A lovely place to take an invigorating walk on the approx. 1.5 mile path around Round Lake, or exploring the many paths through the park. The lake is lovely and filled with paddle boarders, kayaks and swimmers during the summer months. People in the area are friendly in my experience. My only complaint is regarding the lazy pet owners who dont bag their poop, OR bag and leave it on the trail. I assume you are competent people in every other way. Why not this? Learn to carry a poop bag that you can double-bag and put your poop bags in until you get to a garbage can. This is so easy even the below-average can do it. Its called responsible pet ownership. PLEASE try harder!

A beautiful park, with a variety of things to see. Two natural waterfalls, the dam, lake, single path trails that trail bikes like to careen down so watch out. There are picnic tables along the lake as well as a small kids park. A nice stretch of walking path is perfect for easy strolling but if you want to take the side paths and do a little more strenuous of a walk you can do that too. If you make it to the top of the cliff that overlooks the Falls and the Park it’s a great view.

I love it here. Its safe for lone hikers. Sometimes I get nervous being on trails alone but there were plenty of people around so I felt completely safe. The main trail is well traveled. There are a lot of little off trails though that led you to waterfalls and the river, past the dam. The vibe here is great. You can tell its very loved by the community that lives in the area. Its a great place to picnic. I found a nice little secluded spot next to the lake and had lunch. I will definitely be making this place a normal spot for me.

Great park for kids, groups, couples, families and individuals. There is a nice playground for kids and 2 docks to fish off or jump off and go swimming. Lots of kayaking, canoeing, rafting and other watercraft on the water. They even have a venue for parties and weddings. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I didnt see anyone being rude or obnoxious. Kids and adults of all ages were having fun.

Great trail to walk on with kids. The park is adorable and I love the view of the lake. Its a dirt trail, my 3 and 4 year old loved running on it while my husband fished off to the side. People were swimming, I didnt see a lifeguard present. They had public restrooms.

I love the outdoors, but just wasnt prepared for the twisty up n down trail path that wsnt Ada friendly. I hoped I could ride my power hair around start to finish, but its much too dangerous. Maybe theres another trail I can use my chair on without fear of slipping down the slope into the lake.

Endless adventures here. My dad and I hiked this morning for 8 miles and 3.5hrs and we did not even see everything. The trails even go up to the houses on prune hill, which is where we parked. We saw all the falls and all the lakes. 2017Hiked this trail again 3/18/19. Some blow downs, but mostly in good condition. Bathrooms by round lake are locked in the winter and the porta john had trash all around it so I didnt even want to try it out, but the bathrooms by the community center across the street were open and clean with running water. It was a beautiful Monday morning. We did an urban hike from my dads place in washougal to round lake to lacamas lake to fallen leaf lake to mill ponds/ washougal river greenway and back to my parents place. Hiked 11.1 miles in 6hrs.

This park is very big. There are kids play grounds, bathrooms, boat launching area, kayaking or peddling and walking trial. People can have big party or wedding event in the party house next to the lake. This park also leads you to Round Lake. Round Lake has better hiking n biking trials. It has BBQ pits, play ground, benches, bathroom. What i like the most is i can hear water falls in the creeks almost the whole entire hike on the back trial.

Its absolutely so beautiful here. The parking lot is very limited and finding additional parking is not easy either. Try not to go during peak hours in order to get a spot. There is a great park with swings and a cool play structure. Theres also a covered eating area and picnic tables lining the lake around the park.As for the hiking trails, they arent extremely kid friendly in my opinion unless that kid is in a backpack. The trails do not accommodate strollers due to some narrow bridge crossings. Very dog friendly though!

We did a short hike with the family around Round Lake. The Camas Lilies were in bloom and provided a beautiful ambiance for getting outside. The trails are well maintained and were dog friendly. My 3 year old had a blast, and was able to navigate the 2+ mile hike all on her own - huge bonus. There was some elevation so this trail may not be great if you have a disability that climbing is a challenge. The Lilly field trail is full of uneven rock, so no strollers or other wheels (bikes are not allowed - foot traffic only). All in all, great hike and for the few weeks that the Camas Lilies are in bloom - that much better of a hike!!

Small roots push through gravel and dirt trails as youre led around a beautiful lake, through an almost overgrown forest. You have amazing waterfalls and peaceful meadows at your disposal to meditate and accompany you on your route.Commonly found on the trails are bicyclists, joggers, hikers, and the occasional hobbyist with their almost true to life scale 4x4 truck.Enjoy the trails and dont forget to tread lightly; pack out more than you pack in.
