My boyfriend and I had a lot of fun! It was cool to do something different, too. It was my first time at one of these, but he had been to a few others before, and he said this one was the best. The guy at the front desk was also awesome and helped enhance the experience. Loved it :) I hope they keep adding rooms so we can keep going.

We did the Serial Killer room and had the best time last night! Finished with just 18 seconds left. Our “guide” was awesome and we are already planning our trip back.

I took my salon team here for our first team building event and they didnt disappoint! We had a blast, the staff was so fun and helpful, they even engaged on social media with us and sent a follow up thank you! As a local business own customer service is a high priority for me and I feel Breakout Charleston has customer service on lock! We will def be back as a team!

This is a great escape room. My family that came to visit suggested we try it since they always go to different ones. They even said it was the best one theyve been to. My 13 year old daughter even found a few clues that helped us out. It was not easy but we made it just in time.

Ive done about 30ish rooms and I always have such a great experience at Break Out Charleston. I went recently with a group from work for team building and we had such a blast! The game master was amazing and they went out of their way to make the game fun and memorable.Thanks, Break Out!!

This was my first time ever doing an escape room and I had a blast! My boyfriend surprised me by taking us here and we both cant wait to come back. We tired the bank heist one and it was very well designed and organized. Big shout out to the guide, he helped to enrich the experience a lot by providing information when we were struggling but being too stubborn to ask for clues.I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in escape rooms, I cant wait to try them all out!

Did The Serial killer and the Bank heist.Bank heist is a 5 star with good production budget and a good variety of puzzles. Would recommend but some puzzles are pretty finicky and need an extra jiggle for them to clickThe Serial killer is a 2.5. It felt cheap and very dated with the find a key/combination and put it in a lock formula the whole way. One or two cool ways of finding a key but would not recommend.

Phenomenal experience with incredible staff.Will absolutely be returning.My SO and I had a blast with an hour packed full of well-designed puzzles.I cannot recommend this group enough.Thank you Break Out Charleston!

We did the Wild West Theme it was so much fun! I really enjoyed it, and will be back again!!! It was super clean in there and the staff was very friendly. I give them a thumbs up...

This was an awesome experience. We took our teenage daughter for her birthday event with 5 other teens (15 to 17 yo). They had a blast trying to figure out the puzzles to escape the room. We used up all of our clues (you get 3) and they had to all dance to get another one. The staff was excellent, they gave us an extra 10 mins because the kids were so close to finishing their escape and they helped the process along by giving clues and monitoring the progress to provide injections into the scenario when warranted. Definitely will be back to try other scenarios.

We took our 13 year old and 10 year old and we had a great time. We did the Serial Killer room. Our ten year old was a little scared, but made it through the full 60 minutes without a problem. We failed, but we will definitely go back for another room.

My family and I took a trip back to the wild Wild West and had a blast. The room was very challenging and advanced. Wonderful hospitality and will definitely be back! YEEHAW!

We visited this escape room while in Charleston for my daughter’s birthday. It was a last minute decision and this was pretty much the only place that still have openings for the day.We choose the prison break out room. The spot is located in an office Park so it can initially throw you off and make you think you are at the wrong place.The visit from the time that we arrived to the time that we left was awesome. The host set the stage for is by asking for a password when we arrived. He was super nice and super talkative and really set the tone for the entire visit.Another awesome thing is that we arrived early and he allowed us to start the room early.I’ve done a few escape rooms but this was my first time doing a multi-room escape room. I found the room challenging and fun. I was with 4 teenagers and they really enjoyed it. At then end, we escaped with a minute and 23 seconds left.I would definitely return if I was in the area just because of the excellent customer service.

All 3 rooms had awesome themes and are very well thought-out. This was a great experience and, since I’ve already done all 3 rooms, I can’t wait until a new room is added - I will definitely be back!

Wow, what an aewsome place. We have done many escape rooms and drove from Columbia ( 2hrs drive) to try this place and was worth it. Great decoration, great decor, love the stories and Franky, our game master. Would definitely recommend this escape room.

Escape Charleston was awesome! We had a great time!

Ah, this was my first time here. First escape room I’ve done. We did Death Row. We finished with 14 minutes to spare using all 3 clues. Going in as a newbie I didn’t know what to expect. I thought that it was gonna be just me and my husband but we were paired with 4 strangers. Which is ok, it was just confusing. I know next time to bring my OWN people. You definitely need teamwork with this activity, but perhaps a team that you’re familiar with if you’re an introvert like myself. Other than that, it was really fun and challenging. We probably wouldn’t have been able to finish it with just the two of us. A few good laughs as well . There’s def things in there that will throw you off so think outside the box. We will def be returning, I can’t wait to try them all out.

We have been to rooms all over the country and this was one of our favorites. Four of us have escaped many times but never all together. Finally we escaped together at the Death Row one! It had several puzzles that were unique and we had to think outside the box. We used all three of our clues and I think we wouldn’t have gotten out without them. It was very well put together, nice props and a good story. If we lived closer, we would definitely be back!

My first escape game. My son who has visited several different escape facilities rated this one very high on the production values. We did the Bank Heist. Friendly staff and we solved it with only 1 clue and 7 minutes left!

