Manage your expectations. This is memorial to the 4th of the 7 famous debates, the one that drew only the 2nd largest crowd--albeit a healthy 15000 or so. Still it does a good job of conveying the tension of the times and showing how Lincoln may have lost his race for the Senate but laid the way for his successful presidential run two years later.

Kind of a joke. The movie is nice. That’s about it. Looks better externally than what’s inside. This pseudo museum was promoted to be something that would draw in tourism from far and wide. Another epic fail for Charleston. If you want to visit a Lincoln museum with actual artifacts visit the museum in Springfield, IL.

Nice museum. Small, but well maintained and tells the story it needs to tell. Free of charge.
