Very excited to explore this store more.Unfortunately, their was a miscommunication between myself and a salesman which lead to the three star review. I purchased a safe. The store does not deliver safes but recommends a company. I was told they start at 149 for delivery. I had the safe delivered. I did not expect a $380 bill for delivery. Although he was technically correct that they did start at $149 such a statement does have a twinge of car lot sales person tactics. Asides from that the range looks great and the selection is impressive.

Centennial Gun ClubWe, my family, including our daughter and friends have done classes here. Technical classes, protection, weapons training, all done with very trained “Professionals”.We have done Ladies night there, great education, extensive training, and great ranges.State of the art ranges, clean, and we’re very well ventilated. They also have a fantastic gun smith. We have also noted the prices are a bit steep but I guess you also get what you pay for.I WOULD recommend.

Nice range, huge selection of ammo and firearms. I have been here dozens of times to shoot and it has always been great once i am into the range. The retail shop is large with a exclent selection of firearms and ammo. The service has been okay but i have had a few issues with being ignored or passed over for other customers that seemed to be members or regulars. My experience with the gun smith was also not good. They just referred me to contact the manufacturer even if i would pay to fix it rather then addressing the issues.

Excellent at wasting time. Says to register online, I go to register online only to find they dont use it for booking. Maybe dont contradict yourself? First person in line at opening today to only be told the day is booked out.Over the last two years, calling in and trying to talk to someone for a lane has been worthless. So showing up super early has been the best bet in the past. Ive never had a good enough experience here as a non-member to even contemplate paying a yearly due for the same potential awful communication and service.

I had not done any shooting in 25+ years and was very intimidated to go to a shooting range. Today I went to Centennial Gun Club and had a wonderful experience. Everybody was extremely polite and helpful. The Range Safety Officer was incredible. He explained everything and made me feel very comfortable. He was very quick to offer tips and guidance. They have an extensive selection of firearms to rent or buy, and make the whole process very simple and easy. I plan to take some classes, try different firearms and purchase something in the future. Thanks to everyone at Centennial Gun Range. I will be back!I previously went to a different place in Castle Rock and got high pressure sales and didnt feel comfortable. I never went back. Rather than show me one of the many in the case the employee just turned his back and walked away. Ive spent several thousand dollars at this store and wish Id spent it elsewhere. I will never return and recommend you dont visit at all. Even when spending money here they treat you like its a privilege to give them business. When my wife child and i went there for the 1st time just to use the range the staff was friendly and very helpful later I had a problem with one of my guns and the gunsmith took a look at it and cleaned it for free I was very surprised at that. Since I had a good experience the first time I came back with a World War 1 trench shotgun I had to take a look at it and seeing that there was a slight problem with it fixed it really quick and said it wasnt worth them charging because it was a quick fix. 1. I went to the range, and had a wonderful experience with a gal named Sara who helped me select and rent 3 weapons. When I went the first time I had a male instructor with me, he was helping with selection and technique. I tried out a few guns, was informed that one was the gun of the month and provided me with a purchase price. We left as they were closing early that day. So 5 stars for the range, and the gal who assisted me.2. Slow service and overinflated prices on the sales side are the biggest deterrent. The sales representative served all the males on the floor before acknowledging me. Would come back to shoot, probably not to buy.

I called ahead as I was looking to purchase a stun gun for my wife. They carry a nice $15 one and a $20 stun gun on their website. I spoke with an man on the phone and he told they had both in stock in their store, so I drove 30 minutes to get to them. Upon getting to their location, the first man I spoke with let me know they dont carry any stun guns at all and didnt know the difference between a stun gun and a taser. Then he hollered across the store at another man once I told him I called ahead to make sure they did. The second man was the one I spoke with on the phone and he brought us all to their section where the stun guns are located. They only had one stun gun in that section and it was $35. When I said that I called ahead to verify the price and make sure they had the one I wanted, the guy I spoke with on the phone said I didnt know they were that expensive, sorry man. Extremely frustrated to have driven all the way to their store for nothing. Their selection of gun, accessories, and ammunition are large and well displayed. Just dont expect the staff here to know what they carry or how much it costs.

Not a bad range. Ive never booked an appointment and have always gotten in a line within 5 minutes of arriving. Maybe just luck or maybe I go at ideal times for walk-ins. Check-in staff could be friendlier and more helpful for beginners. Biggest gripe is the price. $25 for an hour for one shooter, and additional fees for additional shooters. Seems steep to me. Also their gunsmith prices are very high. $75 for a trigger install. Forget about buying anything from their retail shop. Everything has about a 20-35% markup from internet prices.

This review is strictly regarding the team at legacy gunsmith inside the gun club. I recently came into possession of about 7 different guns. I first took them to Cabelas to try to sell them and was treated like some idiot. I can only assume because I didnt look like a typical gun guy they wouldnt give me the time of day or any fair offers. (jokes on you as Im a military veteran with more gun experience than they seemed to have) what a refreshing change of pace coming into see the team here. They were all super friendly and let us drop off the guns and go about our day. When we came back, they gave us the market price on all our guns, even the ones they couldnt buy. For the ones they could purchase, they made a fair price (70% of market value) and cut us a check! Even gave us an offer for a gun they they didnt originally want but did it because we sold them the ones they did! Best of all, the customer service here represents a true American way. We love our country, our guns, and our family... They treat their customers like family. For that reason, we will only do business here moving forward.

