Went to catch THE LOST BOYS with my wife at the theater. I have seen it at least 100 times (in my Top 5 vampire movies for me) but at the theater it was twice as good. Had the fish and chips() and a couple beers and the food was good and the beer was cold. First time my wife has seen it start to finish without TV commercials she said kinda made me sad so Im glad we did it at the theater.

Nice place to catch a movie with comfy seating and full service bar and food in theater. Great events held with audience participation as well. Food is tasty and nice portion sizes. Great spot for a date night!!

I didnt feel appreciated as a customer to get popcorn for my mom bc I put the mask on when the girl asked me to. But then she said over your nose, I understand why she said it. But the tone of her voice was rude so I did as she said but theres nowhere that says wearing over the nose is a requirement in arizona. First place ever been to where someone has said this. Anyway thats my first experience, will never be going back

This was our first time here. Loved it. Wish the menu included turkey burgers or just more chicken/turkey options slicwith sandwiches. The Truffle Parmesan Cheese popcorn was AMAZING. I am ruined, I think. I will never be able to eat regular popcorn again. The service was good. I also LOVE, LOVE the noise warning at the beginning. This is now a QUIET ZONE! You will be ejected from the theater after one warning.*Shocker* NO ONE WAS on their phone. This was a GREAT EXPERIENCE.

I had a huge issue with Parker after going to Alamo several times. I contacted the Director of Operations Adam Frost but got absolutelynowhere. I will definitely not recommend this Chandler theater to anyone else ever.

Its nice place with food and alcohol served here its too bad that this place isnt getting much business cause of covid.

No recliners. Chair dont lean back at all. Most uncomfortable seats ever. My back was killing me the entire time. Chocolate chip cookies taste like they came out of a garage can. We wont be back!

Real butter on the bottomless popcorn!! Love the strict no talking, no phones policy. You can actually enjoy the movie.

Great movie viewing experience. We recently took our 4 year old son to see Sonic the Hedgehog. We only ordered popcorn and an espresso chocolate shake. The popcorn was fresh and not over buttered. The shake was delicious. Well balanced flavor. And they were delivered fast. We would definitely come back another time and try other items.

I love being able to select my seat days before going to the movie. My family and I seldom go to any other movie theater now. Their popcorn with real butter is hands-down the best I’ve ever had, even better than my own! The beer selection is great, the burgers are amazing, the service is almost always quick, and the theater is clean. There is something really amazing about having food brought to you during the movie so you don’t miss anything. Such an amazing part of Chandler.

A Strange Brew viewing surprise party for a good Canadian friend brought me to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. We had a great time eating Canadian split pea soup, poutine, and other tasty Canadian fare paired with local brews. Seats were very comfy and good quick service.

This is a hidden gem in the cinema world and for any movie buff they will appreciate the details like real butter on the unlimited popcorn and the old trailers and commercials they show before every movie. Their strict policy of no cell phones during the movie is a refreshing aspect and no children to adult movies under a certain age regardless is comforting to know I won’t be annoyed during the movie. They also show old movie classics and have movie parties like this Back to the Future party I attended recently which was a blast even serving specialty drinks in movie themed glasses you could bring home. It’s a throwback to the cinemas of yesterday with all the modern comforts of today.

Enjoyed being able to eat and watch a movie. Im not a fan of the hot dogs at a movie place so I tried the hamburger and was pleasantly surprised. The seats are comfy as well. Will definitely come back again.

First time at Alamo Draft House. The seats were good, the servers did a good job of minimal interruptions when getting us food. The menu had a good range of food. Nothing allergy free for me but my husband enjoyed what he ordered. They even had costumed people there to celebrate the premiere. I was glad to see their strict no phone durning the movie policy.

This is a really unique theater experience all around. They have reserved seating Leather Reclining Chairs and a table that you both share. You can order drinks or food for the movie and I also have a great bar when you first walk in and buy your tickets thats worth you getting there early for! Check out the menu for drinks named after the brand new movies and also look for special nights when they have Movie parties theyre amazing and really bring the movie to life.

Incredible place to watch movies in a theatre with spacious room. They can also serve you food and they have vegan options, so that is a plus!

A fun and neat theatre.

I debated only 4 stars because if you compare their food and service to what you expect from a restaurant it would not be 5 stars. However this is not a restaurant it is a theater that Serves a full menu. Food is far beyond my expectations for any theater, and the movie going experience they create is bar none the best available. No loud guests, no cell phones, no waiting in line at all. You cant beat that. Never had a bad experience here

Great experience here. You can sit and watch a movie while ordering drinks and food. The food is amazing and is only surpassed by the service. The staff are so kind and attentive. I was just visiting the area but the alamo makes me wish I lived in Chandler.

