Neat park with some nice water features. Lots of birds, but the water can get a bit dirty. Paths may be muddy after large storms, but are still passable

Really cool waterfowl here most of the year. A nice quiet park for where it is.

Its a beautiful area and the animals around it arent something you have to be worried about getting to close to which cant be said with many other places. Theres a lot of space to walk, ducks and geese, wonderful waterfalls, parking is free and you can pretty much do whatever you want and just enjoy the scenery without going very far if you live close to Champaign

This is a very good park if you want a decent walk or if you want to just sit and chill. The only thing that bothers me is the smell coming from the water. But, its managable.

Great place for a run. A beautiful park on the border between campus town and midtown in Champaign. The trails provide elevation that doesnt really exist in Champaign. So wonderful place for a run.

Nice place to walk through pathways, there are water falls that ends in a small lake, some tables ans benches on the sides of the park to eat or chat. Wild duckings and gooses are there and waiting to be feed. Parking accesible from Spingfield ave or Uviversity Ave. Either day or night is a cozy place to visit. It is surround by apartments so is quiet most of the time

Helms Park is a hidden gem in Midtown Champaign. The ducks here are friendly and are partial to frozen peas.
