Note that the reviewers who dont like it are all the kind of people who go to the amc or something. This is a movie house... the real deal, and the best place to see a classic like Gone with the Wind, or some Hitchcock.

Five stars for the Cine1 room alone - you’re getting an IMAX experience at a lower price. I also appreciate that Harkins Cerritos sells discounted tickets for classic movies and often shows movies you’re not likely to see anywhere else in the area. Parking can be a pain on the weekends (it is a mall after all) so definitely come early.

Great movie theater for couples and families. Best Popcorn! Always fresh and the powder fixings are a plus. The staff is very nice and courteous. Cine1 is awesome! Giant screen, fantastic sounds and seating is plenty enough to see from any angle. This is our go to cinema spot from now on. ️

I went to see the Avengers: Endgame on the big Cine screen and it was awesome!First off, you can buy beer at their bar and drink it while watching a movie! Whaaa? Yes, its so very true. Bar opens at 11am. Just had to throw that out there for anyone planning on checking it out. Beer and a movie, what the heck took so long?For the couples with children that dont really wanna bring their child or children into the actually movie theater, they have a daycare center on the right side after your ticket has been ripped by the movie theater staff member. I think the daycare cost is $15 bucks or something. Dont quote me on the price but it wasnt ridiculously expensive. The daycare room is state of the art with a learning center, toys, games, TV, you name it, its in there. Im sure the children you plan on dropping off at the small daycare they offer would rather be in there than in a loud theater watching your boring movie anyways, mom and dad.The surround sound created by Dolby Atmos has outdone its self at the Harkins Theater. I dont think Dolby actually installs the audio in the theaters but the Dolby Atmos in the Cine theater sounds amay-za-za-zing! I recommend watching a really good action flick on that screen as soon as you can, Endgame preferably. I think there are roughly about 40 surround speakers, at least 40 or so effect speakers over your head that form a line from the back of the theater all the way to the screen. Not to mention all the speakers that line the walls on the left and right! I have to imagine there are at least 5 15-24 subwoofers all producing the highest quality LFE. There are probably just as many speakers in there as there are seats. Definately going back there! Oh, and the seats are motorized recliners, which I consider the new standard that all theaters must have! Go and check it out! You wont be disappointed!

I love this place in the way love would be shared with an ongoing relationship where philosophical, artistic, and intellectual definitions could be shared without remorse or attacks. A sort of Sartre and Camus relationship, in my mind.

By far my most favorite movie theater. They have a great rewards program and the option to purchase a loyalty cup and get refills for only $2.00 and having the popcorn perks (we pay $30 and get a free medium popcorn for free each time we go, up to 36 times. You can also upgrade the popcorn to a large for a $1.00). They also have a full bar (my husbands favorite part) and very comfortable fully reclining seats. The only down side to this theater is that its in the mall, so seeing a movie during the Christmas holidays is tough because the parking lot is packed. Other then that, great theater!

We go to the movies 1 time a week, this is our favorite theater. Seats recline beautifully, but if only they were heated. I appreciate the recline angle better than heat. The theater is beautiful insider. Bathroom are clean, all the attendants are very polite.

How watching movies away outside of the house should be. All other theaters should take note and try to emulate what they do. Yes, the ticket prices are a bit higher than others but the facility is super nice.Each theater was built with recliners in mind (not modified to house them) with plenty of room to stretch out and not worry about having to move if someone needs to get by. The recliners are very comfortable too.

Best movie experience!Cinema 1 is the way to go, we try to always go to that theater. Its so spacious, the seating is comfy, and the screen is most impressive.I went to the Guest Services window to add the tickets my husband bought to my Harkins card for credit and the gentleman was so helpful and genuinely kind.Id give them 10 starts if I could!!