This is a great theater! Love the set up and service! Intimate setting makes it great for date night too. The menu has great options and the refills on soda and popcorn is a plus. The chairs are super comfortable and every two chairs are spaced perfectly. Definitely worth it!

Great place for a movie with friends to significant others. Menu is surprisingly good for a movie theater and you cant go wrong with their bottomless popcorn. Seats could be better as they rock and dont fully recline. Also the light under the table can be a bit distracting. They have the best previews before the movies which are entertaining and sometimes informative. Good place for a drink too with a nice bar and good selection.

A top notch movie and dining venue! If you cant make it to Texas for the original this is the next best thing. Great staff and well maintained all around. This is not your typical dine and movie venue... be prepared for a non typical experience in a great way.

I enjoyed the view from my seat, which was top center. Seats are minimally padded and did not recline. I was told they reclined. Service was as expected. We had snacks & drinks. I dont care for metal bowls for popcorn, as it looses heat too quickly. Not good with butter.

I like this theatre, its just that my only problems are that the tickets are too expensive sometimes, and the pizza is too small tbh.

Incredibly cool atmosphere and awesome concept. The staff are all friendly, attentive and professional. A must if you enjoy a real cinematic experience. Recently saw Stephen King and Stanley Kubricks the shining in 4K and even though I have seen it so many times before it was a totally different experience. Just the movie roster alone is a enough of a reason to check this place out. And yes the food is delicious.

Speedy check in. Excellent food and beverages. A quiet, if not silent, movie experience thats closest to what youd have at home! I have theater anxiety, and the lighting at the all draft house inside the viewing room, and the spacing of the chairs (so your not on top of each other) is perfect!Its a great experience at a comparable price.Check it out if you havent already!

We LOVE coming here. The staff is always chill and my son loves the burgers, which Ive yet to try. They have popping movie parties.

I love this place. Food is always great. My only issue is the seating, they could be better and on occasion youre stuck with a really squeaky seat.

I would just like to give a Bravo to the employees of Alamo Draft House in Chandler. I dropped my wallet in the theater Sunday afternoon...I didn’t realize it was missing until Monday when I was checking out of a store. I called Alamo and talked to Mathew one of the Managers. He checked their safe and my wallet had been turned in. We will continue to support this local theatre and many thanks to their amazing employees!

This was our first experience here. It was great! The service was great, the food was ok, but the package for Frozen 2 that included a cookie decorating kit was perfect. As we walked out of the theater on opening night we were met with Elsa and Anna. It was perfect!

The red hair ticket custodian was rude and did not allow my family and I to watch the movie “way back”. They had a 10 minute policy yet with got there 11 minutes late. She did not show any type of remorse and deserves to be fired. That job isn’t that important. The other co-workers didn’t seem to care that we arrived. Overall, the atmosphere of this theater- dine in is below average, matter of fact it was worse then that. Very disappointed with service and it deserves to get shut down. AMC theaters are better.

Took 45 mins to get a glass of wine and M&Ms. I paid 6.50 for candy and the around the same for wine. The wine would have been okay at best but definitely had not been stored properly and was just like vinegar. Would have been much better to just get from counter on arrival, especially at that price and quality level.

What an amazing idea. Although you will spend more than you anticipate after everything is said and done, it’s no different than going out to eat and then seeing a movie. The food selection was AWESOME, and the bottomless popcorn is a solid solution for those who want to snack on a budget.We were especially impressed with the staff and the way they handled my disabled grandfather. We arrived to our showing about 3 minutes late (which the terms do say they have the right to move you to another showing or provide a rain check if late, understandable), and the lights had been dimmed for our showing. My grandfather couldn’t see and upon assessing the situation, the staff jumped in right away and helped us to our seats and treated us with utmost respect. Five stars isn’t enough. Will continue our Star Wars viewing tradition with my grandfather here!

Be advised that sometimes you can arrive for an advertised screening and the theater will have decided they aren’t showing it at that time. You can talk to a manager and they will offer you a ticket for the very next screening, but if that doesn’t work with your schedule, you’re SOL. I was told this had happened to other people. I asked if I should just get in the habit of calling each time to verify the movie will actually show before driving over, and was told that yeah, that might be a good idea. That’s an odd way to run a business, with so many theaters in town.

My wife and I love the friend chicken sandwich. The cookies are awesome and theres so many of them we cant eat them all. I highly recommend getting there early to order food and drink early so you dont have to worry about ordering in the middle of the movie. The service has been great and their bartenders are very knowledgeable. I posted their special menu for captain Marvel. My wife had the force of our Stars and it was great.

First time at an Alamo, and it was all fantastic. Clean theater, friendly staff, and excellent food. Definitely will be coming back.

