We just celebrated our one year anniversary with Destination Boat Club, and loving it!Thanks for providing great communication, a great club, a great location, great prices, great boats, great staff, and great fun! Great decision, on our part, to join. Affordable access to late model, meticulously maintained boats is the icing on the cake of our piece of paradise.Mark & Sue Wonus

I love it! The boats are clean and well taken care of, the staff is so friendly they are like family. You cant beat the price, much better than owning a boat, no hassle with maintenance , cleaning, or storage. We love taking the pontoon boat out when the kids come to visit, and the fishing boats are fantastic!

We are now in our fifth year with Destination. We chose a lifetime membership as our best option. Boats are in top condition. Customer service is exceptional. On line reservation system is quick and easy. They never compromise safety, which is good because I dont either. If weve had an issue, it has been small and quickly resolved. Join with confidence.

I have been a member of the boat club for a year now and I am very satisfied with the service. They have an amazing selection of boats and have been upgrading to even newer and nicer boats throughout the year. I havent had any trouble finding an available boat and I do most of my boating on the weekends. The staff at the locations are always courteous to my guests and I. They always offer a hand in carrying any equipment and coolers to the boat. To have the ability to enjoy walk-on/walk-off boating without the hassles and expenses of storing, maintaining, and repairing anything is well worth the investment.

I have been a member for over 4 years and I absolutely love it. The ability and freedom to go boating without the hassle of hauling and maintaining your own boat. I work with boats in my profession and they require constant care, upkeep, and work. With destination, all you get is the enjoyment of boating, none of the hassle. I thought about buying a boat, but when I ran the numbers, Destination boat club made more sense. I am always able to reserve a boat and they are flexible when it comes to my return and departure times. If you want to enjoy boating in SW Florida- this is definitely the way to go.

We were hesitant to sign a contract after having our own boats for many years. However, we dont know the waters in South West Florida and what type of boat would work best for us here after moving from Delaware. So after talking with Kim in their office, we signed the contract. Again, we were skeptical of how this would work out. I must say that being used to jumping in our boat whenever at the spur of the moment (during the north east boating season - YUCK!) it took a little bit of time to get used to but it was well worth it. The crew at DBC is courteous, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make your day on the water a success. We have so many memories that we talk about its incredible! I highly recommend this club!

Destination Boat Club: A boat sharing club with $2500 in joining fees for a lifetime membership plus $279 month in dues plus gas. Here is what we were promised prior to joining.-Once reserved ahead, boats will be awaiting the member at marina for departure at the reserved time.-Member will get detailed boating education including individual hands on training on each vessel-If a boat breaks down on the water, a replacement will be brought to you and the club employee will wait on sea tow. This is what we actually experienced: We had a membership for 5 months and went boating 4 times. All 4 trips happened in the first couple months. We stopped boating after that.-Individual training consisted of 9 people on each boat, driving for 90 seconds each. No information was given on the different vessels and the employees were completely without knowledge on how to operate them. Prior to departure, a checklist is administered. The employees could never locate half the things on the checklist and certainly could not answer even the simplest questions about the boats.-The boat was ready on only 1 of the 4 trips. On our second trip, we waited 1hr 45min for the vessel to be brought around because they forgot. The other two trips were a delay of approx. 30 min. before the boats arrived-On 2 of the 4 trips, no one was at the marina when we arrived back from boating. (a boating checklist is suppose to be completed on return.) We would just tie the boat off and leave.-Trip 3 suffered an engine failure near North Captiva. We contacted the club via cell phone. Not only did they not bring another boat, but we had a 2 hour wait in the sun for Sea Tow, followed by a 3 hour tow. We had two senior citizens who were ill from the heat by the time we returned and in true form, there were no boat club employees to meet us on arrival. We tied up and left. Later, we received a bill for engine repair due to negligence. We contested the bill, and Dave Sutton, (the owner) promised our money returned. It never was.-Lastly, and just in our opinion, Dave Sutton, the owner, is intolerable. From the moment we met him he was belligerent, arrogant, and dishonest. He is the living embodiment of the worst car salesman stereotypes. I found that I could have no contact with him without severe anger, so I avoided him at every opportunity.-Once I brought this to the clubs attention and requested a refund of initiation fees and cancelation of membership, they responded that I could sell the membership to recover the fees. However, I could not, in good conscience, sell this to another individual knowing what I do. Im no Dave Sutton.
