Love this place! Matt always makes you feel welcome, whether you are a patron, or a band member! All the greatest bands in our area play here! Even Soulicide drives from Florida east coast to play here! I also love playing here, the people are great!

My husband and I came here to stay for our ten day vacation on a recommendation from a friend and we were NOT disappointed. Donna is an absolute doll as well as the rest of the staff right down to the staff at the tiki bar. Although this resort was built in the 1960’s it sure does not look that way. The rooms, bar, pool area are completely modern, clean, and absolutely beautiful. We had fresh towels, sheets, and a clean room every day. They all make you feel welcome, the food is to die for, and the atmosphere is so relaxing yet fun. I would recommend this resort to ANYONE! Booked this hotel for 2 days online so I wasnt sure what to expect. Boy was I surprised. Rooms were clean and big, area was tropical and the tiki bar was great. Staff was fantastic and especially nicole who was cheerful. Will be back again soon.

Kitschy, retro, vintage Florida vibe, super laid back, great place to stay. Everyone is so polite, friendly, & helpful, rooms are big & clean, the Tiki Hut is awesome, just a fun place to stay overall.

Definitely upgraded it. When it was del Prado innIt was not a place you wanted to stay. But now it is alot nicer.

This place was great! The room at first looks stark but really it’s large and streamlined. Comfortable beds and linens, ample counter space and a very nice rain shower head. I loved the Tiki bar/restaurant adjacent. It made getting reasonably priced food and drink easily accessible. Everyone from front desk to people who cleaned were so nice and friendly. Exceptionally helpful staff even when they were busy. Loved the bike rental on site. I will go back again.

Love the area, the tiki hut but a few things disappointed me this stay. The wait staff were lacking and the lobby was closed the whole time. I couldn’t ask for extra towels, pool towels nor could I purchase a t-shirt which I really wanted. Room was clean but had a bit of a musty smell.

I liked the layout of the property and the staff was very friendly. But, unfortunately as a smoker, the rules of the resort prohibited any smoking on the property except in the Tiki Hut Bar. I understand this policy in the rooms but not outside your room. This is Florida where smoking is pretty much acceptable anywhere including most bars and even some restaurants.

I stay they often and have always had good experience, they no longer clean the rooms and bring clean towels but thats due to the pandemic.

I cant say enough about this place. Everything about my trip was better than I expected. Donna at check in took care of a little problem within minutes. Jessie,Sara. Tina and Ashley , thank you. The food and bar service was excellant. Will be staying here on all my visits to see family and friends.

Ive Been going there for a couple of years from the East Coast of Florida. Its a nice little drive and the property compound, the amenities and staff are great for a small Resort.

Cold beers under 2 bucks great sandwiches and love the fish and chips

Nice place. Been staying here for Christmas the last few years. Well managed and good location. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Tiki bar can get kinda loud, stay on street side if you want less noise. Shower in 132 needs some attention.

My Mama usually rents herself and my family a room either here or at the waterfront hotel in Punta Gorda multiple times per year; this is on occasions such as the 4th of July, mothers day, and this last time, when this pics were taken at the dolphin Key Resort, was on new years Eve 2020.We very much prefer Punta Gordas PG Waterfront; its much better, yet though subpar, dolphin Key is much more expensive.My room smelt like mold, the supposedly clean room had sand on the bedspread the moment I sat on it which is insane because its not even near a beach!Its not the worst place you can stay in Lee County, but its definitely not the best for the price. Go to PG Waterfront instead; I promise you room not be disappointed!

Neat, affordable hotel. Restaurant and bar are great! Live entertainment and a great atmosphere. Ive stayed here a couple of times, the room is always clean.

Friendly staff. This motel has a pool and a tiki bar and grill. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. If you get a room on the pool side keep in mind that if they have a live band the music plays until 9pm at least. The roadside rooms have very bright lights outside, which keeps the room lit up at night. The drapes dont go low enough to keep the light out. The bed was not too comfortable either.

First time staying with dolphin key resort, would definitely return. Very clean, our daughter loves the pool. He great tiki bar and dining area. Everyone was pleasant and happy to be around.