Great service. Love the truffle popcorn! Great deal considering the size! They have a good system on how to put in orders during the movie. The seats dont fully recline but still comfortable.

Very clean, comfortable movie theater. Seems like an unlimited choice of draft beers and great choice of food. We had the truffle parmesan popcorn, it was perfectly seasoned and delicious! Also had a blueberry/vanilla IPA! Yum!

Place had a wet carpet smell when we entered the front door. Once inside the theater, the floor was sticky and smelled like dirty mop water. The chairs do not recline. Not even a little bit. The wait staff was nice but the food prices were not. $13 for a sprite and a regular size pack of M&Ms. There were some very annoying videos playing at high volume before the movie started. Movie theater was pretty quiet throughout the movie. Although its close to home we will have to take the longer drive to another theater.

Love the concept. Food and drink expensive... $6.25 for one Sprite. And movie volume could have been louder. A full bar is awesome.

Went there for 1st time for a Grease sing-a-long movie, had my 16 year nephew with autism and other challenges-he was welcomed so well and the staff seemed to be aware of how to communicate with him and give him time to answer. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and it was overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend if you havent been-dinner & a movie all in same place!

Service, food, and experience was fine but I was given a Sprite that tasted rancid. Made me sick. Let the manager know but it was jarring and it was disappointing.

Such a cool place. Dinner and movie, what a perfect date night. The staff was friendly and they gladly explained how everything worked knowing it was our first time. Not to mention, the food was actually really good! We shared the pretzel and a pizza and it exceeded our expectations for movie theater food. Would definitely recommend!

Pretty cool place to take in a show, pricey though they have full service kitchen and bar plus all they goodies for kids. great seating and service so if you want more than just a quick loud theater check it out.

Anytime my husband and I want to see a movie, we always go to Alamo. Its so wonderful going to a theater knowing there arent going to be any crying children or loud attendees in the audience. The food is also very good -- pub style but with less fried options and the same generous proportions. I particularly like their salads and wraps, while my husband loves their pizzas. Their drinks and adult shakes are delicious and often come with the right balance of alcohol content. And lets not forget the awesomeness that is their movie parties! We took our friend to Alamos Elf showing last year - her first movie party ever - and it was a blast. I highly recommend Alamo to anyone looking for an enjoyable night out!

Went to watch rise of Skywalker with the family and when we walked in they had DRAG QUEENS on the screen. Trying to explain that one to my 10 year old nephew was a blast! NOT!!!! Wish I could give ZERO stars! First and most certainly LAST time going here!

Very disappointed!I was at your theatre last night. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I had. I suppose the only fortunate thing is that my bill was a mere $16.47.Our drinks were never re-filled and we left an order (correctly) sitting in the stand at the front of our table. The order slip sat there for an hour. The waitress came by with the bill, my girlfriend pointed out that there was an order slip waiting to be taken, and the waitress acknowledged the slip and my girlfriend’s request but clearly ignored it. The waitress continued placing bills on the rest of the tables in the row but never came back to get the order slip.With maybe 5 minutes of the movie left, another staff member came by and grabbed the slip. Of course, I told him that it was too late to take the order and bring us what we wanted.I’ve been to your theatre several times. I understand mistakes are made and your staff is very busy; you all work very hard and that is appreciated. Tonight was a major, unacceptable, exception. I’ve never been treated so poorly at your theatre.Thank you for reading this and I hope you can do better next time. Like what I’m used to. Certainly, if this happens again, I won’t be back.Happy holidays and a happy new year.

The Alamo Drafthouse is a great place for movie lovers to see new releases and enjoy classic movie viewing parties.Menu favorites are the loaded fries and baked pretzel. I always look forward to the special movie themed cocktails.

Alamo drafthouse is my home away from home. no complaints from any of the locations ever. love that there’s no kids allowed and that people can’t enter the theatre late.

First time coming here and I left not very impressed. The food was very disappointing! Our pizza looked like something I couldve made in my microwave for waaaaay cheaper. The picture and sound were good. The seats were very uncomfortable and our waitress was pretty much non existent. The idea of the place is cool but overall we wont be back.

Fast and friendly service. Great food and drink options. Love the cheap matinee ticket prices before 5pm. Perfect for an early dinner and movie with the family. You will spend $ here....possibly a lot....but the food is so worth it.

Comfy chairs, and service of food and drinks to your seats was excellent. Food was ok. We had the bbq pizza, and sauce is just a little too sweet for my taste.

Certainly a different experience can be had compared to the standard movie theater. Comfortable seating with convienent mini table tops allows the staff to collect your food and drink order as well as provide a platform to land on. I did find the down lighting under the tables a bit distracting for watching the screen but may have been due to the view angle. My recommendation would be to sit closer to the middle rows.

