This is where I take Big Mac. They take good care of him, and we are able to watch him play and get exercise. We always book the biggest room because Mac is 196 pounds and 610 on his back legs. They let us bring his own bed, water and food stand, etc. Its a clean facility, and the staff is always very nice and seem to care. Their vet costs are on par with other local vets. You get what you pay for. There are plenty of dirty, ant infested, hot facilities with staff who dont care, yell at the pets, keep them locked away, etc. Our dog is family. I hate having to leave him anywhere, so I want the best for him at least.

My babies love it at Pet Coral, they take very good care of them whether its for Vet care or daycare! My deaf boy got injured one day at daycare, they were on top of it, they treated him at no charge to me and apologized that he was injured while in their care. PLEASE BE Warned....Do not board your dog here. I trusted them for 12 days with my dog and found out that my dog was hurt while I was gone. The really horrible part was that the employees lied and tried to cover up that my dogs paws were burned 2 times from being left outside by himself on the hot pavement to long. The only reason I found out was the manager who was great at first found out what happened. She says that the employee was fired, and that’s great for other people. But there way of fixing the issue with us was by offering a credit to there facility, why would they think we would go back after our dog was abused. When I tried to contact the manager after there horrible way of fixing this she is no longer available to be reached and won’t respond to emails. Very unprofessional after as much as we spent for them to take care of our dog.UPDATE ON MANAGEMENT REPLY: A credit of $100.00 for your business is not a settlement. Why would we come back. After spending hundreds of dollars to be lied too. Oh an I did try and reach you and you never called back or replied to my email I sent last week.

Due to Covid19, lost track of date until I saw it was time to give my dog her heartworm med and I was out. PetCoral vet got me in the same day. It was a no contact visit. I called when I got there. They came out and took my dog, even carried her so her feet wouldnt get too hot on the pavement. Gave her a heartworm test and carried her back to my car! Cant thank them enough for such tender care!

I love Pet Coral, I have 3 Himalayan cats. I take them to be groomed and also to the vet there. They treat my cats like they are their own. I checked out a few other vets and groomers when I got here and the other groomers didn’t want to groom the cats and if they did they wanted to sedate them and would only shave them down. I highly recommend Pet Coral I will not take my babies anywhere else.

Friendly staff and great with animals. Love their facility and I love that my dog enjoys staying there for the daycare program. It is a bonus that I can watch my dog on their webcams and I like the fact that they have a pool for the dogs.

They saw my sisters pet to the end. The love and compassion was so appreciated. This is genuinely a pet friendly location.

I paid for Sunday and watched the cameras all day but no one let my dogs out. :( The beds came back smelling like pee and my dogs never pee in them. *shrug*

Groomer at this facility does a nice groom on my toy poodle. The dog does not get stressed out as she had with other groomers (I wouldnt take her back to them), is very nicely groomed and is happy upon pick up. The convenience of the vet there works well as I am able to book appointments on same day and the Doctor is great with animals. I really like the idea of the Doggy Daycare though Ive not used it yet. I have seen the dogs outside playing and the dog sitters with them. They appear to have a good handle on the dogs as they interact.

My cat had gotten out of the house one night, and made it to one of my neighbors, unbeknownst to me. My neighbor, acting semi responsibly, took the cat to this Vet to check for an identification chip (the cat is indeed chipped). Due to apathy, incompetence, or some combination of the two, this Vet failed to correctly read the cats identification chip, and proceeded to perform medical tests on my cat at the expense of my neighbor. My neighbor would then not give me the cat back until they had been reimbursed for the tests performed at this Vet. Do not use this Vet. The Better Business Bureau has been contacted. They also have a knack for deleting negative reviews on google and yelp. I have this text saved and will repost it every time they delete this review. DO NOT USE THIS VET.

I’d give it a 0 star but I can’t they gave my friends dog back with scaring on his face an it acted like it hadn’t ate or drank in awhile they also broke his harness

Horrible experience. My dog stayed for 2 nights. On the second day of her stay I couldn’t locate her on any of the webcams. When I called I was told, after an incredibly long hold time, that she had an issue with her paw earlier that day, that it was “splitting open” so they removed her from day care. No one called to tell me that my dog was hurt and no longer in the daycare. They assured me that her paw was fine so they would being her back out to daycare. She spent the rest of the day laying by herself because her paw was clearly still injured. Picked her up this morning only to find her limping and barely able to put weight on her front paws. The pads are clearly burned from the turf of the outdoor area. Despite their assurances that the bring the dogs inside every 15-20 minutes to avoid overheating they leave them out for at least an hour at a time. Needless to say my dog will not be returning.

