Neat little spot overlooking the beach and beautiful Lake Champlain. The bike path leading to and from Burlington is behind the sun dial at around 5 oclock and goes around in front of the dial.

Large scale sundials are always fun. If you have really young kids I can vouch theyll love playing hide-n-seek there as well.

A Burlington city park, this is a beautiful spot for a picnic, to meditate, or swim in the warmer months. A standing circle of megalithic VT-quarried stone blocks, this space holds marvelous energy. Stand in the power spot and get into receptive mode to receive healing! If it is a Solstice or Equinox, or nearby weekend, dont be surprised to see a group of folks w drums and music makers, wands and Crystals celebrating the season! Its right on the Burlington bike path, a few steps North of Oakledge Park. Access by Flynn Avenue. Keep an eye out for fairies!. And for you Dowsers, the power spot is just near the number four, p.m. side (east).

I was biking for the sake of exploring some time back, and a thunderstorm was making its way from New York east over the lake. Finding this location and watching with unobstructed view to thee rolling lightning strikes was the coolest darn thing Ive experienced in a long time. The clock itself is really cool having gone back the following day. Definitely something to check out when traversing the bike path!

There are some nice picnic benches nearby and a nice beach. The earth clock itself attracts some really interesting characters... who you either enjoy or dont enjoy.
