Well maintained Golf Course in Cape Coral, FL. The Greens are very fast and tricky!

This place has no respect for new golfers. Employee here told me this “is this your first time golfing? Well it will be your last.” Appreciate the encouragement and support to motivate people to keep trying something new. I know for sure I’ll never be back.

Course is not good. Save your money and go to Palmetto Pines or Eastwood in Ft Myers. Fairways are decent at best, tee boxes are horrible, greens are ok. I like the layout but the overall quality of the course is bogey or worse.

Nice traditional Florida course with majestic trees and generous fairways. Greens in good condition but some fairways and tees patchy in spots. Doesnt ruin the experience, though, with a challenging range of hole layouts and water in the right places without being overdone. Very friendly and engaging staff and overall a pleasant experience. Would definitely play again but price is at the top end of what you would expect to pay.

Decided to check this place out while visiting Florida for the weekend. I only picked it because of a winter special they had going on and I was just trying to find the best deal for a round of golf. I wasnt expecting much but this place will be my new course whenever Im in Cape Coral! Course was challenging but forgiving and it seemed like there was water on every hole. Carts have great GPSs that double as a Cady. I got a sandwich from the Bev cart expecting it to be small or below average but I didnt care because I needed a mid round pick me up. The sandwich was huge and very tasty, I ended up sharing it with the people golfing with me. They also do a great job keeping the pace of play going by not over booking tee times. I golfed on a Saturday afternoon and it never log jammed. Maybe cought up to some people on a few holes but that happens.

They staff here are very welcoming, their youth program is awesome!

For the money it cant be beat. Some of the greens were blighted this time and rough from the aerator. Queen course was in better shape than other two.

Nice driving range. I didnt play the course today, just hit a bucket. Everything was in place and there was room to hit my driver.

Coral Oaks is no cow pasture, it is professionally designed, constructed, and maintained like the best private courses in SWFL. It is a FUN course to play, but requires patience because of its low competitive seasonal public course greens fees which draws large crowds. They allow all ages and skill levels with few restrictions for the number of strokes per fairway or greens per player.Sometimes I get extremely frustrated with the massive wall of SLOW play in the afternoons during peak season, but I know it can be avoided with planning and timing. I am an annual resident pass holder who prefers walking 9 holes in the morning before 8am to avoid this sort of thing.

Nice course it was recommended by a friend. The layout suited my game. I would definitely play it again.

Great course to play in Cape Coral Florida. Public course which is reasonably priced. Ladies night is always fun. Pro shop has what ever you may need. Knickers Pub has good food. Plus, great and friendly service.

Clean course, played the same ball the whole time, nice technology Incorporated in the carts for ease of game play and food

I dont golf so I cant give a rating on this course. I do sign up my kid for the summer camp that meets once a week.The camp is well organized, staff is friendly and my kid really enjoys it.

Nice course,can be challenging if your NOT in the fairway,like most courses though.friendly staff,and the 2 gators at the pond between the 15th and 16th fairways was a bonus!!! I know that the area has had drought conditions the last 2yrs but the greens were a tad on the firm side, and fairways could have used some water also.but dont get me wrong,it is very playable and enjoyable course.my biggest complaint ,along with most of what we do here in S. Fla is the fee...too high for a course of this quality.YEP, Im a snowbird,but cmon,over $75 for a round ...thats why only 3 star rating,3.5 if I could do it.

Perfectly adequate municipal golf course. Very good design. You wont lose a ton of balls as water doesnt come into play too much. Greens adequate.

Excellent day with a member while down for his 50 wedding anniversary.Course and staff were great people and the use of the clubhouse for the dinner that night was perfect!This course is an A+ on care and maintenance. Highly recommend for visitors near Fort Myers and Cape Coral

Loved that the carts include GPS and are not gas so they are not loud and annoying. Very easy course to manage your playing. Water comes into play very little and as a beginner you will not lose a large amount of balls. Greens were not the best but then again it is summer in Florida, even with the best maintenance it is hard to keep up with our weather. The lady who helped me check in was very nice. I will continue coming back and playing only this course as it was a very pleasant experience.

Awesome golf course and pro shop with great food in the restaurant, beautiful old fashion Florida style building, very natural and tons of trees around driving range. Felt like I was up north in a beautiful setting.The best part of the whole place is the golf pro Alan Magnuson. He is truly incredible and has been giving my youngest son golf lessons for a while now and he could not be better. He had taught him so much in a short time, Im just thrilled that we found him.He is so knowledgeable in his instruction, its incredible to watch every time!! We just love Alan!!! He is great and I am so grateful for him!!! Keep him at Coral Oaks!! Beautiful course too!!!

Course plays well for all handicappers. Course layout is friendly and straight up. Staff friendly, Golf carts have GPS ( system being fixed). Dont carry Callaway golf balls. Golf ball selection is very limited. Course of play is good. Have a great time

On our way to cape Coral for Christmas. I own my own small business. My review is about the reviews. Looking to play golf near the house we rented. I just want to comment on the fact that every bad review about this place is about the staff. Every response seems caned. We will not be golfing here for only that reason. Shouldnt you guys be working on this?

