Its a guaranteed good time. Always has awesome DJs. Everyone dances. Prices are fair. Security needs to be more active inside. Could use faster or more bartenders on busy nights. I always have a good time.

Decent place. Little crowded and hard to navigate during peak hours. Last DJ was just too loud and we left because our ears hurt. I feel old. :(

Teauila Mo is the best bartender ever. She’s so quick and efficient, and brings such great energy to the crowd. She always makes sure to look after everyone, and get them exactly what they need. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great time, with great music.

Pretty cool place. It was the only place playing a decent variety of music. Had a pretty good time. The bartenders are pretty hot too.

Silver dollar is the best bar downtown hands down from the music to the overall experience even down to the bartenders every time I go in I always ask for tequila mo she’s very attentive and makes me want to invite my friends and come back every single time come to silver dollar yall

Bunch of 19 year old noodles in white shirts, but plenty of hot chicks. Music is so loud you wouldnt get caught sober here, put in the work and show up blacked the fuq out.

No frills, no fuss. Basic bar options. Dont be a jerk; keep the orders simple. Youre here to dance, watch the game, get drunk--not necessarily in that order. I dont expect to return soon but Id be game for it.

Worst place i’ve ever been. bouncers were the rudest people i have ever met and took my REAL ID and told me if didnt Venmo him $20 he was giving my ID to his nephews girlfriend HAHAHAH literally awful. so if you’re trying to have a good time i wouldn’t go here lmao.

I haven’t experienced anything personally but ive seen the way these people treat African Americans. If they feel they can get it out of you they will charge certain people a cover. Drinks are overpriced to pay for recent renovations I assume. I wouldn’t waste my money on a establishment like this

Worst bar I have ever been at. The bartender will pick and choose if they want to serve you. I had one bartender look at me, turn around, then help someone else. This happened multiple times. On top of that my food took about 1.5hours to come out and was mediocre. Further, the bouncers will follow you into the bathroom every time you go in and just flat up watch you. Then if you don’t seem like you’re going to by another drink or whatever reason, the bouncers will throw you out. I saw multiple people randomly kicked out for no reason. Plus on top of all of this I heard from customers that they were trying to plant drugs on them because their tab ran out and wanted them to leave. There are so many better places to go to other than here. Don’t take the bad reviews lightly, the more you look the more you’ll see that these things are reoccurring all the time.

Just want to let everyone know this is the most racist bar in charleston. It’s so absurd that it’s 2018 and we still have to deal with this but unfortunately it is the truth, they’ve lost all of my business and I will further refer everyone to not ever go here because of the racism

If you don’t tip to their “standards” they’ll show your receipt around and try to humiliate you

Went for a bachelorette party Friday night and had a great time so we went back Saturday night (after visiting other lame bars). Both nights were fun, casual, and there were a ton of friendly people. Live music was fantastic and so was the DJ! Definitely our favorite spot on King.

If you want good prices you cant be this place.

This is it. The end of the line. Youve been out and about town, been to the places to see and be seen. Youve got a few in you already and youre wondering where you should go to shut it down and end the night. Look no further. Do you need a man playing saxophone on top of the DJs music in a way that makes you curious but also enthused? Need bartenders that have never even heard of a paloma but know how to serve you a ice cold beer with the word lite on the end of it? A dance floor that you are sure hasnt been mopped in days so your feet will slide in perfect time to that sax/DJ combo youre still wondering about? This is the place!Everyone here is full of reverie and inspiring dance moves. This is like the Planet Fitness of Charleston dance bars - no judgement, bad spelling, but youll get what you came for. Watch out for Bruce though. Hes in the corner and he knows what youre up to.

Im from out of town and my cousin took me to this bar one night and my experience was pretty good at first but then I came to visit again and requested we go to the same spot thinking I would have the same experience or better and I cannot say the same this come round.. the bartender ignored me when I tried to make an order and the she sent security over to escort us out without any reason. Other people around us had the same problem. My issue is that I happen to be African American and this looked like a race issue to me.i will be reporting this to the bbb!

If I could, I would rate 0 stars because this is literally the WORST bar you can go to in Charleston. Exceptionally rude staff and bouncers pick and choose who they want to charge a cover. I hope they go out of business.

The bartender was unbelievably rude. I am stationed in Mississippi but when I do come home to Charleston, this is the place I’d go. After last night, me and my friends decided not to come back at all. I will deff be talking to other Navy members about this experience.All because no tip was given on the first swipe, when in all honestly I tip well, and usually with CASH! The bar was basically empty at 12:45 on a Friday night, so we decided to just hang out a while. My friend orders and pays for our shots.. I guess she didn’t tip him on her credit card receipt. So he comes back from the register & says to me, “In f&b we work for tips.” I said okay? He was like she didn’t tip me. Again, I said, “Okay? We plan on staying a while..” My friend didn’t even know what her said she as she is looking in her wallet for the cash to tip him, I told her NO do not tip him. Knocked the shots over and left. I haven’t always been in the Navy, I’ve worked Food and Beverage before and I would NEVER speak to a customer that way. It’s funny because we all tip very well, usually with cash & not on our cards. We bliterally go to the ATM JUST for tip money. He was rude and he needs to find another job if he is that miserable.

Solid bar, transitioning to an older crowd, generally good live music and (what I would consider reasonable) covers. Bar tenders are quick so it doesnt take long to get a drink even when its busy.

I will never visit this place again!! The bartenders were slow and the bouncers were extremely rude and aggressive to me and my visitors!! He almost knocked me down trying to throw someone out and then got an attitude with me when I shoved back!!! Save your money and time!! There are plenty of free entry, more mature clubs along King Street!

Walked in ordered drinks. Bartender scooped the ice from the bucket with red bulls and liquor bottles, beyond disgusting. Saw my gin and tonic spill a little into the ice below. The drink gun is right about the ice. It smelled like piss. My friend a local insisted it was dirty water. I personally wouldnt ever step a foot in this bar again. Youve been warned!!!!
