Played the highlands course. Grounds are very well kept. Great staff. What is not to love.

I had my bridal shower and wedding here . It’s really nice. They have SO MANY RESTRICTIONS for someone who wants out of the box ideas or things that are not traditional it’s hard. They also charge for things you bring in just for allowing you to bring them. (Ex: sparklers for bride and groom exit. You have to bring everything and they charge you just to allow you to do it outside on the steps - not allowed inside the building.) overall the wedding was great but it’s VERY VERY costly.

This is a different perspective since I used to work there. The place is ok, with nice surroundings and well-maintained golf courses. The Managers are some of the worst in the business but don’t focus on them or you will only last 2 months tops. The employees are the nicest but some have tendencies to get mad at the Managers and then take their anger out on their fellow co-workers.If you work events (weddings, X-Mas parties, holidays, SAS Tournament, …), you will have opportunities to brush shoulders with illegal immigrants (“temps”). They are the most visible and are there in large numbers.Overall, the flexible schedules, fantastic food and cool employees will keep you coming back year after year.Pros: Five-Star Food and amenitiesCons: Illegal Immigrants (“Temps”)

Nice Country Club, but I was there to visit a clients home, and didnt really experience fully what Prestonwood Control Club has to offer.

Came here with a few colleagues. One of us is a member here. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Beautiful golf course, spacious dining halls. Not crowded. Food was delicious at a reasonable price.

An elegant club with a focus on golf. They also have tennis, swimming and fitness. The food is superb. Several sites for meetings and events, weddings, etc. Ballroom can host hundreds.

Attend office party at Prestonwood Country Club. The food was good. Not too sure if the club catered it or not. They had everything from chicken salad to prime rib. All kinds of sushi and tuna appetizers. The decorations were wonderful very beautiful and elegant. Really nice time spent at Prestonwood.

Prestonwood is a five star country club. The golf course is incredible and the amenities are flawless.We’ve had years of successful tennis lessons with wonderful pros that treat us like family.The pool was perfect for our family. The large main pool was great for adults and children, with a big slide to entertain the kids. There’s also an additional lap pool and kiddie pool. I can’t speak highly enough about the swim team. Our family has participated for years and our summers would not have been the same without that activity for the kids.And finally, the food. The main dining hall boasts an impressive buffet with incredible food and a carving station. The red fox is a casual bar/restaurant for golfers and casual lunchers alike. The staff and food is decent but you mostly come for the convenience.

Beautiful Country Club and well laid out for our meeting. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, with a large selection of good and well prepared food. the staff were very attentive and the meeting room was great. Excellent acoustics. really enjoyed the visit especially since the speaker was Bob Burg. brilliant business man with philosophy of Go-Giver

Very lovely and good food. Buffet style dinner is what we were served and it was very nice. Staff friendly and quick to make sure your table has what it needs.

This visit was nothing short of amazing!! My aunt had her 90th birthday party here and it was such a great time. The brunch buffet was fabulous and there was nothing missing on the buffet as far as breakfast, lunch, seafood, salad, fruit, etc. The service was great and the clubhouse is beautiful.

This review is strictly for hosting work seminars there during lunchtime. They always have the rooms set up exactly how we want it. They offer projectors, av carts, etc. The food is fantastic and is a buffet. They assign a server and you never even notice them during the event.Overall a great place and we do an event here at least twice if not more times a year.

Amazing venue, wonderful staff.

Very nice staff. They take your plate when you leave for the buffet and even fold your napkins for you! Theyre both extremely helpful but stay out of your way! Great balance for a waiter

Excellent venue for our meetings and banquets. Every one loves the salads, vegetables, entees and desserts. Beautiful surroundings with nice natural backdrops provided by ample windows.

Im not a member, but had the opportunity to enjoy the lunch buffet here as a guest. This review is limited to their lunch buffet.The service was efficient and friendly. Theres a nice salad bar with the buffet with fresh greens and an assortment of fruit and veggies. I rate the salad bar a 4 or 4.5.The main buffet has bakee potatoes, rice, and a vegetable side. Theres usually 3 choices of meat, including a poultry and pork or beef. Sometimes theres a fish or lamb option too. Ive always found their beef and pork to be lacking tenderness. Given that, I rate the buffet a 3.5 or 4.The final portion of the meal is the dessert table, which was a real pleasure. If you like chocolate, the Preston Pie is a must try. They have probably 10 different desserts to choose from, all good. 5 stars for the dessert. So go easy on the meat and save room for the sweets.

Great golf tournament

The Eastern NC Section of IEEE held its Awards Banquet at the beautiful Prestonwood CC. The banquet area was beautifully decorated with trees, other greens, and lights. As usual, the food was delicious, and they had a wide variety of foods.

This place is amazing. Beautiful course. Had a wonderful time.

My husband and I got married at Prestonwood Country Club, and we could not have been happier with our choice! Jo-Anne and Kathy made sure our day went smoothly and were so easy to work with. They made sure my husband and I were comfortable and that we had what we needed the whole time. The venue looked so beautiful and there was plenty of room inside and for parking making it so comfortable and easy for all of our guests. It was an absolute dream of a day!

Very beautiful establishment! The staff and servers are very polite and friendly. It is always very clean and well kept. The number one thing I appreciate in any establishment is how clean the bathrooms are! I know that sounds funny but it is always super clean!

We held a reception here - approximately 90 people for a lunch/afternoon reception. Jo-Anne was amazing to work with. She took care of every detail prior to the event and was incredibly responsive to email. The staff working the reception were all professional, helpful, and nice. Many guests complimented the buffet, and especially the dessert buffet. Honestly, I was busy with my professional work leading up to the event and never even asked details about the assorted desserts and I was floored by the variety, quantity and quality. Thanks so much for the worry-free experience.

