Absolutely spectacular. Super clean facility. Super friendly staff and lots to do. We will certainly be back. Tomorrow we will hit the trail for some walking. They have little store very quaint. I know if Covid was not a factor that would have lots of activities. Tomorrow night is a band and food truck. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Just stayed there for 2 nights. Had both a good and bad experience while visiting.First the good: love the campgrounds. Everyone staying there was friendly, and lots to do inside the grounds as well as right around it. I like how they make it into a community by having events and hangouts. Our tiny home was a good size and had all the furnishings we needed. Now the bad: The smoke alarm and propane detector malfunctioned. First it was beeping 3x every 1-2 min for about 15 minutes. They came and replaced the batteries. About 1 hour later, it started beeping once every minute. They had to come again and just remove the propane detector. It was annoying because we had a 6 month old trying to nap, but the beeping kept waking him up. A crying, tired baby is NOT a good thing. Also the beds were just ok, not super comfortable but I guess were just glamping. Didnt get much of an apology other than yeah thats the problem with these alarms sometimes.Definitely would recommend spending longer than 2 days like us, but hopefully you wont have things malfunction on you like we did.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the campsite was amazing and serene! We stayed at one of their tiny houses, in July as a family of 6, and had PLENTY of room. Enough activities around the site to keep kids entertained and lots of things to do around the site if you want to explore. Already booked to stay with them again!

I don’t post a lot of reviews, but however this place definitely deserves one. First off the cleanest camp ground I have ever been too, and the staff was great we were tent camping owners and staff would come by just to check on us to see if we needed anything, these two things alone go a long way. The music was great and the restaurants in the area were great too, my girlfriend and I will be back soon!!! Only recommendation is keep up the awesome work at Mystic Quarry!!!!

This was actually my first RV park experience and it was perfect from beginning to end. We arrived a little earlier than check-in time, but no problem. A staff member guides you to your spot. The spot was large, easy to access and had a picnic table, fire pit, and BBQ. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The park is quiet, extremely clean and well-maintained. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Good restaurant too right outside the back gate of the park.

Let me start off by saying that I missed the entrace and by the time I saw it, was to late to stop, luckily I was able to turn around. The check-in was easy and the lady was very friendly and helpful. They escort you to the site and help you with the backing, also the gentleman was very helpful and friendly. I had a little trouble backing the trailer because the way they sites are setup and the truck from the front neighbor was kinda in the way. Once I got in everything was good I had plenty space for both slide outs and I was able to open the awnings without hitting the next door neighbor. Our site had plenty of shade, a picnic table and a fire pit, no BBQ. The bathrooms were very clean (one of the cleanest bathrooms I have seen at an RV park). The swimming pool was nice and refreshing in this Texas heat. They had some areas closed due to the COVID. They have a shuttle that takes you to the river for tubing. We enjoyed the live music. Plenty of restaurants near by. Overall nice place to go, we enjoyed it, and Im pretty sure we will be back.

We just left after a 3 night stay and as we were driving away, our 6 year old son said “I’m don’t want to leave - I’m not done having fun yet!” That’s how you know you’ve hit the parent jackpot! Bocce ball, the nature trail and swimming were among the favorites on the property and so much fun to be had off the property with the lake close by. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and our tiny house was super cute and perfect for the 4 of us! The perfect place to get away and practice social distancing all while having fun. Outstanding place with a great staff. We took a large group (4 families) with more than 20 people. The accommodations were amazing—each family had their own perfect tiny home and some of the teenagers stayed in the adjacent Tipis. It was a phenomenal experience. Tubing on the river was easy and convenient, but we would have been perfectly happy to stay at the campsite and enjoy everything they had to offer! It was one of the best vacation experiences we have had in Texas Hill Country and the whole group is already planning our next trip back!

We visited for the weekend in mid October and it was great 70 ° weather. The check in process on Friday can be a little long because when you pull in there is one way all the way to the office. Id say it took about 20 minutes. The grounds are beautiful, modern, well kept with plenty if trees. We had a prime spot by one of the dog parks in our motor home. We had tons of tree coverage and privacy. The other spots, however, did look a lot smaller and not as much privacy. The locations is very close to the river and Canyon Lake. They have a shuttle but it wasnt running due to covid. The have a nice pool. Its not very big and doesnt have slides. There is a small hiking area, quarry and meditation area, T.P.s, tent area and cute cabins. Sand Volleyball, playground, Bocce ball, horse shoes, and so many more games plus a relaxing hammock area. Very Dog and Kid friendly! Dogs must be on a leash unless in the dog park that is fenced. Kids dont need to be on a leash ;) Overall it was a wonderful experience!!

