Classic outdoor music arena in Camden. I’ve been coming here for concerts for 25 years, sitting mostly on the lawn. Bring a blanket and enjoy the Philly sunset and Ben Franklin Bridge night views. Parking is now $40! Decent selection of beer and beverages. They’ve really stepped it up in this area. You will pay about $16 (larger size can). It seems they are packing more people into this venue so expect at least an hour to leave the parking lots after a show.

Live Nation staffers are always helpful & very friendly! Bathrooms are clean. Food prices are steep, eat before you arrive. Security is quick & efficient so lines move smoothly, at least with Deadheads! Always a good setup for Dead & Company! Only wish patrons wouldnt throw their garbage all over town, not the venues fault, just some sloppy folks that dont really understand the world theyre in.

Overall a pretty nice place. I would recommend eating before you go because the prices at the place are OUTRAGEOUS if they really wanted to make money they would lower the prices a little so people would buy more food (like some stadiums do). The only thing worse than the food is the super expensive parking. I would recommend parking far for free then taking an Uber in because I didn’t want to pay $40 to park.

This place is pretty great for concerts. The parking lot port-a-pottys do not have toilet ever so just be prepared for that. If you go into the actual building, there are clean bathrooms and many options for drinks and food. There are usually fun vendors as well during a concerts, we spun a wheel and got some free stuff. The concert set up is great, plenty of lawn space for seating.

Great spot to take in a show. Beautiful view of South Philly across the Delaware. If you dont want up deal with traffic and expensive parking take the ferry from Penns Landing if your coming from Philly. Get the full experience. Take a blanket, some chairs and closed water and snacks for a less expensive time. Of course theres food, snacks and vendors for most normal event needs, expect to pay premium prices obviously.

I was very impressed with this venue. Sounds quality was great sitting towards the back left of the covered seats. The Grass was packed with people. Nice breeze coming off the water felt great as it would have been warm otherwise. Ferry would have been the best choice to get back to Philly after the concert. Getting an Uber or Lyft want very smooth and then sitting in the concert traffic trying to get back across the bridge was annoying

Nice venue to see a concert! Last time I had been at the venue was about 20 years ago, so I was impressed that it wasnt in terrible shape. Plenty if bathrooms, easily accessed food and drink vendors. The lawn area wasnt too much of a hill.Had lawn tickets, didnt realize we could bring our own lawn chairs or would have. We just had a blanket, spread out our own space. We were able to see the stage decent and also view the screens to have a better view. Well worth the affordable ticket price. Food and drink prices were average. I was excited we got to keep our caps on our waters! Most venues take them these days. Chicky & Pete fries were good. Alcohol prices werent too bad.

To date my favorite venue for any concert. I’ve been on the lawn as well as inside close to the stage and I’ve always had a good time. They offer a wide choice of food and drinks and display an even wider variety of music genres. They also supply great opportunities for light shows and interesting stage arrangements. I will definitely be going back for more shows and to enjoy the static atmosphere.

Only downfall is there isn’t parking on premises you gotta park and walk, but isn’t a bad deal either.

Tweeter Center, Susquehanna Bank Center, BB&T Center and whatever other label this venue has had before is a good place to have a good time for a show. Yes the personnel at will call have issues here and there, but thats due to them not being informed about all the extras some artists may have available. The food & drinks will milk your wallet, but you come for the show not the food and maybe a few beers. Seating is snug and tight, so be prepared to rub elbows/arms with other people unless you want to be way in the back via the lawn area. Lawn area is cool depending on the weather and if you cant see the artist at your position look at the giant monitors on the side top of the seating area structure. The one main issue is the bathroom for men. When the show is really alive and kicking its like a traffic jam in a single file waiting to go to the bathroom. With all the people around youre not sure if its people at merch tables or at the different liquor vendors. Traffic is a pain to and from, but Camden County police and local traffic officials help you out to the parking area and/or the way to leave. You want to enjoy the show attend if not go somewhere else that you prefer. Not all venues are perfect.

Saw Doobie Brothers and Carlos Santana 8/24/19Im only taking away a star for the ridiculous $40 parking fee and the fact the place is not very handicapped friendly. My mom uses one of those walkers with a seat that she can rest on mid journey if necessary. A HUGE set of steep stairs (40+ stairs) and a long ramp were all we saw originally. The staff didnt say There is a shorter set of stairs in the middle if you want to try there. (maybe 20 steps - right beside where we sat and much easier to navigate). So very thankful that once we made it out of the venue two guys in a golf cart were able to take my mom and aunt to the car. Sound was INCREDIBLE. Huge HIGH QUALITY screens made it feel like we had one of the best seats in the house. Tolls, gas and parking made it more expensive but I wouldnt rule it out in the future (2 hr drive from my house-more with traffic). *2 pics of the full stage are zoom-ins from the lawn. The other 3 are pics of the video screens.

I use the side entrance..I pass the main one and youll see it on the left. No alcohol is allowed in but Ive taken in water thats open. Parking is usually $30 to $40 and is close enough. The furthest is about 3 blocks. Its all set up easily. The lawn is very large and on an angle to help views. You can rent chairs for $5. They have food, drinks, alcohol, merchandise. Soda is free refills. There are tables to sit at and a couple bars with seating. They have TV screens to see more detail of the show. Theres also an interior section with food, merch, drinks and bathroom. If you buy lawn or general admission, theres no cover so watch the weather for your show date.