Prestonwood is part of the Preston Golf Community. Its a premier community located in the heart of Cary NC. There are a variety of homes in the neighborhood. Restaurants, Retail, and medical facilities are located nearby. Prestonwood has 3 golf courses, tennis, swim club, and much more. Ive had the opportunity to have lunch at Prestonwood Country Club many times as well as attend events there. It is one of the best lunch buffets around. There is more to choose from than you can consume. If youre vegetarian youll find plenty to choose from. If youre dieting or watching what you eat there are also many options. Of course, they do have an impressive dessert display including the Preston Pie and my personal favorite the bread pudding.

Good food great service!

I was there for a business meeting. The club is immaculate, well run, and well laid out. The meeting room was very nice and conveniently located. The lunch buffet was good, with a nice variety of foods from which to choose. I would be happy to go back for additional meetings in the future.

Beautiful, well maintained grounds and buildings. Our meal was roast beef, salmon and pecan crusted chicken with garlic mashed potatoes, seasoned veggies and tossed salad. It was delicious!

We had a small wedding here, and the Prestonwood was an excellent venue. Staff was amazing, food and pastry chef made wedding cake were excellent. Pricing was much lower than many other places and a really good value. Thank you for making the day extra special.

I am a member at Prestonwood and I love the daily lunch buffet! I just took my mom there to celebrate her 82nd birthday. Its always so well maintained and the food is amazing.

Played golf here at a organizational golf tournament. Swanky clubhouse and very nice course.Edit: Played here again yesterday at another tournament. Man this course is excellent. Great to perfect shape. 5 stars.

Everything was great ,when I walked in the venue its an open area, every spacious, and after you have decorated the venue everything start coming together and it looks so marvelous ,and not only that the people there are so nice and takes good care of you at the venue, if anyone pick this venue they pick the very best one in Cary they will make sure that everything is in place for the whole event you would not have to take care of anything.The food is good, when you have tasted it for the first time the food is even better for the second time.

Prestonwood Country Club is generally recognised as one of North Carolinas top-quality golf venues, which offers three very good tree-lined and open parkland layouts: Fairways, Meadows and Highlands. The courses provide a wonderful test for your all-round game with many excellent holes to enjoy. This is a private course generally playable only by members and their guests.

Nice place for a meeting. Venue was great. Buffet was varied and abundant. Staff were friendly. Morning parking was a little tough. Had to park by tennis courts for clubhouse meeting.

The food was delicious, with lots of gluten free options. Perfect meeting space!

Beautiful courses. Greens fast but excellent condition. Fairways ideal and easy to hit off. The rough is thick and not somewhere you want to be alot if you want to hit the greens considently.

JUST AWFUL!!! Not only the buffet line was either out of food or the food was cold, the service was even worse. Drink glasses never filled unless we flagged someone down. We were stacking dirty plates in the middle of our table. Cocktails took forever to be delivered. Being seated near the hostess stand, I kept seeing the hostess helping herself to food off the buffet with her bare hands. Also 2 individuals, seemingly managers (black woman and white man) were arguing the whole night next to the dessert buffet that was depleted of desserts and plates. The positive note about the evening was that when i received my monthly bill, I was not charged for over $100 worth of cocktails and wine : )

Restriped the parking lot for a golf tournament they were preparing for. People were very friendly.

Best place to eat if you want a fancy dinner. The food is excellent.

I really enjoyed the beauty and the tall ceilings, but the food was a bit of a let down. It was a little hit or miss, but apparently it has that reputation. If I were a member here, Id be upset that the quality isnt better. It ought to be good enough that Id genuinely want to eat there, not adequate. One thing I appreciated was how attentive the wait staff were. Theres better restaurants in town, but the beauty of the place and the view of the courses outside will always impress.

Very expensive membership. Who on earth will pay $40,000 for a membership. Full of snobby rich (white) people. I avoid going here. Place where the white wealthy golf and eat while everyone else works a low wage job. Sad for the enormous wealth and racial disparity in this country.

The food at Prestonwood is always excellent. Their luncheon Buffet is outstanding. Great Fruit & salads, but the best of all is there extensive dessert table.

I attended a Holiday luncheon with my work group at Prestonwood. The dining hall was beautiful as was the staff. From the buffet, I cant say the food was to my liking. I found some of the meats to be dry and a but tough, while some of the sides were cold. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and when I went to take a sip of my drink, I found an ant on my lemon. When I called it to the attention of the server who was assigned our table, he was very apologetic. At the time, he did not offer me anything more. Later when he came to refill the tables drinks, he apologized again and asked if I wanted anything else. A few moments after that, the floor manager, I think, who was an older African American woman came over and apologized. She offered to remove one meal from the members lunch tab. And that was that. That was satisfactory for the member, but what about the person who had the bad experience.All in all, the event was nice and my co-workers all seemed to enjoy the outing. As I said, the wait staff but was very apologetic, but I feel as if more could have been done.

A university graduation event was held here that I had the privilege of attending. The location and facilities were beautiful, clean, and luxurious, and the food was well-arranged and cooked to perfection. The docked star is for the rather disorganized wait staff: throughout the meal they had trouble delivering the vegetarian and gluten-free menu options to the correct people (though in the end everyone received the appropriate food). Other than that one complaint, everything else was pristine, and I would highly recommend it.

Truly was worth the drive. The buffet lunch was excellent with a nice array of hot and cold selections as well as the desserts. I do plan on going back again for the next WIRE luncheon meeting for sure!
