Really like the gym here. Not too crowded. Good equipment. Nice staff here too. They offer a lot of classes as well. My one frustration is that members don’t often wipe down the equipment like they are supposed to after use.

I went to a championship basketball game and it was so swell to see the sportsmanship between the players. I also used to go swimming there. I taught my son to swim there. My grandson was in that championship basketball game. I love the YMCA. And it seems to just be getting better

The YMCA is a great place to give children swimming lessons and basketball practice. For adults the YMCA provides exercise classes, weights, and fitness equipment so you can build your own routine.

I give this summer camp ZERO stars, I had to click one star to post this review. It was fun for a week, after which my child began to get BULLIED relentlessly but another child. I emailed the CEO and the director of the summer camp. I was told that they would speak with the kids involved. This only made things worse. Next this child threatened my child and then damaged personal property. The camp director, Jason Fields and the CEO Walter Britt were again made aware. Mr. Fields refused to acknowledge any wrong doing and forced me to pull my innocent child from the camp. I understand children can be immature and unkind, but instead of addressing an issue, it was easier for this camp to call my child a liar and reimburse my money. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this “bottom of the barrel” camp next summer. We would recommend you not allow your child to go here either unless you have no other choice. (There were many other reports of wrong doing that I will not mention here)

Swimming lessons review....... if you have money to throw away, go ahead. My daughter took swimming lessons here for 4 weeks, twice a week in a group setting. Before that, she had took some lessons on Saturdays for like a month or longer as well. In all that time she NEVER learned how to swim!?!?!? She went to a relatives pool today and was swimming on her own before she left. So save your money & take your kid/kids to a pool & let em learn on their own with your help. TRUST ME, we put out over $100+ in swimming lessons here. I figured at least with the 2nd go round, shed be swimming, NOPE!!! So dont waste your time or your money here.

I was a player this year in a league and every single game we had biased refs that let the other team win in the playoffs.I am not mad I’m just very disappointed in the ymca organizationTHEY DONT LET YOU PLAY BASKETBALL IT IS A GAME OF INBOUNDS!If your child wants to play basketball don’t choose the ymca

This place is more like a retirement facility for the elderly then an actual gym. A lot of the good classes like (HIIT) get canceled, the classes are pretty easy to take. The Sauna, jacuuzi, steam room, is filled with nothing but old people who just sit there everyday. You cant even get any actual heat going in the sauna because they tend to come and go constantly plus who puts the heat knob for the sauna outside so anyone can change it. The showers have no curtains or walls between them. I will still keep a ymca membership because other ymcas are better, but this place needs some serious remodeling.

Have my membership here for 5 or 6 years. It got to the point where I didnt enjoy going the staff was rude and the locker room was always dirty. They have a locker room that you can use for adults only, but its quite a bit more expensive than the basic locker room. When there are basketball games or volleyball games the locker rooms are full of guests who are there to watch the games. They are going to use the restroom in there so theres not much privacy for changing. And oftentimes, the floor is soaked from the children changing after being in the pool so make sure you bring extra dry socks in case you step in their puddles. My husband refuses to go anymore as he says the mens basic locker room is absolutely disgusting. Another downer is it is super hot in there. In the winter and the windows are always condensating in the cardio room so it makes you wonder about mold and mildew.I also dont enjoy their business practices. I called a month ago to cancel my membership and was told I had to come in and sign a form. When I went today to sign the form I was told it would be another month as they took 30 days after you sign the form to stop the bank draft. So its like being forced to keep your membership an extra month. I would avoid this gym if at all possible. The only positive is they do have a pool and they also have racquetball courts.

Rude staff! They changed a policy and did a poor job of communicating to their members. When they did communicate to my son they were rude. When I called the facility director and left a message for him to contact me, he never returned my call. Poorly managed facility, beware!