Wow!! This place is a must. From the above and beyond service, plethora of amenities and prime location, this is a WIN/WIN! My husband and I did a weekend trip down to New Braunfels to float the river, mountain bike Canyon Lake and see a concert at the Whitewater Amphitheater.Mystic Quarry’s location is perfect. You’re minutes from the river, and Shanty Tubes picks you up from Mystic Quarry so you don’t have to worry about driving and parking or standing in line for a tube. AND you get tubes for a discounted price! We signed up to be shuttled to the Whitewater Amphitheater and BOY was that a dream. The Parking for the venue is a nightmare and was backed up for miles. Do yourself a favor- stay at Mystic Quarry and get shuttled. When you’re ready to be picked up (AT ANY TIME), simply send a text and within minutes the shuttle is back for you- or stay until the end! Either way.Let’s talk about the actual resort. The owners struck gold with the idea of offering literally any type of accommodation you could think of. They’ve covered it! Primitive camping for $10 a day to awesome trendy tiny houses, it’s all there. Whatever you choose, all the amenities are included. We got in at 8pm just in time for the live music In the main area. Surrounded by strung up Edison style lights, tiki torches, hammocks, horse shoes and Adirondack chairs to name a few, it was the perfect scene. Colorful Adirondack chairs can also be found on the sky deck for star gazing along with the chairs on every porch. The office area is adorable. They’ve got all sorts of swag for purchase, treats as well as ice for sale, drinks, Knick knacks, etc. There is an awesome little play ground and cute lassos for a couple of wooden cattle Incase you want to brush up on your roping skills. They’ve thought of it all!!When we were waiting for the shuttle to pick us up after the concert, we were standing with the owner (she had a clipboard with all of Mystic Quarry’s concert-goers to make sure everyone got back safe and was accounted for) and she was Sharing with us their upcoming plans to bring an outdoor movie theater/amphitheater area to the Quarry- see pictures of that area attached. We stayed in The Pflugerville cottage and it was perfect. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the blanket was light but Warm, perfect for summer. The room was very clean and fresh, spacious and loved the vintage style sea foam colored fridge. The effort and attention to detail put into renovating this place is apparent and impressive. We also loved the amount of natural light for the room. There were so many windows with quality wooden blinds we didn’t need to turn the lights on except at night. In conclusion, WE WILL BE BACK. Over and over again. Can’t wait to bring our daughter! Thanks Mystic Quarry!!!! Love y’all!

We stayed here back in 2013 when it used to be Riverside Resort. The way the owners have transformed this place is really remarkable. The entire place is immaculately kept, and the tiny homes are perfect if you are looking for a blend of camping and hotel room. If you want to straight up camp you can do that as well. We primarily come down here to hit the shows at whitewater amphitheater, and one of the primary thing that brings us back here is the free shuttle to the venue. It is really nice to be able to relax, grill, and drink some adult beverages and not have to worry about driving to the show and back (especially with the significant police presence on the roads down here). They have bocce ball, horseshoes, a pool, hiking trails, live music, and we hear there may be a micro-brew event in the works in the future as well! The new owners really made the stay here. We called multiple times to make arrangements, and each and every time the staff was kind, accommodating and professional. Check in was smooth and easy. They made us feel right at home and really put a personal touch on the place. I can honestly say the vibe is completely different from our last stay in the best possible way. We will definitely be returning here, great job guys!

All of the staff were super friendly! To entertain yourself, take a dip in the pool anytime day/night, play Bocce Ball, Horseshoes, Tether Ball, giant Connect Four and giant Jenga! Prior to Covid they ran their own shuttle down to Shanty Tubes for a float experience on the upper portion of the Guadalupe River just outside the Canyon Lake community. For now, everyone drives themselves and pays to park in one of the rafting companys parking area. I scheduled a weekend staycation for my husband and myself in one of Mystic Quarrys tiny houses. We had an absolutely awesome weekend! The tiny house was a home away from home, with a full kitchen - refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee-maker, bowls, plates, mugs, etc. You could snuggle on the couch with a warm cup of coffee, while the cieling-high windows fill the room with morning light. The property has a charming, modern, yet rustic vibe, is clean and well-kept. On our first night, we listened to live music while we sat on the sky deck, with a view of the sun setting (photo included). My husband and I made great use of the rec rooms ping pong table, so much fun! We also walked the on-site trail and made some feathery friends (photo included). Very impressed by this park! The grounds are kept clean. Very fun and friendly atmosphere! We attended a concert at Whitewater, only 1 mile down the road. The campground provides a nice shuttle for their campground guests for 10 per person. The shuttle drops you off and picks you up right in front of Whitewater venue. They even provide a shuttle number for you to call if you want to be picked up from the concert at any point. I thought that was very impressive! My husband and I will definitely be returning!!

First impressions of Mystic Quarry is completely awesome! The owners are very friendly and accommodating. If youre looking for a clean, friendly, and all around superb place to vacation you would be hard pressed to find a better place. You do not have to have a RV or camper as they have cabins and even teepees.

Stopped in there today to check them out for a close to home getaway. They look like a wonderful resort. Cute cabins or RV spaces. Lots of outdoor recreation games, pool, hammock and more. A must for us for a staycation.

I loved this place. Clean cold rooms. My kids and I walked the nature trail in the evening and watched the bats come out. There are things to do here like pool and games. I recommend it.
