I love this park, I grew up playing here. Its even better now though! I have a son of my own and there are so many different playgrounds for little ones to play on. The park is safe and beautiful, Id recommend it to anyone.

Clean and plenty of things to do and see! Located between another park that has a skate park, basketball courts,, baseball, free archery and on the other side a small mini golf course/batting cage/ roller rink! So the park is surrounded with things to do for everyone!Crapo Park itself is beautiful and is incredibly well kept up! Lots to do there, walking, jogging, nature hikes etc. The kids enjoyed the static displays and the playground equipment with a scenic view of the Mississippi river!River!Highly recommended!

Beautiful and once you find the hidden cave with the little waterfall it’s even more beautiful! It’s a little hard to find and no specific arrows to tell you where though. I even asked a local and he didn’t know about it. Only critique is it needs more signage!

The park is very enjoyable! We ha a great time walking around exploring, and driving through the park. We didnt see it on the map, but we ran across the Sacred Heart Cemetery. It appears to be a Catholic Cemetery. There were lots of statues and other honorary items about. There is even a small section from the 1860s! It isnt in the best condition, it has seen better days, but it looks like effort is being made to keep it going.

I have loved this place since I was a little girl. It was the first place I ever saw a curly q slide. They take such wonderful care of the flowers and there are some interesting misshapen trees that my kids enjoyed playing on. My brother-in-law used to take my nephew and me there to catch tadpoles more than forty years ago. If only there was better access to this park. The bridge on the east end of town has been out of service for a terribly long time.

This park is an absolute treasure in this town. Its beautiful, scenic, well-kept, and utterly serene. There are great trails and pathways throughout the park, and Ive seen everything from eagles, deer, vultures, owls, bobcats, and turtles all over the park. I find this park so peaceful that last spring and summer I lost over 100 pounds from merely walking the park for an hour or two a day. Amazingly, this park is rarely crowded and Ive often nearly had the place to myself on beautiful days.

Great time every year for Symphonic Blast. Get there early, picnic and enjoy the symphony plus the fireworks. Our favorite spot for family photos as well as the spiral slide. Enjoy the views of the river. The Cascade Bridge may be closed for now, so donate to get it reopened and youll be glad when it is easier to get around.

Crapo Park was created as an arboretum in 1895 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. There are 2 play areas, tennis courts, and the city swimming pool is adjacent to the park - as are local Little League diamonds and a dog park. Lots of walking paths, shelter houses, a horse-shoe pitch, a lovely fountain that is lit up at night, the bandshell which hosts the local muni band every Sunday through the summer, a terrific river view and historic trails along the bluffs. There is also a 5-star disc golf course and a skate park in Dankwardt Park, which is adjacent, so that the two parks are really just one spot. The photo here is from my daughters wedding in the park in 2013.
