Life of Galileo at Playmakers is brilliant. The theater and company are a great asset to our area. Ron Menzel as Galileo (Life of Galileo) is brilliant!

Always good theater in this intimate venue. Ive been a subscriber for years and never seem a bad performance. Some have been truly memorable. Most of the seats are excellent, none are too far from the stage. Avoid seats way around to the sides.Parking in the nearby garage is free. There is a small concession stand with a modest selection of snacks and non- alcoholic beverages which you may bring into the theater.

Could have done without the added political undertones. Isnt art supposed to be interpretive? Lay it out and let me decide... dont put your spin on it. Great sets and actors though.

Best place in the area to see live theater. Te plays are well staged by a local university’s based repertory supplemented by visiting artists. They show a nice mix of contemporary and classic plays.

I’ve loved in the area for almost 20 years and just went to Playmakers for the first time. Great space, not a bad seat in the house. Sound was perfect and the talent was unsurpassed. Really enjoyed this place, and I’ll be back!

Ive only attended once (so far; She Loves Me), but Ill certainly go again. They have a thrust stage (which was used well) and the seating is good until youre very far off-axis. All the actors were miced and the sound was good. The actors, even in the supporting roles, were talented.

Love the location and fact you have food and drinks there. The design of the stage is well designed for good viewing and heading of a production.

Best musicals for the money! Professional set designs, costuming and musicians. Sometimes you get really talented young actors as well.

Challenging yet accessible plays are performed by highly skilled professional actors in a uniquely intimate space with a 3/4 thrust stage and stadium seating that affords an excellent view of the action.

Saw Jump. Excellent play!! I loved how she combined a serious topic with humor threaded through. My two teenaged children loved it too. And I appreciate how playmakers has student priced tickets for UNC students and anyone under 18.

A first-rate troupe of actors. Past performances of Shakespeare dramas were some of the best productions anywhere. They also do a great job on Pulitzer prize winning plays.