I had some gunsmith work done here by Bart Miller. My issue was a nasty chip in my rifle stock that was somewhat large and in a very bad location that significantly reduced the value and eye appeal of my rifle. Bart was able to expertly repair the chip and did a masterful job of blending the new wood with the 50 year old finish. I was impressed by the craftsmanship and the price. Its very hard to find skilled gunsmith labor for a reasonable price in the metro area but I found my new goto guy for all my future gunsmithing needs.

Edit: As per the reply, we were given range passes which is not true, we were offered passes that we declined to take as they were asking us to get back in line, who would possibly in their right mindset would be willing to get back in line after being treated like this? One of the worst experience I have ever had at a shooting range. Just imagine that we waited about 30 minutes, as we were kicked out of the line 3 times. Here is what exactly happened:We got in, waited in line for 15 minutes, once we approached the check in desk, the guy told us to watch the safety video and come back (did not need mention waiver), fair enough so we did. But when we returned, we were sent to the end of the line. After waiting for another 10 minutes, when we approached the desk again, this rude person with no manners rudely asked, How can I help you? He could nicely greeted us with a smile on his face asking, how is it going? But no, we were told to go back and fill in the waivers. So we did and when we returned, we were sent back to the end of the line again and after waiting another 10 minutes, we were told that now no lanes were available. Seriously, we think the staff is racist at this place and they just wanted us out. That old guy who treated us this bad should be fired, also Jordan, the manager should have taken some kind of action. Never going back to this place and reporting them to concerned authorities, you better believe it since it is coming from a Google Local Guide level 8.Thanks.

Pretty nice facility and good selection of items a few things could be improved however. For starters the price gouging is just outrageous and off putting. For example $17 for a box of junk range 9mm. Thats a 50% markup folks! All items in the store are priced very high with no room to negotiate. Also, the range itself is decent quality (needs more sound dampening) but the software interface is a bit clunky. The biggest problems with the range is that they dont separate rifle and pistol users. Standing next to someone shooting an assault rifle with a muzzle brake is deafening and extremely annoying. The stalls are also too narrow, your brass bounces off the stall wall and hits you in the head. The other thing is the staff themselves, slow to help you out and at anytime there is at least one employee standing behind the counter arms crossed doing nothing while the others actually work. The staff are knowledgeable but as some other reviews have noticed armed to the teeth which makes them inaccessible, it should be toned down. One thing they do really well is rentals, great selection of handguns good price and you can swap them out, that is the best part of about this place and surely drives sales for them.In short a nice store but not a place to shop if you want deals and the quality and management of the range leaves some to be desired.

I popped in to shoot for an hour. I had been there before without a reservation, but this time he gave me attitude and wouldn’t give me a lane for almost an hour even though half the lanes were unoccupied. Yesterday, I went in for the first time since the remodel. I went to the checkin counter in a round about way and was lectured by the same person on how to enter and how a line works. I know how a line works and it might have been relevant if I wasn’t the only person on that half of the building and any remote sign of a line or other people. I wrote a lengthy email about my experience and because I used two cuss words describing my frustration I was then insulted by Mary who thought my experience was a moot point because of those two words in a 1000 word email. She also told me I need to speak to her like a gentleman even though I didn’t insult her or say anything derogatory towards her. Based on the interaction with the employee and the email response from Mary, I’d say their dedication to kind service, respecting their customers, and caring if they get repeat business doesn’t exist. She claimed they respect their customers, but actions speak louder than words. I won’t be going back, I’ll also be telling my friends that go there that we should go elsewhere and any potential future customers I run into to spend their money elsewhere.

We have interacted with different staff members every time we have been here and all of them have been knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this range if you are learning to shoot. We took the First Shots class before going to the range and I recommend that as a good intro to shooting if you have never done so before.

I wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciated the work that you did on my duty weapon (Remington 870 shotgun) the other day.You quickly determined what the problem was and then went on to get it repaired and returned to me in quick order, recognizing the urgency in getting it back to me quickly as I use the weapon while on-duty .If that weren’t enough, you also took it upon yourself to give the weapon a much needed “tune up.”When I picked up my shotgun it ran smother than it ever has and it functions flawlessly. Finally, I just want to say that your customer service skills are second to none, and that your professionalism, knowledge and generosity are more than greatly appreciated.Jimmy

Usually the best indoor range and Training Facility in the Denver metro area. I would give it 5 out of 5 Stars if it was just the range and Training Facility. The retail space is nice but expect to pay MSRP or more for things. The staff is also usually courteous and nice.

My husband and I have spent a lot of time at Centennial Gun Club, not only inquiring about and purchasing from their well informed and professional staff, but have also used the shooting range on many occasions. We were impressed with the emphasis on safety and their effort to create a positive experience. We also took a class there and were very impressed with the instructors level of expertise and experience. We will definitely take more classes from them. We highly recommend stopping by!

