We came for the afternoon and had a great time! There were plenty of tables well spaced outside. The staff was very nice, and we really enjoyed the wines. There was a nice variety of reds and whites to choose from. The grounds were amazing as well. Its such a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and relax.

Absolutely gorgeous grounds, the buildings and views are truly outstanding, wonderfully maintained outdoor area. The llamas and goats were so much fun to say hello to. I can’t speak for the wine myself, but I have heard it’s quite good.

Every one of their wines is sensational. The quality really shows, the flavors stand out and they are full of character. The staff and owners are also incredibly welcoming and friendly. The combination of stand-out wines, friendly low-key atmosphere, and the gorgeous scenery is the reason St.Josefs is the first wine club ever joined! Amazing experience.

We belong to their wine club. In addition to the tasty wines, the owners and staff are wonderful. The tables above their lake are perfect for a glass of their Sparkling Lili.

St. Josefs is a small family owned and operated winery located near Canby, Oregon.Josef and his wife Lilly are a delight to talk to. Their son and daughter have taken over the day to day running of the winery. They offer a wide variety of whites and reds. They are very good and reasonably priced.Through out the year they hold events that are family friendly. The events include tastings and music and food. The grape stomping festival is a lot of fun. If you are lucky enough to get your name drawn, you can litarately stomp some grapes in a huge barrel while the crowd cheers you on.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The place has a good energy to it. They have outdoor summer concerts that you can bring a picnic basket to and enjoy the music along with a bottle of their wine. It is a nice place to relax.

When we had to completely reschedule and reimagine our wedding day due to the COVID-19 virus and the financial problems this pandemic has caused our family, I did not expect that the vendor we would have the most issues with was St. Josefs. Tara was the least available of all my vendors to discuss changes, was incredibly insensitive, and promised options for accommodating changes due to COVID-19 that were not followed through on.All my vendors were quick to communicate and offer new dates, options, and make adjustments, Tara responded to emails with a huge delay, during which we made plans for a new date where St. Josefs was unavailable. Tara was downright rude in communicating that they were unable to refund our deposit because of canceling due to personal reasons - those reasons being a pandemic, our new date not being available, as well as the immense and unpredicted financial strain and stress of planning, reschedule, and/or throwing a wedding amidst a global crisis. How we treat others during challenges is so representative of our true selves, and St. Josefs has proven themselves to be heartless, cold, and dismissive.UPDATE: I changed my review from 1 to 2 stars, after I posted this review, they sent me half my deposit back.

Their two day German themed Grape Stomp Festival in September is always a great time! The food, wine, music (Donaumusikanten, from Germany), dancing and the possibility of getting chosen to stomp grapes is well worth the visit. They also have events throughout the year including weekly musical events by their pond. Its always a good time.Joe and Lilli started the winery back the 70s. Its now ran by them and two more generations of this really neat family.

If I could give St. Josefs a ten-star rating I would! Our family held a surprise birthday party for my wifes 40th last Saturday evening, and it was the perfect setting. The staff was an absolute joy to work with, Tara was very accommodating and Ruthie was the perfect hostess! After our experience, I dont see the need to recommend anywhere else. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

I had a good time here. Staff was friendly. Was really surprised by the amount charged for a tasting though. Basically 2 dollars a sip.. I was disappointing because its a select few to taste. Anything I wanted to try, I was told that it wasnt available for the tasting. Then they want you to buy 3 bottles of wine to waive the tasting. But same thing, anything I would buy, I wasnt able to taste. Frustrating when thats the whole point of trying wine..

This Winery its just outside Canby Oregon not far from the Portland urban area. The winery is in a fantastic rural area and has all the amenities that you would want. The winery is there for weddings and other functions. We attended a retirement party and it a beautiful day at beautiful Winery good place to goIt must noted that the womens bathroom did have a clog and you may expect that as it is a small bathroom for both men and women and if theres a large function there might be some plungers in use. Just a heads up.The winery does not have a lot of parking but you can park near The Vineyards and Quonset Huts. There is no handicap parking here.

Architecture of the winery is great.Attended their 40th anniversary tasting and the wines were all very sub par.We went on the tour which had some fun info but the guide made some cheap sexist joke comparing new grapes to tight, firm young woman and older grapes to wrinkly mature woman who have bettered in their age.Not my thing.
