The river is great! It used to be much more quite here. In the last year it has become really crowded!

Peaceful place which you can safely spend time with your kids. Shallow water with pebbles which means mess free play for kids. Vehicles can be parked near by. Just loved this place.

Cute hidden park. Small place very crowded. People all around us, lots of kids because of the shallow part of the river. Easy to miss parking lot from road not easily visible. Small stretch of rocky beach. Near the knight bridge. Shallow stretch of water excellent for kids to swim. My kids will swim almost in any temperature of water.

Honestly probably one of the best swim spots Ive been to in a long time. The water is super clear and only comes up to about your mid thigh. Perfect for kids.

Love this place. So relaxing, great for swimming with the kids.

We love taking our kids here to throw rocks and float the river. It can get crowded during the weekends but not as much as George Rogers. Another perk is that its usually always shaded!

Actually had to park there to change a flat tire. But the river was inviting. Yes I did dip my feet in and cooper walked in, laid down and drank a little.

Crowded sometimes but nice

I spent a lot of my childhood here, everyone respects the park and theres really no trash. The current isnt too strong and the water is deep enough for the adults to have fun too

1 st there had a blast with my boys!!

Pulling weeds for the Lord is like doing Steps 4 thru 7; 1st (step 4), i make a thorough inventory of weeds to pull; 2nd (step 5), i get the ortho ground clear ready to remove the exact nature of the weeds; 3rd (step 6), pull weed stems & leaf pods if possible; 4th (step 7), stream ground clear onto weed so it goes right down to the root... In 5-7 days, the leaf pod will pull up easily = weed gone for a season...

Good swimming hole will be crowded in the summer

I have returned in recent years to find this place is better than ever.

Does anyone know when the concrete barriers are moved,allowing one to get to the parking lot? Its such a beautiful day again- it would be fantastic to be able to access the Waters edge a bit easier for a person with disabilities. It may be a little early yet...but I seem to recall bringing my kids in years past, before school had been let out for summer. Then again, memory can be an interesting closet at times....anyway, smile- & Thanx !

A quiet, very Serene and peaceful place to excapeback to nature without the police patroling your space making a stress full visit inevitably. great place. handicapped friendly, its basically flat with enough trees and bushes to make you feel like big sky country. entryway into the Riverside parking lot a little unsafe unless your focused and aWare nothing dangerous.yes you can build a fire, have alcoholic beverages. portapower furnished and its less than mile from town. unbelieveable