This place is awesome. I like the range and the programmability of the target backstop. I have never seen another range like this. The gun club also has a large selection of great guns. This is a first class place. I would love to franchise at another location such as Illinois where I currently live or in Florida or Arizona. The gun ranges in Illinois s*ck and the gun stores are so-so. Centennial is the best of both worlds.

I love this club. I was brand new to all things guns when I started shooting December of last year. I went in without any knowledge of what firearm to get and the staff was fantastic and took all the time I needed to ask questions and educate me on what firearm would be best suited for me. They are top notch with their knowledge and the products they offer. The training here is fantastic as well Im looking forward to my class in the next couple weeks.

If youre a gun lover and want good prices and a wide variety of items, then Id recommend this place any day of the week. Ive purchased quite a few items from this place, and never once have I left empty handed. The staff is friendly, and knowledgeable about their products.Ill continue to bring my business here, even though its a good 50+ minute drive for me.

This was an incredible inexperience, the facility was fabulous and the employees are extremely well trained and very professional! I live in Southern California and have seen some great facilities but nothing that measures up to this one. Take my word for it when in the greater Denver area you must stop and experience this great facility!

The facility itself is excellent. What made this a less than enjoyable experience was the staff. The range officer was professional enough. But I couldnt hardly get my shooting done in the time I rented the range for all of his suggestions. You should try holding like this You would be better if it wasnt a glock, Well in the police force we do it like this., and so on. He spent a solid chunk of the time I paid for just talking shop. I didnt go there looking for his opinion. I just wanted to practice on my own. Before I got onto the range the staff that was running the register at the range wouldnt stop joking around with each other long enough for me to buy targets and get on the line. It took way too long.I wouldnt go back.Fantastic facilities. Just not what I want out of a range.

This is one of the best facilities I have been to in a very long time. The people were accommodating and knowledgeable, friendly and experienced. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the selection of gear, they had all the right brands to purchase and rent. On top of all of that their range is top notch.I would recommend and often do recommend them to everyone I know as they have awesome classes etc.5 thumbs up!

I am learning how to shoot as I feel it is a life skill I should have. I also would like to purchase a weapon for home/self defense, but know it is important to be properly trained on its use first. Centennial has provided a great place for me to go and learn how to operate a firearm. Highly recommended.

I was on vacation last month with my son and we just happened upon this big, really nice gun club. We’re not ones to pass up any gun shop (large or small) just to take a peek and see what they might have that maybe we haven’t seen.WOW, this is a nice place. We didn’t take the full tour, but had a great experience with the staff and enjoyed the quality of the establishment. We live too far away to be members and visit on a regular basis, but I would highly recommend it to anyone that is close. Upon my return home I have done a lot of research on the club and its staff and I am impressed. There is nothing close to this in my area.If anyone writes a negative review then they just need too much attention to begin with. We were covered by staff, more than willing to answer questions and help us if needed. I did purchase a holster from their shop (my souvenir for the trip) and its one of the best I have used. In fact I may do a review of it for my YouTube channel. Very nice and priced right.Stop in and take a look. If just on vacation like we were, make it a point to check this place out. Worth the trip.

The shooting range is awesome with digital target controls that include programmable distance and routines. The range officers are safety conscious and most of them are nice. I am sure all of the negative reviews on the range officers are about this one guy in particular. His people skills need some work. The storefront is priced above MSRP with an occasional deal at a weekend event.

Best staff ever! Seriously, the employees seem to be so happy to work there and extremely helpful. My shooting experience there was made great because i had some one really close by for assistance and helpful hints. Ive gone to a lot of shooting ranges through out the US and this was my favorite. Thanks guys

This is a family friendly place that is more than just a range. Theyre one of the most knowledgeable, non pressured, & information based gun/accessories retail store. They have classes, certified gun smiths, and outgoing sales associates. Theyve never made me or my wife feel stupid for asking a question about a gun, its operation, or training. Thank you Centennial Gun Club for consistently raising the bar.

I have had a great business relationship with CGC for close to 8 years now. Sometimes, just ammo and accessories visits until I became a member. Ive had great range experiences, incredibly wise shooting suggestions, excellent demos, explanations all around. Highest recommendation for this home away from home. Encouraging and safe environment Ive taken several guests to with great results.

My wife and I own guns but are not very experienced shooters. We came in for the first time today, all the staff were smiling, very friendly, and more than happy to help us. Our RO Caesar was EXTREMELY nice and helpful, he gave us a few quick shooting tips that greatly improved our accuracy. We are excited to become members and star taking classes. Thanks everyone at CGC!

Centennial Gun Club is the highest quality gun range in the Denver metro area!!!The staff are all really great people!!! They are knowledgable, helpful, very professional and they treat everyone with respect. They dont have any of the attitude that you find at the majority of ranges.I highly recommend Centennial to anyone from expert marksmen to never held a gun in your life. For beginners, Centennial has probably the best staff of instructors anywhere in Colorado.
