Took my grandkids and a dog on a bike ride through the woods. Lots of fun exploring, restroom available, great for a quick mountain top experience with young kids!

Great place to tent it for a night or ten

Located just north of the city of Casper. We camped at the end of the season where night temperatures reached 32 degrees. The check in process was easy and can be done at any hour alone. The camping spots are spacious and provide privacy. Be warned there is no reception for any carrier but Verizon.

Beautiful and guiet

Beautiful drive up the mountain in the evening and got to the top for a beautiful start to sunset! There were plenty of campsites available in a few of the sites so I found one I liked with pretty level ground and had a nice night!

Literally sleeping on the side of a highway - cars and trucks will light you up with high beams all night

Beautiful camping spots in the mountains near Casper. Surrounded by pine trees and camps. $10 per night permit required, available at the entrance.

Nice space

Nice mountain biking trails in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter. The best part is that its only 20 minutes from Casper.