Had my Himalayan cat Lala groomed here for the past five years without incidence and other cats and dogs for 20 years in five different states, and none ever under sedation. He has always been the most gentle cat. Suddenly this last week I was told that the cat would be sedated for the grooming for an additional $68 as per new policy. My wife who is a registered nurse later found out from my daughter in law who is a practicing veterinarian in Virginia that the 3 drugs administered to our cat had the potency and efficacy for surgery and were definitely contraindicated and unnecessary! My poor cat was groggy and ill for 2 days. Will never go to Pet Coral resort again!

Definitely pricey. They give expensive medicines you can order elsewhere for at least half as much. There is always another expensive food or additive that needs to be given. Nothing changes with your dog. Also today she had a grooming appointment at noon. I walked in at 3:30 and the groomer just started. Front desk is friendly but lots of double talk when you ask for explanations of fees. Going on 5 still waiting. Groomer backed up or over scheduled to make more money at expense of client’s time. Somewhat annoying.I was asked to edit my review. The staff discussed my concerns and stated it was a busy holiday time. They discussed how they might take feedback and improve their services. The business seems to be growing and very rapidly. My dog likes pet coral and is very familiar with staff. I greatly appreciate that they contacted me about my review to try and make the experience better for all. Hope pet coral contains to do well and discuss matters with their customers.

My dog loves it here! i felt bad boarding him when we went out of town a few times until i saw how excited he gets when we go there. the staff is great and they have cameras in the daycare so you can see what your dog is doing. its also a vet and groomer so you can have them groomed or get shots while they are there. would highly recommend this place for boarding.

I started taking my pet to this facility over a year ago and he loves it!All the staff are very friendly,welcoming,and really make you feel like a part of a family.I had one incident in which I did not get my pet his heart worm prevention for a couple months and they would not provide me any more.They thoroughly explained the dangers involved in giving heartworm prevention if my pet were to have heart worms and the importance of having an annual heart worm test and monthly heart worm prevention.It really shows in their work how much they genuinely care about each one of there clients I will be using them for all my pets future needs!

I take my old 13 year old Pom here almost every day. The staff is AMAZING, super friendly, careful, and caring! The doctors are intelligent and kind, knowledgeable in all types of veterinary medicine. I would strongly recommend this facility to anyone with a pet who needs a vet, boarding facility, daycare, or groom!

Boarded the dog for a week, and saw the vet for shots. People who work there are helpful and friendly. The dog seemed to do well there. A bit pricey, but most veterinary clinics are.

Pet Coral was my first doggy day care experience with my beloved, 120 lbs American Bulldog, and it just rose the standard for the other day cares. Julie loved it and she was such a happy dog when I picked her up after seven days that I couldnt believe it because she is very attached to me. They gave her all the shots she needed and if it wasnt for the fact that I live in North Carolina, I would definitely take her there every time Im away.

Horrible experience at PetCoral Resort and Veterinary. My dog was there for Labor Day and got a huge rash under his neck with raw skin and soaked like he had dipped his head in a pool. And extremely painful. He was crying from the moment I picked him up. The worker who was tending to him stated he was wet from playing in his water bowl. 1st lie. I asked another worker if he had been playing with other dogs, and that worker stated that he played well with the other dogs. I then told him he was specifically instructed to not be around other dogs for the duration of his stay. Lie number 2. I called and spoke to the manager later and she wanted me to bring him in to their vet. We obviously said no since we were already suspect of their bad practices. So I stated I would take him to our own vet. She was apologetic for the lies from her workers and agreed to pay for the vet bill - they were to just fax/email it over.They did email it over that night. Our vet had a hard time diagnosing the rash because our dog was in extreme pain. Although he also diagnosed two hotspots on his paws. Thats how bad it was. It was completely ignored by their staff.I waited several weeks to contact Pet Coral, until this week. Conveniently the manager forgot our conversation in September and refused to pay for our vet bill. She stated that anything self inflicted (hotspot) was not their responsibility. When I asked about their negligence and lying, she stated she would take it up with her staff. She denied ever talking to me in September. They are extremely unprofessional and irresponsible with the dogs health and safety; as evident in their bad reviews. She hung up on me a few times. I even found a review of an eerily similar situation that happened to someone elses dog several years ago. Please do not leave you pet here. I have already contacted my lawyer and a friend from a TV station. BTW, its the same place where a dog drowned a few years back.

