Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had my 21 yr old autistic stepson there to play and he was being loud. After i hushed him one time the course worker came over and said hes OK we need a little loudness on the course to shake things up. The course was in great shape and the greens were excellent. Nice place to play on a beautiful fall cool day.

I was stuck in Canton unexpectedly and had time to play both Monday and Tuesday. Staff at the bar/restaurant were great.Pro shop is sub par, very little offered. Plenty of room to stock golf items. No Starter or ever saw a Ranger on the course, so the result was slow play on both days.Being a private course that is open to public is a challenge. Just need to figure it out. Hard to attract and keep non members coming if the course only caters to Members.

Course Id horrible! Not a golf course- more like a goofy golf course. 180° hole with very narrow landing zones? Slanted hills and straight drop offs for balls to go to never-never land( only a yard from fairway. Must be a near pro or hit super senior that cant hit it far enough to get in trouble. Nope wont go back. 1 positive is the grill/lounge had fabulous food, beer and absolutely fantastic staff!!

With all the rain weve had lately, the course was drier than I expected and the greens rolled well. A very scenic course as well, especially on 18 tee.

Fairways of Canton is one of my favorite courses to play. The course has a very fun and challenging layout (hole 3 is always a fun challenge). The price cannot be beat. Conditions are generally very good as well. Highly recommend checking the course out!

They refused to honor a reservation made through Golf Now. They would not help to get refund. They would not offer to try and get us on the course that day. My son had driven almost 4 hours to play golf with me. The man there said they had no responsibility to honor the reservation. The lady said they had not allowed bookings for 2 weeks. I went on with my cell and could have booked another time that day. They did not care. Horrible customer service

First time here, strategic layout, course knowledge is very helpful. Conditions were very good for December. Staff was attentive and price was outstanding for what we played.

If you like a links style course, then the Fairways of Canton is for you. Its reasonably priced and the close is in excellent shape. They pro shop staff are very friendly and the carts are nice.

Challenging course. We had a lot of fun playing in a Marta charity tournament here today. Course is in good shape. Will go back.

Affordable course. Greens can be iffy but are typically adequate for the most part. Management could be better.

I was in town visiting family and played (most of) a round here. The course itself was actually pretty nice and kept well. Greens were firm and very fast.Had to rent clubs and they gave me a mismatched set of about 8 clubs total with no driver and no putter, the wedge was left-handed, and one of the woods was broken. And I paid $20 for the privilege. Just had to use my playing partners clubs the whole time.Pace of play was also terrible. No one there to move play along. Constantly waiting for each shot. It took 3h30min to play 15 holes and finally just had to leave.With all the other options in the area, this is at the bottom of my list going forward.

Nice, course, test you abilty to drive straight with narrow fairways. Greens were challenging as well really enjoyed the entire place.

FAST(Kinda) and Firm! Loved it! The rough would penalize you when we played on 9/23/17. The course and greens were terrific and the Price was CHEAP! Diamond in the rough, like Bradshaw!

Great course with spectacular views of North Georgia mountains! Short but challenging; especially holes #3 and #15. The only negative is that the tee boxes need to be sanded to soften them.

I have been to this course probably 100 times since my freshman year in high school and I’ve never been so disappointed in a golf course than I am today. I am now 21 years old and still golf here on a regular basis due to me being a local. I was there today on Saturday, February 17, 2018. I arrived at 2:15 to a sign saying “ProShop Closed” so that’s fine I was leaving, then an employee in the restaurant connected came up to me saying “these people have the worst work eithic I have ever seen, we are not closed. Please go ahead and help yourself continue and do whatever you do since nobody is here to assist you” so I did. I walked out and got on the golf cart and proceeded to start my round. When I was on the tee box of the second hole an elderly man pulled up on another golf cart yelling at me saying “where the hell did you come from? You know damn well you have to pay to be on this course” I calmly said “Sir, I am not trying to argue but one of your employees in the restaurant told me to proceed to my round of golf due to you just wanting to leave work early” then he threatened me to call the police saying I was “stealing” their golf cart and how it is a $7,000 fine and bow I don’t look like I can afford that. (I’m 21 years old and just bought my first $45,000 car on my own with no co-signer. I made $84,713 my first year with my sales job. I built my first house.) He obviously doesn’t know me. I would love to see this old rude man fired from this beautiful golf course. He was the most rude inconsiderate man I have ever met during my 21 years here. I will be sure to let all of my colleagues and customers know to never golf at this location. I take numerous customers of mine golfing at least once a week. This golf course has failed the golf equity test. Worst in the state of Georgia hands down.

This course has been working hard to make my experience very pleasant. Greens and fairways were looking good and the restaurant had some nice selections

We have played and loved Fairways of Canton for several years and have always had a great outing. We were very surprised to find very poor conditions yesterday the greens and tee boxes were in terrible shape and the surrounding areas were overgrown and dirty. The cart paths were beginning to breakdown and I had guest with me. We will wait for a very long time before we book another tee time there.

I was a regular golfer at this place along with my partner until the day i showed up as a single. Apparently your money is no good unless you bring a friend along to pay also. Their were 12 cars in the parking lot at around 8:30-9 with nobody on the t box and i was turned away.

I really like this course. Its not a full mountain course, but has some really fun holes. Beware of the the pin placement. Most of the greens are tiered so be sure you land on the tier with the pin.

A suprisingly beautiful course! Scenery reminded me a lot of Ashville, NC with its mountain views on some holes. The staff was exceptionally nice!

Absolutely awful. Uninformed staff. A buddy and I tried to have a nice golf outing 2 weeks ago. The front desk staffer let us drive off with 2 carts one for each of us. We warmed up and arrived at the first tee where the starter saw us off. We conpleted the first 9 holes and were having a great time until an old geiser showed up on a golf cart and demanded we turn one of our carts in as it had been explained to us that it was course policy. This course policy was never declared to us and they had plenty of opportunities to inform us of this. Very rude staff and will definitely not be paying for any more rounds at this facility there are other quality courses that appreciate their customers business.

Visited this golf course yesterday....the lay out of the golf course is good but the condition was very poor. Obviously the golf course has a VERY small maintenance budget. The fairways hadnt been cut in weeks. There was tree debris from a storm on the 4th and 5th holes with trees laying down on the fairway and tee boxes. The 15th hole should be blown up...the height of the grass in the fairway was 4-5 tall...horrendous. Given a good maintenance budget you could turn this course around but obviously they are just getting by.
