This place is kind of amazing, here were a couple of my favorites and don’t miss the kids table for some drawings and one of those things you stick your head through and take a goofy picture.But, seriously this place is awesome, it was $5 a head and we were LITERALLY the only people there the whole time on a Saturday.She’s bored, do it.

I stumbled upon the Nic while my family and I were in town for the eclipse. The kid-friendly eclipse stations were adorable! My three year old niece was thrilled. The child size door to the kids room was amazing. I enjoyed the actual museum art myself. I loved that it was very WY specific. Thank you for creating things for kids to do! The gift shop also had the best eclipse t-shirts around. (I wish I could post pictures of the kids room, but I dont want to post pictures of the kids themselves)

Had my daughters bd party there when she was younger, it was amazing. The kids enjoyed the art they set up. For them to do as well as the other activities. For children they have. Great for younger childrens parties!

We met up with our granddaughter and went to visit. Some very unique collections and cool pieces made with parts some people would just discard.

Free admission on Sundays. Lovely place.

Nice small contemporary art museum with good exhibitions and enjoyable gift shop with a great deal of locally made pieces at reasonable prices.

There are a variety of art based activities here and there really is something for everyone. They have a drop in class on the first Saturday of every month for 2 to 6 year olds. My daughter loved it and we got two awesome art pieces to bring home. It was well woth the $10 and I love that working parents can make this class! Wonderful gem for Casper.

Attended a wedding and from what I did see it looked like a great museum. I wish I could have come during business hours to see more!

Small but nice. An interactive area for children.

Changing collections and a few permanent paintings make this a fun stop each time I am in Casper.

Refreshing place. Very well set up, comfortable environment, welcoming, friendly, and relaxing. The membership paid for itself on the first visit, and felt profitable when Corb came to play! Thanks guys!

Im the middle of a small city. . .this place is wonderful. Whoever curates the exhibit does a bang up job.

Super awesome museum and free on Sundays. Also a good place to unwind and destress while driving across Wyoming

We enjoyed the free night they had during the Art Walk to see the local school childrens artwork. They had a childrens jazz band playing too. Not a huge place, we made it through in about a half hour.

Seen Opera by request. It was wonderful. People behind us wouldnt stop talking even after being asked to quiet down by others around them.

Always welcomed here. We have small children and we love to go and spend time in the Discovery center. Great place for children to paint and try different art activities.

I took my kids to the yearly family fun night and we had a great time.

Went with my wife this summer and enjoyed it a lot. Of special note (although we had no children with us): the activity boxes available for checkout by kids and the thought-provoking questions placed near many of the artworks. The staff is friendly and helpful and the art is varied and worth the trip to see. For a little town, this is a big-town art museum.

I was there because of a school function, so it was free. Otherwise I would not like to pay to get in as there really isnt much to see there. Its a very pretentious atmosphere; wine is available on donation, and people werent friendly

The art is Wyoming-specific with one main gallery. Some other smaller rooms had varied art pieces. The childrens area was really nice, where the kids could create their own art projects and interact.

What an amazing space for Casper! What a great mix of culture and art. Seriously, if youre looking for a wedding, birthday or anniversary, go the Nic!

Museum looks fun and interesting, so i wont give it one star; however, they were charging $10 for Sunday admission due to the eclipse. Their website says admission is normally $5, and free on Sunday. Nowhere does it show that theyre trying to get every dollar they can due to a cosmological rarity. I wouldnt have taken any issue with this if it were disclosed on the website.

NIC put on a good show for the kids.

This place is full of awesome art and in a few of the rooms you can make thinks like a modeled face or even do a puppet show

Fifth grade art exhibit was very cool, the kids had a great time at art club

Visited the facility for a Halloween event. It was poorly organized and not very good considering they charged entry. It was extremely busy and chaotic inside. The layout was not supportive of the volume of people inside. Would most likely avoid it in the future for large events, but might attend some of the smaller things.

Non Members not welcomed Mondays or Tuesdays thu they do have classes on Tuesdays. Must keep them tourist at bay.

Ive been going to the Nicolaysen Art Museum for several weeks now. They have several different art displays that are very interesting to see.
