With my mother we went there to receive enough food for two families.

It felt like unless your kids went into the children’s church/Sunday school they weren’t welcome. Not all kids like to go to children’s church/Sunday school. Heaven forbid a child plays and dances QUIETLY in the back of the sanctuary in the wide open area. If you have a child that they consider distracting they give you a card that says:“Adorable Distraction AwardTake advantage of the mother’s room (in the lobby) to tend to your cheerfully chattering woefully wailing little cutie. Enjoy the services from a rocker with other mothers without your child distracting those around them.Dads should tend to their tots in the lobby.Nursery and toddler care are also available in the Ark.”Im sure the church is just trying to provide information to parents about the different areas that are available to take your children if necessary, but the way His Place has chosen to go about it comes across very tactless and unwelcoming to parents. Today was my families first and last time visiting His Place Community Church. If leaving in the middle of the service would have possible without anyone noticing then we would have left right away.

I am a normal comer to His Place. and I love it! I miss it and I wish I could go back.

While in vacation we decided to go to this lovely church after thoroughly reading their statement of faith online. Excellent Biblically sound message called In His Image from the Pastor. Modern day worship music and songs praising our incredible God. Thank you for the opportunity to worship God with our brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. By the way, this church has an fantastic kids ministry Noahs ark building.

Based on my beliefs, its pretty much the best church in town. My favorite thus far. I can understand why they have such a large congregation. The first time I walked in I knew immediately I had found the right church for me.

Nice place to go 2 Church! Its in a full size replica of Noahs Ark and there is another bldg next door just for the children to attend inside & daycare whilst parents attend church . VERY NICE PLACE!!Its Standing Room *Only on the inside of the church and packed to the gills with tons O people and parking lot was also way full, so get there super early if you wanna good parking spot and leave either B4 or way AFTER everyone goes after church svsc. Otherwise, its a *HUGE TRAFFIC JAMZ await

Joined this amazing church family years ago and things have been wonderful. The adult services always seem to just strike you deep and the childrens services are fun, engaging, and geared toward sharing God with them. We started volunteering this year in the childrens classes and is such a treat to see them light up and enjoy services.

Arktoberfest was a blast, as usual! Activities, food, petting zoo, pony rides, amazing decorations and volunteers! Its always a good time at His Place activities and everyone is so friendly and happy to be there!

Love this place, very friendly people, wonder pastor will be returning.

Pastor is amazing and also the staff. Holy spirit leads, and we follow. Home groups are where youll grow so get plugged in at his place. Children have lots of activities and our youth group is always growing. Come check it out if your looking for a home.

Been attending since 2001, we were curious about the ark. We had just moved to the area. We went a few Sundays then and really liked it, but felt we should check out other options. After attending 3 or 4 other churches we came back and havent left since! We became members and love the way Pastor Bruce digs into the bible. The guest pastors are very motivational. And I cant say enough good things about the childrens church!

Always welcoming, amazing worship and a very knowledgeable pastor that makes understanding the Bible much easier while showing us how we can live our lives following Jesus. Our kids love His Place as much as we do!

This is a very welcoming, peaceful, inviting place to worship. On my first day going to this church I was spoke to and welcomed I did not feel like a stranger walking in the door. I feel tike this is where I belong. Its a big church and I grew up in a small church but the people welcome you and it has that small church feel to it. Im happy here.

His Place has been a blessing. We dive into scripture as we learn how to become better followers of Christ. Energetic place with a staff that is humble, encouraging and fun.

I have gone to His Place church since 2001, and am beyond thankful for Pastor Bruce and other pastors. The messages go above and beyond, challenging your comfort and forcing you to either deny or grow. Due to this, His Place is the only church I have ever been to where the members are never allowed to fall into the luke warm category. Their auxiliary programs for kids, small groups, and Bible studies are also powerful. Thank you, His Place!

I have attended here since I was 13 and let me tell you they have the best youth programs around!The pastor is so approachable and knows so much about the word of God that I am amazed and exited to get in the word myself. The wittnes of this church is invaluable and i am so very happy that while I was away with the Marines that my Fiancée actually decided to become a member there without my prompting ♡
