I brought my hiking group here last week and they absolutely loved it. The creek runs along the trail so you can enjoy the babbling brooks and jump in if you get hot! The historic house from the 1800s is super cool. Def worth checking out if you can find it..I love finding hidden gems like these in North Austin!
Great trail. Access from Zennor ct., 2769, or Bella Vista Park. The original bridge that could be used to access the cave is gone but you can still cross to get there.
Nice break back to the wilderness.
Quite beautiful trail
For full hike park at Zennor Court and rough it south all the way to historic log house. Do not forget to go check out the large wide cave in the side of the limestone hillside (i.e. indian cave). It is hidden in the woods upslope in the west area. It takes some work to find it. From the main concrete walkway, when you see small wooden bridge that is where you cross from east to west, then hike quite awhile upslope to the west until you reach cave.
Good hiking
A quiet and well-hidden park. Terrain off the pathway is not easy for young kids.
Great hiking park mixed with concrete paths and picnic tables. Good exploring places for twelve year olds.
I live adjacent and walk daily with my dog
Great