Was nervous at first because it was my first time but I had a great time! The staff was hilarious and very helpful! I would highly recommend for a fun night!

My youngest son, granddaughter and I did the serial killer room at this location and had so much fun! The staff was very friendly, yet helped the game come alive. Job well done. We completed with only 20 seconds left. I definitely recommend.

Had the greatest experience! Only made it through 1 room in an hour but still enjoyed ourselves. Its better in groups of 4 or more than just 2. Really makes you think and has the eerie music and noises to go with the escape.

We had a great time and got out with 6 minutes left over. There were plenty of puzzles and problems to solve to keep the 8 of us busy for 54 minutes - plus there was a twist that could make the difference between escape and death. SO MUCH FUN!

Milliniuum entertainment. Challenging, creative and fun. A learning group experience. A discovery of strengths and weaknesses. Team work airmen navigating through a maze of riddles and clues. I was imagining a colorful theme park like set. I wasnt sure what to expect? Each location will take on the art directors imagination. But the game will continue forward through a maze of locked doors.

My family and I did the DEATH row escape room and it was thoroughly fun. Lots of room for creative thinking, teamwork, and more than enough small details to keep me guessing.Our host was very helpful and even when we failed (we only got 70% through), he still let us stay an extra few minutes and pursue some loose ends.Overall great time! Will definitely be back soon

It was the first escape room Ive been too, and it was super fun. We had a big group, which is recommendable. We did the death row room, and our other group did the serial killer room. Everyone had fun, and we both completed.

We did the Break Out of Death Row experience, it was awesome. We were six friends together with another couple we didnt know, and we had a frantic but great time solving puzzles and discovering clues. We made it out with two clues and will definitely be back to try the Vault Heist and Serial Killer experience. Highly recommended!

Fun team building event. You really have to work together to break out. The staff is very informative, nice, and helpful. They put you at ease in an adrenaline situation.

Went with my 12 year old daughter and boyfriend. We did the escaping a serial killers house. My daughter was the best help and we even had another group of adults with us! Haha Def a thriller. And if you like puzzles and working with others then it will be an awesome experience!!!

The host was HILARIOUS! I really enjoyed this place and it was not what I expected. You have to find clues that are all comnected to each room. We seriously were screaming because we made it out the door in the last 3 seconds! When I visit South Carolina again, I will be back to try the other rooms out :)

The Minigame building is pretty enjoyable. The staff is really friendly and all round a great place to spend some time with family and friends. However, if your a loner, they will place you with another group and the people could make you feel uncomfortable. But thats just me. I rate it four stars because for a person with general knowledge, those puzzles are tough. (Although Im pretty dumb ) As stated before, this place is amazing and youll have a great time.

This was amazing! I did the Serial Killer Escape with my friends for my sixteenth birthday and we all had an amazing time. The escape room was realistic and exciting and all the puzzles and clues were expertly put together. I will definitely be coming back, and I would recommend this for any party.

The game rooms are real fun.It is a great activity for a group. The staff is very friendly. They have put lot of effort in designing the game room the way they are and they are awesome. I have been to this place twice and I have enjoyed each time. I would recommend to visit this place for anyone who like to solve puzzles.

We did the bank heist escape room. This was all of our first time doing an escape room and had fun. We finished with 16 or so minutes left on the clock. Definitely makes you think and check every corner. I’m ready to try out the next rooms that they offer.

Our group of 4 was partnered with another group of 4, and we escaped with over 7 minutes left!! Only 2 of us had participated in an Escape/Break Out Room before successfully.These are great for couples, groups of friends, co-workers....really, if you want to incite communication, bring them here.Definitely going to future events, doesnt matter which state.

My family and I went to Charleston break out for my birthday. I really enjoyed it, it was different and it made you use your head. The staff was friendly and helpful

Wow, so much fun. If you enjoy logic puzzles (and on some level I think everyone does a little) then this is a 1 hour holy grail of fun! The ONLY downside is its $28 per person for a 1 hour game.

Escape rooms are my new obsession. There are a few outfits around Charleston and this is one of the bigger ones space wise. Challenging, but not impossible puzzles and a great staff. Is a little pricey for an hour, but all locations are the same price.

Fun way to hang out with your kids and friends. Each room is different and offers various ways to test your brain and ways to laugh at yourselves. Puzzles, whats this thing for, a little contortionist - all in a days fun

First escape room experience and it’s probably only downhill from here. So much fun, challenging but broke out with 15 mins to spare. Liked it so much we played another scenario after lunch and had even more fun.

Not clearly marked from the outside, I think that is supposed to add to the experience though. We showed up without reservations (which you are supposed to make in advance) and they went out of their way to work with us. The serial killer room was challenging, but not impossible with a 30% success rate. Overall a great experience despite the steep cost.

Ive done a few of these rooms now both in charleston and out of state, and Break Out Charleston was by far the best. We did the serial killer challenge and the staff really made the experience come alive. He would help the effects and mess with the door. There was more than one room to work through and all the challenges were entertaining. I would 100%recommend.
