Super nice trail! Great for walking, jogging or biking! This trail has a few side trails that can lead to the washougal river. Very beautiful all year round. The trail is about a mile long and has a bridge going over the river. Tables in a few spots for picnics and huge field for dogs to run free! Check it out.

The lower falls is only about a mile in-- an easy hike on a flat trail. There, you have a stunning bridge, trailhead to the upper falls, and an area to hike down and see the lower falls. The area is absolutely stunning. We brought in lunch and sat on a huge boulder overlooking the falls. Truly a short & easy trip with gorgeous visual rewards.

Good trails get muddy at times. Couple of nice waterfalls! But can be very busy due to proximity to town.

I come here with a friend and we use it as a running trail. There are so many different paths you can take that its very easy to vary your distance or intensity by just turning at a different time. The scenery is beautiful, and there are plenty of places to play in the water or otherwise enjoy nature. Its a lovely place to be, and Id recommend it to anyone.

Taking a walk on Lacamas Creek Trail takes you completely out of your world. You could be anywhere in the woods, but youll never get there as fast as you can heading for Creek Bridge.

A wide variety of hiking and bike trails. Trails are easy to moderate. There are a couple of waterfalls, lake and of course the creek. All of this in the heart of Camas

I cant wait until the parking construction is done here. this trailhead is sort of hidden but the parking area is large and shady and there is so many access points to the river in the shade. when it gets cold its fun to go at twilight and be in the red and orange hardwood leaves as the water gets higher and the spikes dark and healthy - it just feels sort of right for a november place.

Lovely hikes throughout the park, but trails are not all marked and slate and rock makes for rough footing. Amazing number of people disregard toxic algae warning and swim, paddle board and let dogs swim.

This is my favorite trail that is this close to Vancouver/Portland. The creek can hardly be called a creek. The rushing creek (river?!) is powerful and wonderful to watch. The forest here is lush and the rocky cliff faces are a geological marvel. After a few steps I feel like I am transported deep into the woods far away. There is a nice bench by the creek you can sit to relax and take in the beauty of your surroundings and a few picnic tables hidden under a dark canopy of trees. Nice and shady and cool in the summer and still walkable and enjoyable in the rain. Connects to Lacamas Lake Park and miles of trails, and multiple waterfalls, lakes, and fields.

I adore this park. At less than a mile from my front doorstep, I practically live here. It has everything you could ask for in a park- scenic hiking, meandering bike trails, swimming at The Potholes, a playground, picnic/grilling areas and public restroom at one end. The Lower Falls and Potholes areas are both the prettiest and the busiest parts of the park. Despite the popularity of the spot it still isnt too hard to trek down a side trail and find a spot where the only sight is nature and the only sound is running water.

The trails around Lacamas Creek and Round Lake in Camas access some of my favorite natural areas and hiking within the Portland metro area. Lush conifer forest with big trees, carpeted with ferns and moss, is dotted with meadows and white oaks. The creek spills from a dam at the end of Round Lake, near one of several trailheads. The creek churns over ledges, cuts through gorges, and is punctuated by two interesting waterfalls. Along the way, there are also a couple serene picnic spots. In addition, the area is not really on the radar of most hikers bound for the gorge, so its generally not too busy. Also, some of the main trails are wide and relatively flat, making it a good spot to bring the family.Although the area is relatively small, there is a lot to explore and you can log a surprising number of miles on the trail network. Lower Falls is really neat, but the view from the bridge above the falls leaves a lot the imagination, as the creek disappears over the horizon below you. Keep your eyes peeled for a small social trail downstream, that leads to a viewpoint where you can actually get a look it. Also, check out the Camas Lily meadows and Woodburn Falls. Both are a ways off the main trail along the creek, but worth the extra effort.
