I went to The Cat Friday, Nov 1 2019 for The Carmel Spectrum Players show. I admit I am struggling to separate the venue from the show. The theatre was clean and comfortable, with reasonable price for concessions. The show was one of the best things Ive ever seen! My daughter and I did not know any of the kids, or their parents, and we simultaneously laughed and cried for the entire event. My daughter said on the way home, My heart is so full!. I do not know the proprietors of The Cat, but I do know they donated the venue for the show, so I can say with some certainty, this place is run by good people.

Play was outstanding. Venue could have been better. Chair rows are too close together. And bathroom facilities are inadequate for the size of the venue.

I visited the Cat to support a friend who was in a play. I really enjoyed the play but the CAT was not very impressive at all.First of all Im sure it doesnt help that I am a DOG person and not very fond of cats. There were pictures and statues of cats everywhere. I also did not like the fold-up seating. On a positive note they did sell WINE!

Melissa Schott was awesome! The seating at the tables was extremely cozy. From the seats in rows nearly impossible to see. There are no risers and the seats are directly aligned. So a tall person in the front row ruins the view of the 4 people behind him/her.

This was our first visit here. We saw The Butler Did It, Again! and absolutely loved it. The show was stellar and I have great appreciation for the intimate feeling of the venue. We will definitely be back!

Wonderfully intimate space to experience a show. So many talented actors and theater companies put up shows there. Plenty of dining choices in the area for before the show as well.

The Cat Theater is new to the area and has shown itself to be a well organized home for community arts. The theater employs local artists ranging from high school students to retired performers, resulting in a rich mixture of talent and professionalism. The theater provides free parking in the surrounding areas, a humorous theme across the building, and an intimate performance space for the best entertainment experience.

Small theater with excellent productions. Musicals, comedy, and drama all done in a very professional manner with both local amateurs actors, singers, musicians, dancers and seasoned professionals from all areas of theater. Not too expensive, available parking close by as well as restaurants and pubs.