This has sincerely become our favorite go-to place for movies. They quickly and discreetly deliver your drinks and food to your seat. By now Im assuming that most people have been here, you know that you have a table in front of your seats, and you know that you use a slip of paper stood up at the front of your table to let them know what you are ordering. You also know that you have a menu and a little light under your table in order to read and write.Okay so what makes this particular Alamo different from the one in Gilbert? And the one in Gilbert has reclining chairs but I didnt find the food quality to be as good.I almost never go to an Alamo without ordering the Buffalo cauliflower. and Chandler it is absolutely covered in buffalo sauce and you get your choice of dipping dressing... I get the vegan ranch because its deliciousand I have convinced myself that it is calorically better than regular ranch, with no taste difference. The Gilbert location there seemed to just be a drizzling of buffalo sauce and they gave me blue cheese by default. Not terrible, I just prefer Chandler for this. The seats at Chandler do not recline but the ones at Gilbert do. To me thats the only thing this theater is missing, reclining seats and suits they have are so comfortable that I dont really miss the reclining feature anyway.Ive also been too Flix in downtown Chandler, The only ones. So heres my comparison and why I pick Alamo. The food selection Its better at Alamo, the seats are more comfortable in your whole section feels more secluded and private. Also the table is bigger so you have more room for your food and drinks. Not to mention the ordering system at Flux was a little confusing.Another thing I love about this theater is the quiet zone! They make it very clear that patrons are not to be talking loudly or using their cell phones! Hooray!One more feature I want to mention that separates Alamo from other theaters. You dont have to sit through commercials while you wait for your movie to start. They play weird and obscure videos and shorts related to the feature presentation. but youre not going to see an ad for big two Toyota down the street.I really appreciate this because holy hell I do not pay $11 for a movie ticket so I can sit and watch commercials for other businesses.

Amazing food, wide selection of movies, both new and classic, and a great rewards program not to mention the unbeatable season pass deal: a movie a day for 20 bucks a month.

We have been here twice. The theater is nice and the seats are very comfortable. The food and beverage service at your seat is a nice bonus. Adult beverages make it really nice. This sometimes can be a distraction in the middle of a movie, but no more than someone going out to the bathroom. Over all this has been a positive experience.

Its great to be able to see a movie and enjoy excellent food at the same time. I love their salads! They dont even require dressing. Im also happy about the no texting or talking rules. You can enjoy the movie in peace.

I like this concept, but I think its too overpriced. Its basically a one stop shop for date night. I wouldnt be so critical if they would lower their food and drink prices or offer a food and beverage or dinner & movie package that takes into account movie/food/drinks

The food is OK. The tables you eat at arent great. The seats really arent that comfortable for long movies. The sound was good and the picture was clear.I saw 2 phone screens and the 10 year old next to me was talking the whole time. Their gimmick is the quiet zone theater experience and they dont provide it in my opinion.I was so hopeful since this was my first visit and it was just OK.

My experience has been great seeing movies at Alamo Drafthouse, they take watching the movie seriously with no late admissions, no cell phone use during the movie, and great table side service. The only downside (and it is minor) is in theater 8 there is no reclining seat options. Once you have done reclining at the Tempe location you really dont want to go back to normal seats

Love this theater! They got off to a pretty rocky start. But they have made some massive improvements in the level of service and in the overall fun factor with film clubs and loyalty programs. They offer discounted classic movie nights and other really fun and interesting things. When I originally wrote my review for this place it was not good. I am replacing that review with this one. We love this theater and we go here often.

You can choose your seats and buy tickets online. The food is great and the servers are wonderful. Its a great movie experience. I had breakfast tacos & my husband had a burger. Both delicious.

Love Alamo Drafthouse just wish all the seats reclined like in their other theaters theyve built in the area.

What a great venue for movies!! Great service, food and drinks a little pricey but good. Staff was very friendly. Liked the lobby atmosphere with some intimate alcoves to hang out in and a nice bar with colorful chairs.

Had a good experience overall. It was a company function so it was all paid for which made it even better! Food was ok so not sure if I order food next time I visit.

Friendly staff, good food and a great selection of draft beers. Seating is good, but not as relaxing as some, but as good as or better than most.

The do great themed nights. Very fun during the night of move releases like the star wars release.

Comfortable awaiting, great sound system, and friendly staff. You also get the benefit of being served restaurant quality food while you enjoy your movie (including beers or cocktails). The menu however has taken a dive in terms of appetizing items compared to when the theater first opened. There is pizza and burgers but nothing really that appealing that screams special or gourmet. Kids might find the menu exciting but your typical Chandler/Gilbert adult patron might get better mileage from Flix theater. Nevertheless Alamo is my go-to theater for mid-week crowd avoiding movie watching because its close by.