Fun place to get away with good live entertainment

I liked the resort everything under one roof and the pool was warm i enjoyed the live music too but the cleaners where not clean and did terrible houskeeping job

My wife and i sat at a table for over an hour and was ignored by every server in the place so we left. Wont be going there for a while.

The only problem is the pool is too hot!

Best mini vacation Ive had in a while. People there are super awesome. I booked a room expecting to spend the day in the pool with some drinks.... Ended up staying 3 nights cause it was so great. Hospitality is awesome, live music is great, clean and fun little place. I will be back.

Hmmm, where to start... well this place is awesome! all staff we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful, extra kudos go to donna, she couldnt have been kinder. rooms were nice and clean. loved the tiki bar, entertainment during our stay was excellent. pool area was very nice. the breakfast was good and just enough to get your day started. location was a plus for exploring the area in a different direction each day. we will return.

Our bedding was dirty!!! We called desk. No house cleaners after 4pm. Desk clerk got us clean bottom sheet. Full size dubaee coverFor king size bed. We remade bed. I covered up with beach towel. No top sheet. Ughh. Pool was nice. House cleaner was nice next day. We took dirty cover and sheet to show clerk. Should of comped room for 1 of 2 night stay. Desk clerk said we never comp room. Also same night another quest had same problem. This was Weds 4th of March.

Awesome place. I had friends in from out of town that stayed there. They all loved it.

Property was nice, and people were awesome. Could have a microwave and colder refrigerator.

Thought the outside looked rough, but the wonderful staff and the inside changed my mind quickly

Earlier I called to cancel my reservation because I had a family emergency and I couldn’t make it.. the lady who answered the phone gave a complete attitude because I wanted to cancel. Instead of canceling the reservation she was too lazy to do it she told me to call the third party because she couldn’t do it which I know is a complete lie.. never again will I consider going there Again, poor customer service. Whether someone is staying or canceling their reservation a attitude shouldn’t be included.

Had an amazing time poolside!!! Our server Courtney was spot on and made our visit perfect. This will be are new weekly hangout to relax in a getaway right here in the cape close to home!

Noisy! bar and after hours partying, revving traffic starting at 6am. Greasy food. No pets allowed, except the owners dog getting major rubs by your food server. Washroom about 4X6. Overpriced. Find another place for your vacation.

Expensive room given the overall property. However clean. The claim of the Largest Tiki bar in the world is false. To say the service in the bar and the food served was underwhelming wood be overstated. The band however was excellent.

EMPLOYEE BEWARE!This place takes 5% of the servers gross sales and gives them to the bartenders from the servers tips.They dont make an tip adjustment for the servers either! So basically they are taking income earned that the servers pays federal income taxes on and give it to another employee. Keep in mind they make no tip adjustment what so ever. Ill never spend one penny there! All servers there should get together and start a class action lawsuit.

There was no notice in the hotel booking stating that blaring music to keep the whole family up until 11pm would occur due to tiki bar. And they put our family of 4 on the loudest side. I would give this place a -5 if possible.

Pulled up, and immediately regretted decision. Photos of establishment online DO NOT accurately represent its actual condition. Checked in to (2) rooms. IMMEDIATELY found various bugs (including a bed bug), bodily fluid stains, random hairs and overall deplorable conditions.Went to front desk and they could not provide refund, as we purchased through Orbitz. They offered another room (seriously?), and we just left and went to the Omni.I am in the middle of a dispute with Orbitz, as this motel lied to Orbitz, saying they dont have bugs and offered us another room, but we refused. Look at the attached pictures and think to yourself if you would have just stayed at another room in this place.PS: I also have a video I shot of a bug feverishly crawling around the wall as soon as I walked in.

Loud noisy dirty overpriced greasy food. Owners dog where food is served, but no pets allowed. Bar noisy and after hours partying and loud traffic before 7am.

Customer service is a lost art, but not at Dolphin Key Resort! If I could give 15 stars for customer service here, I would. Especially Donna at the front desk. Donna went above and beyond to ensure my friends and I had a superior experience and that we were taken care of. The rooms were clean and a great value. The Tiki bar was super fun and reasonably priced. Everything you would need for a fantastic girls trip or any trip.

