A really fun place for kids especially when its hot out. Lots of both wet and dry play areas, picnic tables and clean restrooms. Today was quite crowded and that may be because we just got done with 3 long days of cold and rain and its almost July so folks are ready for real summer. This park is truly lovely and very kid friendly.

Oh my freaking gobstoppers. This park must have cost a fortune to build! And they did the MOST fantastic job. Kids of all ages welcome - they have so much modern play equipment. I even enjoyed much of it. During summer theres a splash pad with all kinds of water fun, too! So wear a suit! Lots of shaded picnic spots and rentable dens placed throughout.I cant wait to attend an outdoor concert at the amphitheater as well (whenever live events are again permissible).

Stunningly Beautiful. A great place to take kids to play, host a business gathering, work out, play Pokemon Go. During the warm months there is a water park, during the cold months there is a nice play area. Grand open spaces full of history & beautiful views. Enjoyable walking routes with both inclines & flat paths. Large parking lot.

This park is the best for families! It is very vibrant and since it isnt too old then all the equipment and paint still look vibrant and not worn out like typical parks. We still love Westlands Park on Quebec which has the lake, basketball court, skate park, and great percussion instrument area. But this park has the amazing splash pad and playgrounds. Really looking forward to the laser show here on Aug 10.

We absolutely love this park! The splash park in the summer is a blast. I wish it extended hours past Labor Day since its still hot and most pools are closed. Its got a great playground with fun stuff for younger and older kids. We love the slide built into the hill and the giant disc swings that we can all swing in together. This park would be great to rent out space for a party. Why are suburban parks so much better than the ones in our neighborhood?

2018-07-03We call this the awesome park!Lots of parking. The park itself was well engineered to make use of every space! This park has the dry area where kids can find hanging obstacle course, swings, disc swings, treehouse slides, seesaw, musical stuff, climbing stuff, and so on...The little ones have a separate area with sand, swings, vehicle seesaw, rotating cups, and slides. There is also the wet part with multiple kid water mini-park (fountains, buckets, and more fountains). A lot of kids are here during hot summer days playing here. A synthetic grass area with a giant tarp for shade is adjacent the water play area. There is a party area with about 8? full size tables with roof. You have to call the city to reserve a table if you need it (for a fee) for a party because the people that paid will have priority over you.Picnic tables are scattered throughout the park. These are free but as with other parks, first come first serve. There is a mini trail with some interesting facts written in some parts of it.Opens at 5:30 am to 10 pm.If this review helped you in any way, please give it a thumbs up. Have a great day!

Excellent park for kids! Lots of amazing play area to climb and have fun. The splash pad is huge and layered, even hosting a great grassy area (fake grass) that is slanted on a slight hill so parents can lay or sit in the shade close to the kids at splash pad area.Lots of seating areas all over this amazing park, so many different locations for parents to rest and watch kids. Also offering picnic tables that are newer and clean under shading, grills and even a fire place (not sure when its lit by staff?)Bathrooms are clean amd close! Plenty of parking especially for ADA (Disabled) which is a huge plus for our family who has a wheelchair accessible need. Easy access to park with strollers, wheelchairs on the walk ramp area or use the stairs!Dogs are welcome and have plenty of place to sit in the grass and you can still see your children play! They offer many shaded areas which is nice! We went on a pretty busy day and it was still very easy to get seating in shade! But we brought laen chairs just in case per reviews, but didnt need them amd we went during high peek time!Lots of friendly moms amd kids, there were not lots of older kids running around neglecting to watch for littles which is ao great, as normal splash parks there are big kids not paying attention to littles, not the case here! It was great! They offer private shaded are for seating almost like a secluded area with a fire place in it (cool place to work on things on your laptop!) Toddler area that its own little splash area separate from the larger one below on the first level! This park is sure to please all ages of your family i assure you, its super clean seen 2 staff members while here so that suows they keep this place picked up amd cared for!! Water smelled clean but not over powering of chlorine either! This park is sure to wear out your kiddos lol but give the parents a relaxing afternoon in comfort and safety for kids! Where we sat you could see all of the park area so it made it easy to know where kids were at! I love parks that are built to think of this in mind, knowing parents want to sit and see it all without having to chase kids who may leave the park area, it was designed great foe this reason I think too! Great overlook areas all over dor parents! Would highly recommend to parents, we live downtown and it was worth the drive, will return!!!!Even in the season the splash pad would be off, this park would still be a great hit!!!

Some pretty cool structures at this park like the giant rock wall, rope walk, and I also like that there’s two separate playgrounds for differing ages. Theres also a splash pad for the summer months. The only downside is that it gets VERY crowded on nice days and with the park layout it’s sort of hard to keep track of where your kids are. All in all, It’s a nice park in a busy area of Centennial.

Amazing park and splash pad, we went just based off reviews and everyone is right. This park is huge, dont be fooled by pictures that make it look over crowded. There are so many different things to do that even if its packed its not really that bad. We got there around 10 and it wasnt very busy, at like 10:30 there were 4 buses that pulled up and kids poured out, I was like omg my little ones are going to be runover. But it wasnt bad at all. The kids had an amazing time and already want to go back, definitely worth it and its free!! This park has everything, big playground, little playground, sand, swings, water, shaded picnic areas, clean bathrooms, etc.

The Greater Denver area offers many, many great parks, just so you know... but THIS park is something new and different. It makes you want to be a kid again! I never had this much fun at any park when I was growing up! I enjoy getting up really early (before the crowds) and taking walks around the park. There is history to learn, native flora & fauna that has been thoughtfully planted, Beautiful rocks, views, places to sit and reflect... it all makes you feel really good. I havent attended any of the free events yet, but Im planning to! Yes, there is a lack of shade and parking. But, its a new park! The trees have to grow! In 5 years it will be spectacular!

This place is a winner for those that have kiddos. Its not a huge park and yet it is. Theyve put a lot in a small space. The splash park has been awesome for our kids. The playground itself is really nice in spring and fall when the temperatures dont make all the equipment burn their extremities. They have a unique cement slide, spider rope climb, sandbox, and more.

A fun afternoon with my 6 y.o. nephew. He had full access to climbing structures, splash pads, fountains, and rope ladders. Unavoidable negative was the large amount of kids-many unsupervised. Overall, a great resource for the community and it’s free. This is a great park for kids of all ages. Its big, clean with lots of dry and wet activities. The splash pad is excellent and you need swim wear and spare cloths for the kids. The play areas were great for kids of different ages. From slides to different climbing frames/walls slides and other obstacles. Lots of grass and covered areas to sit. Where plenty of sunscreen as it gets hot and kids not under cover and covered areas run out quick in busy times.

This park is fantastic! We spent the morning here and even though there was snow on the ground, the jungle gyms were free of snow, and most of the slides are covered. Additionally, there is a question/answer trivia walk with questions focusing on Colorado, its history, and state facts. The kids were entertained as well as the adults. The park has a water park section, which was closed, but it looks like it will be awesome in the summer on extremely hot days. Finally, and most importantly, the bathrooms were clean, heated, and open. Well worth a visit.
