Another jewel in the Maine state park system. Lots of parking, a bath house and easy access to one of Southern Maines fine sand beaches. Nestled in the woods just off the beach are secluded picnic areas. Definitely a great day trip for young and old.

Really enjoyed this beach. It’s pretty dope since it’s a “Natural Beach.” There are A LOT of seaweed in the beach but at least the water is clear for the most part. The beach also haves lots of seashells and beautiful rocks all over. The beach does get a little crowded but when I went it wasn’t that bad. If you want to go for a small hike to walk the beach has small trails to do so.There is a fee of $8 each I think. You can also have BBQ here I believe!

Nice beach. Decent snack bar though I didnt see anything vegan. Below the high tide line there are some rocks in the sand and you have to get through some seaweed to get to clear water but good swimming.

Even though it rained while we were there, we found beautiful rocks and some sea glass to appreciate. The cormorants in the distance, boats and surf added to the ambiance. Next time well visit on a more hospitable day, weather-wise.

True to its name....Beautiful Crescent Beach . We visited in the first week of June... the water was icy cold as expected.... running/walking on the white sandy beach with the clean breezy air was an awesome experience. They charged us an entry fee of $8 which is reasonable considering the cleanliness of the beach. Moreover I would say, an insect repellent would come in handy as there were a few mosquitoes. Will definitely visit this place again.

Beautiful area which gives everyone space to socially distance and still enjoy a beach day. Plenty of parking within a short walk to the beach. Lifeguards, snack bar, kayak and paddleboard rentals. They rake the beach before opening. Wonderful staff. And if you need a break from the sun, there are shaded picknick tables.

Although we had to wait in line a while to get in, I love that they are limiting the number of people that are allowed in. The beach was pretty full, but there was plenty space for safely enjoying the day without worry. The park staff is always very friendly. The only reason I give a 4 is because mother nature always dumps a lot of seaweed on the beach and you have to wade through it to get to deeper water.

One of the best beach spots in all of the greater Portland area. Plenty of sandy beach for everyone to have their own little slice of heaven by the sea. The snack bar in the summertime is a nice addition as well. The entry fee is quite reasonable, with easy access to the park from Route 77.

Nice beach with unique rocks. There is a good large sandy beach area that is good for sand castles and playing. There are nice rocks around the beach. A great beach to swim in the ocean from. Despite it being a cold day, the water was great (after the initial shock). The sand was warm on my feet, and it wasnt too rocky. The changing rooms and bathroom were alright too. The bathroom was a bit dark, but the stalls were painted yellow to brighten it up. The curtains on the changing room moved in the breeze.

Prices for admissions are fair but should be supplemented for young kids and seniors. The beach is beautiful and it is not to far away from any store. It’s always clean and well kept so you never have to worry about the dangers of broken glass or crushed cans when taking your young ones to the beach. Definitely worth taking a trip to this beach if your looking for a nice day spent at the ocean shore.

Price of entry was a tad more than Id usually be willing to pay but there was plenty of parking and definitely not as crowded as Id imagine for a beach. Nice beach, tons of parking, and a big building with showers, changing rooms and bathrooms. The beach itself is great for walking, theres a little stream thats fun for kids to play in when theres no algae bloom. Theres also an island not far off shore; you can rent kayaks and paddle out there on fairly calm water. The beach gets pretty busy on the weekends and nice days, but not nearly as bad as the well known tourist beaches. Lots of families at this beach.

Ive been going since I was a kid. I love it. Its gorgeous. I love the changing rooms, bathrooms and cold showers too rinse all the sand off at the end of the day.We are a active military family so the only down fall lately is we have always gotten in free with our kids. Since last year they have always bothered us at the gate and tried to charge us. They tried to make me pay for my kids but then I told them we never pay when active. They agreed and let us through. This does not happen all the time, some times they just wave us through with our plates. So, Im confused as to why they stop me now and then. Other than that, the spot is so worth going too.️

It says the park closes at sunset HOWEVER apparently if you park after 8 a very grumpy mean park ranger is going to come snap his fingers and scream at you. No seriously. He snapped his fingers and said hurry up lets go youre keeping me up. Very nasty and rudely. My beautiful few hours in the park waiting for sunset were cut short (although it says theyre open til sunset...) This is after I gave double the park fee as a donation so....thanks park ranger for ruining my night and being truly mean and awful and for treating me like less than a human. My memories of this beautiful place are now tainted, Im erasing all pictures so hopefully I can erase this memory.
