Quiet beautiful park plenty on playground for children!!! A small bridge connects to another walking path providing additional walking mileage for those looking to get their steps on like me! Highly recommended

Very nice park with huge greenspace and riverside trail that is part boardwalk but mostly paved concrete. Unfortunately for most of the main trail youre not close enough to the river to actually see it except where the bridge crossing is. However, at one point in the trail theres a branch off it (see photo #7) that takes you to the river, but be forewarned it is currently extremely overgrown as you get further into it towards the river. The trail connects this park to Heritage Park which is also nice.

This place is very much under promoted. At least 4 miles of beautifully paved new pathways with more under construction. Combination of both very open park like areas as well as tree covered pathways. Perfect for walking, running, biking, picnicking, solo trips or family and pet & kid friendly playgrounds. Ill definitely be back.

The park contains quite a spacious greenery large enough to hold drone shows with a quaint playground for the kiddos. It also has a wonderful trail with an overlook of the Etowah river/creek. This place was a wonderful little discovery and I heartily recommend it!

The City of Canton did a great job and created this park as a destination, and exit. Its a destination for activities and organized events as well as typical activities for people to enjoy in a park. Theres also a canoe launch (or exit) the Etowah River with a dedicated lot, so spend some time time here to be here, to start a paddle trip, out end one.

I really enjoy the walk at this park especially when walking from Etowah River Park into Heritage Park. There is an area that is beautiful with canopy of trees over head. The entire walk way is concrete. There are several people always around so be aware of many joggers and bicycles passing you.If you have a fearful dog, may not be the best park. A lot is usually going on.Also, they do have events there which is usually announced prior. There is a covered picnic area and a fun playground for the kids. They do play sports there. Mainly soccer and lacrosse that I have seen.

Love this park it backs up to Canton Mills Lofts so we are literally steps away from crossing our parking lot and walking on one of many walking paths & bike trails to get to this park. We even cross this great Canton swing bridge. The play ground is super fun for the kids big and little. There are open fields for soccer, field hockey or just lounging along the grass places. They even have live outdoor music concerts in the summer months. This is simply a great place to come and relax in.

The playground here is clean and well-designed. The kids surely enjoy their escapades here. And while that is all fun and good, I personally enjoy the paved and unpaved parts of the trail, exploring alongside Etowah River and the expansive fields, which is perfect for throwing frisbees!I look forward to frequently visiting this park and area.

The park was nice but the larger play structure area was flooded and, to me, seemed to have poor water management in mind. The steps lead down to this play structure and it was holding water like a small pond. I know weve had tons of rain but I feel like that would happen more than it should.

I went during the late winter, in February, and there really wasnt much to see. Most of the trees had lost their leaves and the weather was cold and rainy, with the ground mostly frozen mud. But, Im sure in the summer this place comes alive, there are fields for soccer and lots of walking trails. Just be sure to come when everything isnt grey and brown!

Very nice and well kept! Beautiful scenery where the bridge is and its well shaded which is a huge plus because we have 2 little babies in a stroller. Highly recommend for any family with kids. Even those that have handicaps bc theres a playground with handicap accessibility. Wish there was more shaded areas around playground but other than that we loved it!

Would be a great park if there were more shades over tge playground. Midday the slides and equipment are to hot to be on in the summer. Also recommend a bathroom closer to the bridge side of field. Its a long walk for a 2yr old to go to the potty. Would be amazing if they had a splash pad as well. So much space to do so much more with. I posted pics of the climbing section of the playground. There are sharp wires poking out and is very dangerous for a kid running by and not see it.