Ive stayed here twice so far and its been pleasant. The rooms are clean. Bathroom is on the small side and their hours of operation werent very convenient for us when we had a flight to catch. We had to leave the key in the room and then call when they opened to check out. Otherwise, our stay was nice and I would stay here again.

Very nice, large room. Cleanest motel I have stayed in recently. Rain shower shows the motel has been recently renovated. Food at the Time Bar is outstanding.

Clean rooms and decent place to stay. Lights are super bright outside of rooms making it difficult to sleep if you need darkness.

Rooms are nice, but dated. Very limited power outlets. Wifi unreliable, and only a few channels on the TV. Went to the pool and ordered a beer from the pool bar and they have no way to charge to your room. The tiki bar was nice and the staff were very friendly.

This little place was perfect for us. We wanted a clean easy place to get in and out of that was cheap enough, but not too cheap (if you know what I mean) great value, great location. A lot of places to eat in the area. Close to the beaches And only 20 min from Ft. Myers. This hotel has a very clean pool, and a tiki bar. We really enjoyed our stay here. And would come back.

We stayed for two nights. The tiki hut advertises drink specials on their walls and dont honor them. Had about 8 or 10 land sharks supposed to be at half price 2.50. Was charged 5 each. Asked bartender about it said no they arent on specia . I said maybe signs should be taken down then. He said maybe. But didnt. And didnt honor the price. Thats not right. Then you also cant bring your own drinks in pool area even when you are a guest. You have to purchase from the over priced tiki hut. Then we go to be and music in tiki hut is so loud you dont get sleep. Then we try to watch the smart tv and nothing worked and they couldnt fix it. Then. The curtain didnt close all the way and the light was blasting us in the face. Felt like it all the lights in the room were on. The stay wasnt worth the price thats for sure. We will stay elsewhere next time

If you are looking for a 60s/70s vibe this is your place. The food was pretty good and the band was awesome. I am pretty young but I really enjoyed the environment. The place is pretty loud so bring on the kids. There are a lot of sitting space on the floor and the bar also has an extensive sitting area.

My family and I visited Cape Coral this weekend a stayed at this hotel. Rooms and pool are clean, the hotel is upkept in good maintenance conditions and the staff are courteous. Breakfast included coffee, orange juice, eggs, has brown and sausage.

Great rates especially out of season... Great bands, friendly staff, and great location that is close to the downtown cape area... Recommended to all ages, locals and tourists alike

It was a basic room. They offer free continental breakfast. staff was nice.The tiki bar by the pool is where all the action is. Food was good. The town is closed by 10 o’clock. even on a weekend. If your a senior citizen, or you just like the lay back vibe. then yeah, this would be your kinda place.

I rented this room for a work colleague who is here for a one-week training. I was pleased to find that the rooms are in good condition, amenities, and clean. Hotel is definitely older, but it is well maintained, and well kept. The complimentary breakfast vouchers were a nice touch for someone whos visiting from out of town. The location is convenient to all downtown venues, and is right at the end of Del Prado Parkway which makes an easy exit to Fort Myers. I was not a guest here, but can say from inspection that the pool and Tiki Bar area looked lively.

It is a nice and clean motel. They have a cute tiki hut with live band too. Loved it.

It had night life but if you wanted quit it was great night sleep and great night out

The pool and tiki bar were wonderful but the rooms and landscape are horrible. there are no security chains on the doors in the rooms we had to put chairs behind the doors to feel safe. On our last night people were knocking on our door at midnight then our window. very scary did not feel safe there

The pool area was wonderful. The double sink and mirrors were amazing. The beds couldve been more comfortable.

They need new beds and pillows. It took 3 days before the room was swept and mopped. I did talk to the person in charge of cleaning staff and she did take care of it that day. Also I had to clean my own air vents ( in the air conditioner )in my room they look like they had not been cleaned in a while.

My wife and i had a great stay, June 4 to 11, Room 104, Very clean, pool area and grounds well maintained, Donna who booked are room was the best, very helpful in all information , she went out of her way. ernie, mike at tiki hut also very helpful. Will go back again.Dolphin Key Resort is a must stay when you in the area.
