Very spacious park with ample parking on weekdays. There is a basketball court, two horse shoe areas and field at the lower level. Multiple walk in covered picnic/BBQ areas. Large Play structure surrounded by benches at upper parking level. Beautiful Bay views are visible 180 degrees northwest to southeast!

Spacious and clean local park. Great for the neighborhood but distant from any other visitor. Security (lite) on-site, large green areas, walking path, picnic areas, places for the kids, and some old oak trees.

This is a great park with a nice view of the bay. Theres both sunny and shady areas with plenty of seating. The play area is nice and kept our kids entertained for a couple hours. The walking path is also nice and will take you around to the various picnic areas. We came on the weekend, and other than a couple parties, it was quiet.

One of the lesser known parks in Castro Valley. One play structure for ages 2-12. A few trails available - good number of people come to walk their dogs here.

I went here with my son for the first time last week and w had a really relaxing and good time! The view was really nice and there werent many people at all (maybe 5 total while we were there for about 3 hours) so it was nice and quiet and he had pretty much free reign of the playground. There is enough stuff in the playground to keep a kid occupied for a while (a few slides, swings, and a few other things to play on) We will definitely be going back

Very steep drive up to Beautiful views of the Bay. Nice playground with restrooms close by. Lots of shaded picnic areas, hiking paths and basketball court. The parking lot is very small and there are some steep areas that could be difficult/dangerous for small children and the elderly.

Very nice place for short hike, there is a childrens play area, basketball court, and picnic area. You can also enjoy the beautiful view of the bay. Respect the privacy of local residents as you drive up thru a quiet residential area. Not a place for noisey non-nature loving people.

This park is far up the canyon, but it a cute park. Its far from any roads and separated enough from the parking lot that the kids dont play over there at all. There is a good play structure with four slides and monkey bars. It got two toddler swings, two kid swings, a tire swing, and three bouncy things to sit on and rock. Its accessible for toddlers and up, but it is a tan bark ground, so not too good for little babies who eat things. Plenty of seating and some good shade within close proximity of the playground. There is a bathroom. There is a sidewalk that goes all the way around the playground, so the kids can ride bikes in a big circle and never leave your sight. The only downside is there are no fences between the playground and the hill dropoffs. There is a grassy buffer before the dropoff, but you still need to keep watch that younger dont go running down the hill. Overall a great park, though