I took my scruffy terrier to the vet and was extremely pleased with how nice the experience was. I normally dont write reviews, but I was very happy with my overall experience from start to finish. I was greeted with smiles from the front desk that were very detailed in asking the appointment information at the time of checkin. My dog is extremely nervous, but the techs were nice to try to calm him as much as they could. He didnt like having his temperature taken, but he did like the treat he got afterwards. The doctor was great! My dog had been itching his ears and the treatment plan that the doctor prescribed worked really well. You can tell that she genuinely cares about the pets she sees. This was the first time my dog was seen by her and she was very attentive and showed plenty of care throughout the appointment. I was very pleased with everything and will be utilizing PetCoral as my primary vet and other services as needed.

I just wanted to thank you for such a great service that you have provided to me and my puppy Lulu. I purchased her at a pet store and of course she was full of health issues but little by little with your help she has become such a healthy, happy dog. She loves going there to play with the other dogs and also to get her beauty up at the groomer. I will recommend this place to everybody that needs a secure, save and happy place for their four legged family member. Thank you again.

This place is the BEST. I had an incident with my 9 year old poodle. I took her first to another vet and all I got was the option to put her to sleep. (after spending a lot of money of course and without performing surgery)... I took her to Pet Coral and they did a surgery on my dog for hundreds of dollars less and saved her!!! They will not let you down. They are Ethical, Friendly, Clean Facility, and the Prices are the best.

Well I guess this place doesnt want any business since they cant get back to anybody about daycare. Good thing theres the Barker lounge who was more than happy to schedule my meet and greet the same day. Everytime I had a question the young blonde girl at the desk didnt seem sure about her awnsers. At least I found a place that actually wants my dog there.

Left our dog for the weekend just to pick him up on Monday covered in feces, with knots all over his body and barking hoarsely. Dog was neglected and we wonder what else he was subjected to. Very disappointing and unexpected, because the two previous times the dog stayed there, we had no complaints but praise for the place. Needles to say, we would not be bringing our dog there anymore.

I have boarded my pup here at least 6 times. The staff is absolutely wonderful, the facility is top notch, and I completly trust them with my pup. Where they stmt wrong for me is there requirements to board. Every time I called to schedule boarding they needed another shot or test done. They push the border of over vaccinating/medicating and rewrite a heat worm test, even if your pup id on meds. I understand they are trying to make the facility safe but they require far more than any other boarding place, and it would habe been nice to maybe gotten a requirement list when we first started boardong there. That would have been helpful.

I feel pet coral is a poor place to have your dog groomed and would never recommend them to anyone. We took our shih-tzu and they claimed she bites. Its funny that she never bite the other groomer we took her to. They never even attempted to bath her.They are not very patient with animals.

I wrote a negative review about PetCoral in June of 2016 because of an incident that occurred with my dog Buster. The incident that occurred basically involved a company that was going through growing pains and Buster and me getting caught in the middle of some chaos that turned into the perfect storm (anyone who has ever owned a business knows that these kinds of occasions are just par for the course and are part of a growing and thriving business). I was assured by management at that time that changes and new hires were on the horizon in order for them to accommodate their customers and the wonderful pets that come through their door on a daily basis. I have elected to edit my review of PetCoral in order to change it into a positive assessment. The assurances that management made to me last June were NOT just broken promises told to an irate customer to get them to calm down. I feel that PetCoral has really worked hard to perform the necessary actions to not only make it through their “growing pains” but to better themselves in the process. I recently gave PetCoral a second chance and was very happy with the veterinarian, Dr. Herrera. She is a very happy, outgoing individual who truly cares about her patients and their owners. After Buster’s trip to the vet I was so comfortable with the facility that I chose to let Buster stay in their care for a couple of nights while I had to go out of town. They took great care of my crazy fur baby (Buster is a Boxer and can be quite the handful). If you are reading this review here is the important information that you need to take away from this assessment: 1. PetCoral is a clean facility that strives to exceed expectations. 2. It is a place that is full of staff members that adore and love animals. 3. They are equipped with a wonderful vet who is very knowledgeable and who is ready to assist any animal in need. 4. They are a very trustworthy group of people. 5. They have a management team that do not mind talking to you and that want to make sure that you and your pet are happy with their facility. If you have never been to PetCoral and you are reading this review to see if this is a place you should bring your pet I ask that you do one simple thing, go into PetCoral and just watch. From the staff members outside monitoring dogs in doggy day care to the office staff busy at work behind the counter you will see a group of individuals who take their jobs seriously but also love what they do. It’s almost impossible to go inside this place without seeing smiling faces on the staff and lots of interaction with the animals that are there; a picture truly can be worth a thousand words. I highly recommend PetCoral and all of their services.

