Weve been to Monkey Joes in Cary 4-5 times now and each time has been a pleasant experience. We just had a birthday party there and they assign an employee that is dedicated to your party. They served the drinks, cut the cake, setup candles on the cake, and took the stress off of us. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Not a huge fan of the place, but it wasnt terrible. I went a few months ago with my 2 1/2 year old. He had a pretty good time, though due to his age there was only one bounce house he was actually able to get inside of without being trampled by all the big kids (or simply not being able to climb because he was too small) he was too old for the toddler area and got bored. The lighting is VERY dim which made it difficult for me to keep track of him in a room FULL of other loud running children. In addition, the layout of the place makes it difficult to see your child from one location. The parent lounge (a few benches against the wall and a few picnic tables in the middle of the floor) is at one end of the room where most of the big bounces are, but the snack bar and a couple other play areas are obscured from view due to the layout. Any time my son went past a certain point Id have to chase after him just to be able to see him. Get better lighting and move the stupid bounce house in the middle of the floor and it might be more entertaining. Ive been to these types of places before that were set up MUCH better with bright lights, bounce houses all along the PERIMETER of the room instead of scattered in the middle and a better snack bar. At this place, the pizza was all out so we just got popcorn instead. My son had a good time but it was stressful for me.

When this place is busy...its BUSY. I would not recommend going on a rainy day or on the weekends during the middle of the day because it is BEYOND Busy. With that being said, even with 20ish kids or less, this place is AWESOME! My wife and I bring our 2 girls here ALL the time (during the off-hours, which is first thing in the morning during the week or the last 1.5 hours before they close during the week) and my girls have an awesome time. They are 20 months and 3.5 years old and both have been coming since they were able to walk. It really has helped my girls develop their balance and walking skills. It takes 3-5 visits for the new walkers to really get ahold of it, but at 18 months, both have been able to climb the tallest slide there on their own.

SPOILED MY KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTY. We were waiting and waiting for pizza for about 1 hour. They should had got the pizza at the time they have given to us. They say that there is traffic on the way, so the delivery guy got stuck. Do you think he got stuck for 1 hr for 10 min drive? All the guests went away. And we were left with all the pizzas. I will never ever do a party at MJs or visit it. Worst experience in my whole life in organizing a such a party. Guests were not happy and neither were we. Did not like they way they organized it. When they do not allow food from outside they should had got the food on time. Do not organize any parties here otherwise MJs will make you embarrassed in front of your guests. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I really wanted to say that I loved Monkey Joes, but there were a few drawbacks to this inflatable playground. I took my 2 kids, aged 4 and 7 and they had a blast. The place is quite large, with a slightly sad area for parents to lounge in. There are massage chairs (for an extra cost you can turn them on) and there are two tvs with the sound turned off, but captioned. My concerns were about the metal rack/cubbies where you place your belongings not being secured to the wall enough. They seemed kind of tippy. The bounce houses themselves were dark inside, though the kids didnt care. And the snackbar was filled with not enough healthy choices. I really did like this place though, the quality and fun factor of the bounce houses themselves, the determination of the staff to keep kids from running and roughousing. Lots of seating on the sides of the room for a break. I would definitely take my kids back to play here again. I just wished for better lighting and a better lounge area for the grown-ups as was advertised on their website.

I was not super impressed. Some of the staff was very unfriendly to my small kids. I am sure that by the end of the day they are tired but the place is supposed to be all about fun for kids. Will not return to this location.

Dont bring anyone under 3. Took my 2 year old and they have 1 bouncey house for 2 years old. Too small for adults to go in, so kids are too scared to use it. Dont come unless youre up for chasing your 2 year old through the bouncey houses.