Great theater great surround system and they have loungers! Great food also like flatbreads, chicken sandwiches and delicious popcorn! You can buy a big bag of fresh popped popcorn for $10 to take home! They also have popcorn Seasonings for free! The matinee is $11.50 before 6 after 6 its a little pricey $14.50

Harkins is always a great choice! Great seats and easy to get in and out. Parking can be complicated when its busy. But its an amazing new theatre

Ive havent been to Cerritos in 18-20 years. The mall has changed quite a bit. Very nice theater. Enjoyed being there. One unfortunate thing is that for the hearing impaired. They have this big dumb thing to get subtitles. Ridicules device. Other locations have glasses.

I thought I lost my phone here and this staff was more than helpful. They took the seats apart and all. I appreciated their efforts and time. While my phone was waiting on me in the car.

My favorite theater, other theaters are a disappointment. They are really family friendly, they have a child dropoff room and very nice private family restrooms. Its pricey but worth it.

This is my familes go-to movie theater. I enjoy the convenience of assigned seating. Their recliners are nice, the popcorn is good and overall the prices are not that bad. Great family night experience!

I love this movie theatre, apart from current movies they have special events and showings such as Classic Tuesdays, Musical Mondays and many others. Ive had the chance to see movies from the 1950s in this theatre. Their royalty program is really good and the service is great. The seats are reclinable and very comfortable. They have a bar which I think is another plus. Another great feature is they have a Play Center for little kids, you have to pay for it but is not really expensive. Overall great experience, I wish they had more locations in Southern California.

Harkins Theater is a wonderful movie facility! The seating is very comfortable and very very much available! The movie theater sound is excellent and the projection of the movie is huge and very very adequate. The cost of the snacks is pricey just like every other movie theater. However Harkins has a online option that the repetitive users of their facility can get a great discount if you sign up to be a member of theirs. Also look into the opportunity to rent one of their movie theaters at the beginning of the day and you and only your friends or family can visit the movie theater and watch your movie that you choose to bring or play video games in the theater that you have rented! We have rented one of the theaters for my sons 13th birthday and him and five of his friends came in to play video games in the theater with the 90 ft wide big screen and the wonderful sound system. The cost of that was around $145 and it lasted a very very productive length of time it was amazing and super historically rewarding. The many times have been to this facility with friends and family the employees have always been very supportive and helpful they have great attitudes and they enjoy smiling they make you feel very comfortable when youre at their theater!

I love the Harkins. The customer service is on point, the seats are super comfy, and the corn is really tasty. The screens are mostly decently sized and the sound is pretty good.

We love being able to choose our seats online and know exactly where we will be sitting prior to even arriving at the theater. The seats are very comfortable whether you choose to recline them or not. The popcorn and other snacks are very tasty and they have many healthy options if one wants to go that way. Very clean environment. Good movie choices, good sound, etc. Harkins tends to spoil you for other theaters.

It was our first time to this particular theater and we had a great experience. The only down side is the the refreshments and snacks are more on the expensive side but they do have more of a variety. Combos would be a great add on to the menus.

They have a full bar inside as well as an expanded food menu. So, you can arrive early and have drinks and food before the movie. Seats recline and the seats are assigned. They have RPX screens as well as Real3D. The theater is very clean and modern looking. A great movie experience.

Surprisingly happy with this place. Saw the new Terminator, seats go way down, more so than I thought. Was also intrigued to find out you can basically rent out theaters for gaming if you wanted. Come play Death Stranding on the big screen, like it basically is supposed to be like.

Wow!!! What can I say my sister took me and ever since thats the place to go. Its pricey yet worth it. Believe me you want to experience a good movie this place will amaze you. Now if you chose to save a few bucks then enjoy the people around you that will not let you enjoy the movie.

I want to Thank Harkins Theatre in Cerritos! I left my wallet in the seat of the auditorium last night. Didnt realize until next day, when I called they had it at the box office. Wallet returned with EVERYTHING in it. Not sure who found it but Thank you, I pray God blesses you. And Thank you to the staff for being honest. There are still good people in this world.

The best thing about this theater is that the seats recline. This assures that you have a virtually unobstructed view from all seats. It is also nice to stretch out, like watching tv at home.

