This is a nice, quiet, little place to go when you want to get away from it all. Very relaxing. Parking takes a little patience as the lot is often full, but people come and go so it just takes a little time. Well worth the visit.

Kettle Cove is a nice place to relax and get some time next to the ocean. There’s beach areas, rocky areas, walking paths through the trees and along the beach, and ‘outhouse’ style toilets available if needed. It does tend to have a lot of traffic during the summer, but there’s usually a space or two you can find for yourself.

Nice, quiet beach. I saw a crab in a tidal pool. Lots of pretty shells. There are paths with wild roses and other flowers growing alongside them, and at some points I could smell apples. You can see lobster boats from the beach.

It was a nice and less crowded beach. Our kids were having fun by building sand castles. The restrooms were very clean. We went during early Spring and felt jackets wont be needed. But all of a sudden the climate became very cold, and my little one started shivering. So we packed up and left the beach. Have to revisit some other time.

This is an amazing spot on the southern central maine coast. Its close to Portland and stunningly beautiful to experience. There are walk paths around the rock coves and they are worth exploring. Just be careful if you go during this winter time of year to mind your steps where its frozen and slippery ice (down by the water and rocks in particular)

A beautiful small state park, with lower entrance fee charged here (fee monies paid in green iron ranger container near parking lot). Most folks buy the annual season pass before coming to visit the park. A great area to relax and hang out, with basic facilities for a small state park. Its a great place to hike and relax on small cove beach and swim or snorkel. Dog owners should be more mindful to do much more to pick up all pet waste on trails, park area lawns, etc. & stay off the beaches April-October.