4 stars only because the venue is outdoor. Ive been to shows at staples center, Meadowlands Arena, MSG and other small indoor venues so a 5 star would end up there. That being said, BB&T pavilion is by far THE BEST outdoor venue for any show, any band any genre. Seat layout is great and always priced fair. Concessions (priced high as hell like every other venue sports or other) blow other venues away in the quality, popularity, and options categories. Lets not forget the sound system. Best outdoor sound Ive ever heard. Makes PNC sound like an 8 track cassette playing over bass amp with blown $3.00 speakers) I know your thinking, but its in Camden and youre right. HOWEVER, the new Rutgers campus has really made an impact on the area surrounding the venue making parking, walking from and back to your vehicle and the overall atmosphere (now more underage friendly) a worry free, headache free and crime free(Im sure from time to time a ruckus can occur like at every event in history) and somewhat enjoyable experience as it should be. Gated parking on campus makes for the perfect pre-game spot with attendants security and yes.......POLICE PATROLS. Give it a chance or even a second if you havent been in a while. BB&T pavilion is definitely THE outdoor venue in the tri-state area. Places like Jones beach and The Stone Pony summer stage are (were) awesome spots. But the as needed fold away stage and sound cant compete with a permanent, sheltered electrical system and sound system built to blow your face off. Go see you favorite ( or kids favorite) band in Camden. If you have a bad time, its probably your fault. Showed up late, Frank to much, bought phony scalper tickets, or lit the joint right in front of that cop you didnt see. Cant blame the city or venue for any of that. Some of you probably will though. Hahahaha. Enjoy the show!!!!

Located on the Camden waterfront, near the battleship. Parking for events can be $30 or more. Roads leading to the pavilion parking arent great. That said, nice place for a concert. There is a caveat however. We had seat tickets in the 200 section, but spent the first half outsider on the lawn. While the lawn view, unless youre near the front edge, isnt great the sound is quite good. Inside, under the roof, in the seats, the sounds had too much base and also a ring. Bottom line (and its your choice): inside is weather protected with a better view; outside is exposed and better sound.

Ive hated on this place for years, and there are still issues with very expensive and far-away parking, and anemic or dangerous mass transit options for traveling here, but a recent visit has me liking it again. They have finally updated the video screens for the lawn, but the biggest update have been the addition of the giant behind-stage high-def video screen, and the sound quality for lawn patrons. Lawn is a stretch, its dirt so compacted it may as well be concrete, but lets not be too picky. The view from the mid lawn with big screen is outstanding, and the sound was crystal clear and mixed very well. The food is expensive and of a quality to be expected in a venue like this. Not great, but it gets the job done. Drinks are expensive, and I still dont understand why they think everyone wants 25 oz. beers, but whatever. What I love most about the lawn here is the views! Head to the right lawn about halfway up and the philly skyline view is great. And, even on the hottest days its seems like you can always catch a breeze.

We went to see the Darius Rucker and Lady Antebellum concert. Just in approaching the venue we knew it would not be an ideal situation. Took forever to park, mostly due to poorly trained parking attendants who were sending cars down rows where the were no spots, so drivers had to do almost impossible u-turns at dead ends. For the $40 fee, it should be easier. Finally inside the venue, which thankfully did not take long, we made our day to the River Deck, which wer had each paid an additional $35 for. We were promised a private bar, private bathroom and city views. The city view was the only redeeming factor. The private bathroom was a tilted port a potty with zero light inside (thank goodness for cell phones flashlights). The bartender was nice enough, but one of the beers we ordered was stale and the $17 hummus plate had clearly been in a refrigerator for weeks - disgusting and inedible (in the bartenders defense when we ordered it she did point to the fact that there was a hot dog cart just outside the deck). We finally gave up on the deck and went down to our seats where we enjoyed the rest of the concert thankfully. My advice: go to this venue after enjoying dinner elsewhere and have low expectations. Public transportation may also be the way to go.

I absolutely love this venue Ive been to alot of outdoor venues like BB&T in Camden but BB&T for sure stands out to me the stage area is not the largest Ive been to but it projects sounds extremely well very clear and it carries all the way around the seating area even to the farthest corners of the lawn areas I mean great just great sound all the way around and for those less fortunate or hearing or vision impaired they have some pretty cool toys like gigantic viewing monitors outside of the actual pavilion so even they person at the farthest point from the stage can get a great view of what is going on onstage and the cameras are very tech adv and you cant complain about not hearing whatever event their hosting because theres some pretty big and expensive speakers that are not only provided at the stage area and seating area as well as their lawn section their installed all over the entire campus so even if you need a bathroom break or a bite to eat from a generous variety of over priced food vendors well you can still hear whatever event you came to enjoy one thing I do believe that BB&T should look into upgrading there is installing some smaller monitors around the campus like in the bathrooms and concessions areas outside so patrons there can also see what they came to see as well as hear it if the decide venture away from the stage for a potty or food and drink break or even if they just need some space from the crowds of people swarming around the stage area but BB&T PAVILION I LOVE IT if their hosting one of your favorite events make sure to participate

The area surrounding this location is a bit run down, but inside has a great atmosphere no matter the event. Ive been here multiple times and never once had a bad experience.

September 7th 2019, this is my birthday... My husband is September 4th... This was our gift to each other... Our wedding song is Zac Brown free extended version with Into the Mystic... Be sent in the request and Zac Brown brought it this night and sing a wedding song to us... We cannot tell everyone involved how grateful and lovely it was for this... Thank you to all you made a very wonderful memory

Beautiful venue. We sat in the pavilion and had a great time. Section 201 row B seat 7 and 8 had a great view with an aisle in front of us so we could lean on the railing and climb out easily. Big screens are great. BE PREPARED. .PARKING IS $40.TRAIN & the GOO GOO DOLLS were increduble.
