I would strongly recommend Trio to anyone who wants to enjoy their night.

Trio has been a fixture in the Charleston community since the 90s. Its great to see the improvements the new owner has made with he addition of the enhanced light show. New renovations are to the standard of any nightclub around the world. With a team flown in from Miami to do the production renovation, it is like no other the city has seen! Production on par with any big club around the world (built by iDeign out of Miami who has club builds on their resume to include the world famed E11even) it is definitely the place to go! With all the upstairs on the second level, downstairs boasts an open layout with more of a lounge feel with live music, and a huge patio out back! Truly something for everyone

Take Me To Trio - their tagline could not be more accurate. If you’re in Charleston, you will likely say this every weekend lol, and//or on random days of the week. They have sickkkk talent that comes through throughout the year. Loud Luxury played at Music Farm, then had a surprise after party at Trio which was insaneee because of the intimacy of the venue and it was ON A TUESDAY. I’ve met CID, Vicetone, Valentino Khan, to name only a few just from attending these shows. It’s the best night spot IMO, tables are well priced and their staff is so awesome and fun. When they don’t have shows, local talent shows up BIG and in my honest opinion, best place for music // to dance in Charleston. Trio is a place where you can go to have fun. The live music is amazing. The upstairs club always has different DJs and the lighting is upbeat. This is the best spot in town for live music and DJs! The owner brings in all the hottest DJs from around the globe which makes for a world class club experience upstairs. The lighting and sound system is top notch and will make you forget you’re in a small historic city in the south! And if that’s not your scene, you can hang out downstairs and watch a variety of live bands or get some fresh air out on the patio. Keys aren’t required to enter anymore, making it super inclusive so anyone can come enjoy the atmosphere!

We came here from out of town on 8/16/19. We were told by Trio staff that they played live music downstairs and EDM music upstairs. We were looking for a good EDM scene but they played R&B/rap upstairs. We were disappointed as this was the place we picked for the music scene

I always enjoy my experience here. The downstairs bands are impressive and if friends and I want to go upstairs for more of a party scene the bottle service and Djs there are always on point.

Great new look, and never have I come across a place with an atmosphere that accentuates my dance moves more than the upgraded Trio Club.
