We love Cranes Mill Marina so much! The entire staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the lake is absolutely beautiful and the location is great - perfect for families camping nearby. Our stay at Canyon Lake isnt complete without a visit to this Marina, we 100% recommend it to anyone wanting to have an amazing time at the lake!

I rented a ski boat about a week ago and could not have been happier. A dock hand at cranes named Taylor made sure to get my boat spotless before I came. They got me everything I could need and gave me helpful advice. The girls in the office Mary and Savanna were able to answer all my questions and made my booking so easy. I would recommend cranes mill to everyone who wants to go out and see beautiful canyon lake.

Rented from Cranes Mill Marina this weekend. This was the 3rd time that we have rented from them and every time it has been a great experience. The boat was clean and fully functional with no complaints. Just a heads up, be careful where you drop your anchor we ended up loosing an anchor because we could not get it loose. The staff were understanding about the issue. Great people to rent from!The kids had a blast, mom and dad enjoyed the trip. What else could you ask for!?!

Mary and Kate were the cashiers that helped me yesterday with my jet ski rental, they were both so kind and made the whole process easy and they let me extend my time out on the water. And the dock hand Cameron was super helpful with cleaning and fueling the jet skis before we left!!!

Nice, clean, newer boats. Water was very nice. Only complaint was that the anchor was too small, couldnt keep the boat still. Still a very good time.

Great boats and docks with superior service by the employees! We have a daughter with special needs and they were extremely helpful and patient attempting to get her on a pontoon. It was a beautiful afternoon on the water! I would definitely highly recommend this marina!!

Excellent service - on a busy holiday weekend - when it shows the most. We were attended to promptly, got on the lake quickly to enjoy the day, and were checked back in smoothly. Weve rented from Cranes Mill Marina several times and always have a great experience.

Couldnt really say how the marina itself is. It seems pretty nice but I paddled in there to get away from all the wake boats and try to do some fishing. I caught a few fishing the boat slips and nobody didnt yelled at me to get out of there so that was nice.

Great experience with online booking of pontoon boat and waverunner. The instructions for operating the boat could have been a bit more thorough, but we had some experience so it wasnt a big deal after all. There was a sudden storm that cut the trip short, but the company was diligent in offering refunds and another day to return and rent! Management and staff very friendly on a very busy weekend.

I Rented A Boat May 21, 2020 and it was an excellent experience. The Marina building is modern, clean and professionally run. The boats are top notch. I dont know anyone in this local business, just a guy from San Antonio out for a fun afternoon with my son, wanting to give credit to someone when they actually run a business well!

My family and I had an absolute blast renting a boat from here. The process was quick, safe (there was a plexiglass divider over the counter), and friendly. We had accidentally locked our keys in our car. The Cranes Mill Marina team working the AM shift on June 9th went above and beyond in helping us retrieve them and adjusted our rental time to accommodate our mistake. I was a first time boater and asked a bunch of questions that they happily answered. Thank you guys for all the assistance and helping me create memories with my family that will last a lifetime!

We launch here every weekend we can get on the water! Staff is always friendly, the store has everything you need for a day on the water and the bathrooms are so clean and a welcomed amenity!

Nice place to rent a boat. Had a blast and the employees give great costumer service with fair pricing. Spent the day out on Canyon Lake with 20 people and a double decker pontoon boat. Will be back for sure....

If I could give this place less stars I would. I went here on a holiday looking to rent anything boat jet ski kayaks anything when I walked in I was not greeted or acknowledged as I stood in line two men cut in front of me and were greeted and assisted. Once they were done I stood there and waited for a few so one of the 4 women up front could address me and I could ask my question. I was never asked if I needed anything so I stepped up to the counter myself. Immediately the staff at this place attitude changed and became hostile towards me my question wasn’t greeted with a smile like everyone else’s were and It was as if they didn’t want me there. The answers were short and the girl behind the counter looked angry to have to assist me..... don’t go here there are plenty old friendly places on the lake that will rent to you and for better prices as well!!!!!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Had some glass debris in my boat, I asked to borrow a broom and they were kind enough to let us borrow one and even brought out a vacuum for us to use. I had my kids on the boat so it was very thoughtful of them. Thanks.

Staff was great, very nice and great to work with. Ladies restroom was horrrible, no AC. Soon as you took a shower you needed another.Lighting leading into marina at night was either low or non existant.Needs a spruce up.

After frequenting this marina since 1988, I was turned away to use their boat ramp yesterday. I have paid $20 every time for many years but now that is not allowed. I tried to buy the year pass for $300 and something dollars only to be told they are not selling any more passes, they cut off at 75. SMH! I have supported this business longer than any I have done business just to be kicked to the curb. Its turning into a rental spot more than serving the clientele that supported them over the years, What a shame!

Even took care of me when I messed up my online reservation... Price was very reasonable. Would return and strongly suggest for a quick adventure.

Normally like this marina but went there on our boat with an almost empty gas tank at 5:30 (website says they close at 6:30) and the employee was still there but refused to sell us gas. He said they were closed.

