I have skated at the skateboard park for 20 years. My kids grew up playing on the playground and running around the fields. Love this park!

Very nice park to relax in the shade and watch the cars wiz by on 50. Plenting of shaded parking along the street.

Beautiful park with huge field playground and skate park.

The skate park at the McAuliffe Park in CP is a disaster waiting to happen. There are no bicycles allowed in the skate park. Today (6/11/20) a young girl about 12 years old challenged me because she wanted to ride her bike, along with her younger brother, in the skate park. Neither one wore helmets and bikes are not allowed. She left after she saw that I was call the cops to resolve this solution. I had two young grandsons who were riding their scooters in the park.Either this park needs to have mandatory parental supervision or someone from the park district must be present to solve these problems. I should not have to call the cops in order to get these kids off the skate park in order to protect the younger, law-abiding, kids who want to ride their scooters in a safe environment.

This place has everything for a community park: playground, skate park, a large grass field, restrooms, parking. Top rated. Great for kids, youth, adults, dogs. Many events throughout the year.

Really good park for the kids. They have a great playground and there is also a skate park here. The bathroom facilities are above average for a park.

My boy loves the skate park. We had it to ourselves for almost an hour.

There was some dirty discarded clothing but other than that my children really enjoyed themselves!

Great place for the kiddos

Old field along side freeway. Enjoyed skunk smell the entire game. Natural grass field where one boy fell really hard because he tripped. Restrooms are open cinder block boxes. Mens was an absolute mess. It was at the end of the day so it may have backend earlier that same day. There is a huge play ground structure, which is personally the parks best asset. Its on the bigger kid side, so many things would scare my wife if she saw my 4yo doing.
