Short but picturesque boardwalk trail that leads to the Glover Bight which is a body of water. Unique opportunity to see a mangrove forest (for lack of a better description) with little effort. Theres a 3 story observation tower midway on the trail leading to a small pier with seating. Sufficient parking for a trail of this size.

Loved seeing spiders squealing while walking around. It was crowded with people taking photos of the spider. It was a nice seeing place, Also had a tower which I forgot the name. Ive also seen a faceless man with a business suit. I took photos of it before I blacked out. BTW, It was corrupted. Oh and theres that time when I was in the Trail. I saw some guy that was starving and running from something. I didnt mind about that, Also That one time I was looking at the moon. It was great when looking at the tower. The moon was an eye. Ive been seeing eyes everywhere! Thats all the stuff that I had in my fresh memory.

Nice stroll through Florida mangroves with a view of the Glover Bight Canal at the end of the trail. We saw a lot of Ibis and other birds as well as small crabs with there claws peeking out. There is a bench by the tower and at the canal in case you need to rest. With walking up the tower the total walk is .7 miles.

Beautiful trail. I loved seeing all of the wildlife, if you go you should look for all of the crabs walking on the trees by the river. Also, make sure you check out the look out spot before you leave... You can see above the trees out to the water.

Kind of found this boardwalk by accident this afternoon. I never knew it was there, but was very pleasantly surprised. It was a fairly good distance, to get some brief walking/exercise in, plus theres an observation tower and then it dead ends into a little back-bay mangrove area where fish are jumping and plenty of birds to watch.Very cool little spot to check out when youre in SW Cape!

Last time we were in cape Coral we rode bikes down the mangrove trail. This year we walked the mangroves and fished the end near a little pier. One of the guys I was with caught a big snook. This is definitely a cool walk or hike ride and a good way to spend a few hours

Great place for a short boardwalk hike through the mangroves. Theres also a tower here thats a few stories high, and gives you a great birds eye view of the the mangrove treetops below. The trail ends at a quiet, peaceful waterway off of the Caloosahatchee River.

Excellent slightly elevated boardwalk path takes you through a mangrove swamp and salt marsh without getting muddy. Slow down and look carefully and you will see magnificent specimens of Golden Orb Weavers (large, colorful spiders) on their impressive webs. The very end of the boardwalk ends at a view of Glover Bight- a stretch of water and greenery and oyster shoals. It is hard to believe that civilization is just around the corner as it feels like a first hand look and walk back to what Florida looked like before condos and snowbirds and industry took hold. This boardwalk is wheelchair accessible/friendly from parking lot to viewing area at the very end. The viewing tower is not wheelchair accessible. The walk is just long enough for tourists and quick doses of nature, but may be too short for the serious hikers who are more interested in distance traveled and fitness than stopping to quietly observe the flora and fauna of this Cape Coral gem.