The vet services here are over priced compared to other vets in town. They misfiled a rabies certificate for my dog in June of 2017-- which caused the county to serve me a written first offense notice in September 2017 that took over a week for me to resolve. To which they offered me a $5 credit towards a future service for the inconvenience, that was a slap in the face after spending over $400 there on vaccinations a few months prior. In addition, they wanted to charge me close to another$100 to retest my dogs for a heartworm test they had just got done, with negative results mind you, and they did not take me on my word that both dogs had been continuously protected since the last test. They wouldnt sell me the heartworm prevention unless I paid more money to have them retested for heartworm bc it had been over 30 days since the last negative test result. They insulted me as a customer, and Melanie the manager told me--in front of my 3 year old daughter-- that my dogs would DIE if I gave them the heartworm prevention without bringing them back in for another costly and unnecessary test. That was an interesting ride home... So disappointed by the way that I was treated here after being a customer for many years. They also informed me that I was not the only customer whose rabies certificate was misfiled with the county which seems like a larger problem with quality control and employee oversight.

Awful awful experience! If I could Id give them no stars! I had my Chinese Crested Powerpuff groomed the day before his stay at Pet Coral. When I arrived to pick him up they promptly asked me to pay the balance. The long and short of it was that they neglected to take my dog out and care for him. I picked him up after his 5 day stay. He had feces on his muzzle and urine stains on his legs! I was speechless! He had stress related diarrhea from his neglect and had to take him to my vet for meds etc. He had lost so much weight for a small dog. The tech asked me what was wrong as I was besides myself. She told me she could help if my dog wet himself!!!! What???? He has always been a clean dog. They took him in back and bathed him and brought me out my poor little guy soaking wet, shivering and shaking along with a trash bag with his soiled belongings! After I went home with my lathargic pet I called the owner. She looked into the matter and apologized but refused to refund my payment! I felt she did not give my pet the quality of care that was stated when I filled out numerous pages of instructions for his care! I contact the bbb. Pet Coral is also are not affiliated with them but I was told they would contact them for some resolve. The owner of Pet Coral ignored their request and did not respond. My advise to you so you do not have to experience this heartbreak would be to have your pet taken care of elsewhere. They are not to be trusted!!!

It has taken a very long time to finally find a veterinarian that I trust with the health and well being of my dog. I was worried about the quality of life my older fur baby, Yodi. I recently lost 2 dogs to old age and I am over sensitive with Yodi. Not only do I believe Yodis quality of life has improved dramatically, but, Yodi believes it too! When Yodi sees Dr. Herrera I know he is taken care of as if he was her only patient! Yodi was referred to the dental hygienist, Julian. He has done wonders in improving Yodis dental health. Instead of sedation and extractions he believes in keeping your pets teeth healthy. The new treatments and products he uses are amazing. And I must say very inexpensive. THANKYOU Pet Coral and the wonderful staff!

Ive been taking my dog, Petey to Pet Coral for grooming for several years and have never had a bad experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I brought my 13 year old dog in for boarding and administration of medications. They failed to administer his seizure meds per the dosage requirements. If I miss a pill the dog seizes so I find it hard to believe he didnt seize while he was there. They did apologize but will not refund my fees and will only provide credit for use at their facility.

I went in with a friend who took her puppy there for her first grooming. If youre apprehensive about leaving your dog, theres a bench you can sit and wait. You can also see the groomers work on your dog through the glass. Very clean place too despite the paws and feet traffic. Friendly staff too.