Didnt play yet just stopped by for a look. Looks like its in great shape. Gonna play there soon. Waze took me to a dead end street could see the clubhouse but couldnt get there from their directions. Played in the Junior Golf tournament fund raiser Saturday, it was a well run tournament great weather Great course conditions, will be playing there more frequently. Course is in good condition and greens rolled nice, albeit slightly slower than I prefer but i managed a few birdies thru 27 holes.

Staff were very friendly. Course is a good challenge from which ever tee box you play from. The course could use some water, especially the tee boxes, but in fairness, it has been hot and dry of late. Greens were in great shape. Large greens that have a lot of subtle contours.Overall, a tough but fair challenge.

What happened? Played here on April 4th, while the course is in good condition the greens are not. The greens were all redone three years ago, they were perfect now they look like they are dying or infected. Hopefully they can be returned to the great condition they were in a short time ago. Friendly staff. The driving range and chipping and putting greens are very well kept.A great place to hone your skills.

Nice and friendly place to play golf

Nice staff and great snacks and food service, always spotless restrooms. We eat here when we are biking and we saw a Pileated Woodpecker from the clubhouse.

It was great there was beautiful lakes. There were also many awesome plants. Great food.

The green renovation is underway but the grounds crews have done a great job making and maintaining temporary greens just short of the new ones under construction. Prices are great and no crowds. Play at a fast pace with no wait. Great job Coral Oaks personal!

Friendly staff, tee times were right on. Lots of interesting holes, nice greens and plenty of sand. Nice track!

Coral Oaks is a great public course, with and ample variety of well-placed hazards to make 9 or 18 holes as challenging as you want it to be. Its a well shaded course, allowing you to have ample breaks from the sun while still enjoying a nice breeze when it decides to blow through. This course is definitely a highlight for the price, and not having to know someone in a club to get in makes it wonderfully accessible. Great value and great golf.

My partner and I we always walk on play 18 holes they dont even know where coming on a Tuesday but they always find a way to get us out not to mention how much better the golf course is now loving the greens and the idea of having GPS in the golf carts shout out to the crew thank you so much for always accommodating Jeff and Joe Tuesday Mornings

Fun course...great staff! You can tell it’s been dry for the fairways...greens in pretty good condition and fast! Pace of play is pretty good in the afternoon.

Course is decent. Staff make it tough to enjoy. From the front office to the cart guys, nobody is friendly. Course GM Allen had to be the worst. Self centered, no concern for customers. I’ll choose another course moving forward

Round started great and then the 18th stopped all of that. We were 8 min ahead of pace play according to our cart GPS. We teed off at 18 hit in shots and we’re in our carts and right as we were leaving the head golf pro Allan Manguson told us to stop and let him and his 3 some group tee off. We said we already teed off and he said “I don’t care we’ll be quick” and hit his ball. Total disrespect and etiquette that a golf pro should have a representative of not only the golf course but the city of Cape Coral. Ruined our experience, will never play there again.

This course has that old Florida feeling on some of the holes . One of the first courses I played when I moved here over twenty years ago and I am always glad when someone wants to play there.

Very good ezperience. Its a bit of gem in this area. Loved how the course flowed from start to finish. Greens were in fantastic shape. Will be back.

The course was in Fair shape on their behalf they had temporary greens. We understand that, however the staff was incredible ! Theyre very friendly helpful and it is in or neighborhood. Therfore, it is just a great place to go for a quick round.

Lived alongside this course and was a member. Its a good layout kept in top shape under heavy play in season (winter).

5 stars for friendly staff, beautiful fairways, and price. Carts have GPS and are clean. As most public couses, this one is not free of issues... the sandtraps need work (some hard as rocks). Also the greens were full of sand, but they are getting ready for season, so I will see if those improve over the next few weeks of play. There were also a handful of soggy spots that were unplayable, but we are in rainy season, and its been very wet. (Looks like they are aware and marked them off)If the traps get work and greens improve this will be on of the best public courses in Florida. Ignore negative comments about the staff. (No complaints about anyone from the lady in the proshop, the starter, the ranger, the guy at cart drop off, and the lady in the clubhouse)

Horrible greens, highway robbery to charge $70 to play a course in this type of condition, and forget about playing the twilight hours for a cheaper rate because they let walkers on the course after 2pm, therefore it takes an hour to play one hole. I truly wish they had cheaper rates to play as I live fairly close, but I will never play here again based on my last experience. Three hours for 4 holes! Pace of play was excruciatingly slow. Called the clubhouse and asked for a rain check to play on a different day, they flat out said no. So I left and dont plan on ever returning, folks there are plenty of other better quality courses in the area for equal or less money to play.

I played coral oaks today and the course was gorgeous. And most of the staff was great... Unfortunately, when we we got to the 18th tee, we were bullied by the pro. We hit our tee shots and as we got back to cart, he zipped in front of us and immediately hit his tee shot trying to make us (paying customers on a company outing) wait for him and his friends. He was happy to tell us who he was (Allen Manguson/GM), and he ruined a GREAT DAY for 2 groups. Sad that a GM/ Course manager would not only allow that but encourage that on his course. RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, AND HORRIBLE GOLF ETIQUETTE.

Greens are being repaired so the greens are quite slow but a nice course i play here at least once a week

I have played at Coral Oaks for the last few years and it is a very nice course and I recommend it to anyone who hasnt played there yet.

Nice course, but I feel it is over priced for what you get, we played a lot of courses in the area and they are over priced!

Had very good time. Coarse in good condition. But toooo damn hot lol