Watched “US” recently in their main CINE1 theater. Theater is very clean! Assigned seating, Recliner chairs, very comfortable, spacious seating! Tickets are fairly priced compared to other theaters. Located inside the Los Cerritos Mall: next to Dicks Sporting Goods side of the mall. Depends on what time your movie showing is, finding parking could be challenging, it gets so packed even the furthest parking spots are taken. So highly recommend arriving early. Showings after 10 usually no parking issues. No processing fees if you buy tickets at the kiosk in person. All other apps including the Harkins app charges a $3 fee. There is a mini bar at the side of the entrance inside the theater. Plenty of restaurants nearby if you’re looking for a place to eat before your movie.

The lodge seating is better than regular movie chairs, and they keep them on working order. They seem to occasionally run out of things at the concession stand. The theater itself is nice, parking is very congested on weekends. If you can go middle of the week, its more enjoyable.

Best experience! you have the kids no problem they have child care enclosed area if you eat at cheesecake factory any leftovers taking home they will refrigerate it for you! Staff outstanding. They also have a full service. Bar & you can take in the movie just relax and enjoy the movies. Highly recommend!!

This was the very first time in these theaters I did like the seats, is like you are in your livingroom watching a movie, big and comfortable the are like recliners, I liked it very much.

Theater with big screens, great sound, reserved seating, and BIG, COMFORTABLE, RECLINING SEATS! Staff is super friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are really clean! I can see why so many people love this theater. Oh, and they have a FULL BAR!

I absolutely love the recliner seats and the fact that I can usually get seats when I want to. Unfortunately, they have NO vegan options (unless you consider a pickle and almonds vegan food) and dont let you bring food. So if youre vegan eat beforehand! I had to throw away my food and literally had nothing but candy to eat. If outside food isnt allowed then they need to be inclusive of all dietary needs.

There isnt anything better to watch a movie with a good sound system and comfy reclining chairs. Harkins is located inside the Los Cerritos Center. Even though theres plenty of parking its always full in the midafternoon and evenings. The theater has good recliner seats that move all the way back. I have come here to watch a few movies. I always get popcorn and it tastes fresh and crunchy. It doesnt taste stale or old. Theres plenty of seasonings and butter available to dress your popcorn. You can sign up online for their rewards program. As you collect points you can use it for the concession stand.

I loved this movie theatre as it has a full bar, huge menu for the restaurant (which was a separate concession are) and the seats were super comfortable, the sound was on point and the theatre was true stadium where there were no heads or wall in front of you. Great layout.

The mezzanine level of movie theaters. Not as pricey as Cineopolis but has food and a bar (just no seat service). And a step above the average Regal with all recliner seating and nice theaters. A bonus for parents: they have an area to entertain the kids while mom & dad take in an adult show!

(Weird complaint alert) The seats were too comfortable... they reclined so far back it felt like youre in bed & we kept falling asleep. Also the popcorn selection is basic. They have Carmel corn and what not but no kettle corn (eye roll).It was an overall good experience but I like Cinemark better.

Incredible theater. Leather reclining seats, wide walkways very modern sound and great picture quality on the screen. They offer a wide fare of foods including White Castle and Churros. They also have a bar too. Tickets are on the high end $13.50 at the time of this review. I dont have access to this kind of theater in my hometown but I think this is one of the best theaters Ive ever been too. When I am in LA, this is where I want to see movies!

Best place to hear movies cause they have Dolby Atmos, with klipsch speakers, and to me thats one of the best combinations ever. So i really recommend this theater, but for that good experience you must get cine1.

Harkins theater is one of my happy places!! They have the best movie deal ever. You buy a loyalty cup for $5, you get to fill the cup all year for $1.50. If you join the rewards club everytime you go to the movie u accumulate points. .for every 200 points you get $5. They also have a popcorn deal. Spend $30 u get a free medium, pay a $ 1.50 more u an get a leg popcorn & its refillable. This is the best deal in town. No one can beat this deal. I will be going to this theater for the rest of my life! No other theatres exist to me.

We love seeing movies here. The reclining chairs alone are much more comfortable than normal movie theater chairs. They also have a bar and a kids club area for if you want to see an adult movie. Awesome experience.