We recently camped at Cranes Mill Park on Canyon Lake. We decided to rent a boat from Cranes Mill Marina as the location was very convenient, just outside the entrance to the park. We had reserved the boat for three hours. However, we were only able to go out on the lake for two hours because I cut my foot. The store manager, Mary Lewis, was very understanding and refunded us for the last hour that we didn’t use. We will definitely return to Canyon Lake as it was beautiful! Also, we will definitely use Cranes Mill Marina, as the staff was friendly and helpful, the boats are very nice! All in all, great experience!

Love this place! The employees and especially JP are all amazing! They go out of their way to help you !!! We had problems starting our boat and JP scheduled sometime to come out and fix it. Always someone to help you no matter what it is. Great place to water ski, tube, swim ! We love water skiing there. The water is blue like seen in the Caribbean...

Great little country marina.

We rented a boat for 6 hours. The fuel was not full but they said we had enough. We ran out of fuel in the way back in. They had to come tow us. Other than that, the day was a fun one.

3 times our boat submarines almost sinking and workers told us they are new and falling apart. No refund offered, rain check offered. Then wave runner quit working and they said had a stick in it which waiver we paid for does nothing. They said “let’s call it even “ from our boat almost sinking and having to tow wave runner back in. Lost 2 hours of 4 hour rental. Very poorly done

Great friendly staff.

Beware of their shady business practices involving the boat club memberships. Half the time you cancel a booking several days in advance the system just didnt get the cancellation and they try to bill you for a no show day. The business manager is unpleasant to work with and they generally try to take advantage of you anyway they can. Ive had to present emails and computer screen shots on multiple occasions to avoid getting billed for services never rendered. I found the experience between not being able to get the admiral level boats I was paying for and the abusive billing practices unbecoming to say the least. I never had any issues with single day rentals or other staff so if I am forced to use them for an event I will just be sticking to their daily rental system.

Fantastic Service!. My family had a blast on Canyon Lake. We rented Jet Skis one day, and the next day we rented a ski boat for 4 hours. After 2 hours on the boat my boys were wore out with Skiing and tubing. We returned to Crane Mills Marina and they let us swap out the boat for jet skis.Great Staff, all friendly and helpful. The young lady inside, Cherise I think I spelled that correct, was super. Thanks again to all the staff at Crane Mills marina on Canyon Lake, TX. You made our family vacation a blast.

I was very hesitant to get a slip etc. Not because of the marina but because of the costs involved. I am so glad I got one here at Cranes Mill. Cody and JP / the entire staff was so dang helpful. They make everything very convenient. They have great help. I broke down on the other side of the lake, they towed me right back to the slip without any issues. I am very very pleased with Cranes Mill Marina and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

Based on reviews we choose Cranes Mill Marina and we are so glad we glad we did. Professional, gracious, and efficient. We had a blast and so did our one year old grandson. Clean, new Sea Ray in perfect condition. We had so much fun and the water was perfect!!!

I have rented boats here for years, and they have gotten better and better! Boats and wave runners are reasonably priced and the staff are very helpful. If you want to enjoy Canyon Lake without the hassle of owning a boat, get to know these folks !

Amazing Marina. We showed up and rented a slip with no reservation. The staff went above and beyond. Amazing spot on the lake. We will drive around the lake to utilize this marina every time we visit the lake! Highly recommend!

Full service marina, in water, covered storage, fuel, rental boats, and wave runners. Also has good convenience store, with everything you need.Service was excellent, we rented a pontoon party boat for the day, and were totally satisfied. Also has large, wide boat launching ramp. All and All, we were very pleased.

I lost my wedding ring somewhere on the trip to canyon lake, and it was a Gold Ring, i went to several places barbecue and swimming,when I came back home I realized that its missing I looked everywhere but couldnt find it, finally I decided to call these Great guys and they told me they found it and they have it, I went there picked it up.I was really surprised by their honesty and I will be grateful for them forever.Onside of that they have Excellent customer service, friendly people, and they have the best crew and boats and jet-skis , and of course we hade a great time and lots of fun.Thank you Cranes Mill Marina.

I must give credit to RT out at Cranes Mill Marina. I was out there couple days ago. My boat sprung a leak and I was taking on water fast. I was lucky enough to get it to Cranes Mill in time. RT and his guys came out right away with some high speed bilge pumps. They literally saved my boat from sinking. They were kind enough to tow me to a boat lift and give us a ride back to our truck. They went way beyond the normal call of duty. Thanks RT to you and your guys!

The lake was a great place to be. The dock workers were polite, but having to go back to the marina TWICE for equipment that should have already been on the boat is unexceptionable. Thankfully the dock workers gave us another 45 minutes to stay out on the boat. When we came it to pay the manager was being very rude to us saying we were late, but the dock workers clearly gave us extra time which is what we told the manager. He was a very rude man by giving us attitudes an rolling his eyes. Never will I come back to this marina!!!!!!

We rented the towable pontoon last weekend and it was amazing! Service was quick and the staff is very friendly. Reserve online if you are able to, it speeds up the process. There werent many customers there, but, arrival/check-in/onboard took about 10-15 mins. Make sure to ask for a tube/skis if you are renting the towable boats. We forgot the tube and had to go back but they adjusted our time accordingly. Wonderful experience for the family! Thank you Cranes Mill, see yall again soon!
